Book Title: The warrior heir

Author: Cinda Williams Chima

Rating: 5 out of 10

Review: It wasnt exactly my taste of reading.. since it was one of my brother's new books. Killed me in the beginning... it was SO SLOW~! Unless you are like my brother who is into finding the power in yourself kinda book, i wouldnt recommend it. This book doesnt even have romance!

lol x)

Also, if manga count if they are over 500 pages, does this also apply to comic books, or can those be simply over 100 pages as well?

@Beloved: Whaaaaat. I loved The Warrior Heir! Then again I don't mind books with no romance and I can usually plow through slow beginnings, so xd.png Your Mileage May Vary.

The only vampire books I like are ones with bloody murder and rape and stuff like that. .__.

Twilight burned my brain. So did all the other 'vampire' books for teens.

Review: I absolutely adore this trilogy. My friend forced it on me, I usually dislike books set in this time period. It is a wonderfully perfect story, and one of a very few things that has actually brought tears to my eyes.

Haa, that's awesome, getting Mister Monday on a Monday. :3

The series is aimed a bit more to young adults than Nix's Old Kingdom trilogy, but the writing is still superb.

I have Lord Sunday waiting for me at the library, although I just started reading Lady Friday.

Question: What are the rules for re-reading? I read the new Queens Thief book two weeks ago, but I'm planning on reading it again fairly soon. Is there a limit on how soon you can re-read a book?

Review: I honestly thought it was a good start to the series. The plot twists keep me on my toes, the characterization was spot-on, and the pacing was perfect. I'll see if I can find the next book at the library, otherwise I'll have to go back to Target.

Updated up to here. Sorry for not replying to any questions, *pokes draco's post for the explanation*.

Lightningstreak: Comics will have to be 500+ pages to count.

fly_away_soon: Your two books don't count as they are manga and need to have more than 500 pages.

Kanaye: There are no rules regarding re-reads. Every time you read a book you gain a point. It's just nice to see which books people have read mutilple times, that's all.

/EDIT: I have decided I (draco) will update the second post every Sunday, as well as the top readers in my sig. Freddy will probably decide when she wants to update after she gets back from her holiday tomorrow.
