I read them more than 15 years ago when they first came out. I was, like, 10-13. Rereading them was fun. My Mom found all my old books in a box in her basement. These were my favorites! Once I finished these I went into Stephen King! RL Stine is known as the Stephen King for pre-teens! laugh.gif

Book Title: Growing Up Psychic

Author: Michael Bodine

Rating: 5/5

Review: Although this book is an autobiography, it's an easy and fun read (and that's not light praise coming from me; I hate nonfiction). It's about a normal upper middle class family that discovers most of them have psychic abilities and the resulting turmoil, tension, drama, and discovery that blossoms from that. There's a plethora of fascinating anecdotes coupled with lessons the author learned the hard way, some sad, some funny, and one depressing to the point of tears, but all told in a pleasant voice that is both confident and still learning.

Book Title: Girl Parts

Author: John M. Cusik

Rating: 8/10

Review: This book was hilarious! If you're looking for a light, enjoyable read I would definitely recommend "Girl Parts", despite the strange title.

Book Title: Wide-Awake Princess

Author: E. D. Baker

Review: It was a tad predictable that Liam was a "prince in disguise". Other than that, it was a lot of fun. I liked it. Then again, I like all her books, so this shouldnt be a surprise.

Hey. I'd like to join. I did the 09-10 challenge but after a little while kinda sorta forgot to keep writing them down so I lost track :/ Hopefully I'll do better this year! I'll join for the full 250 book goal and that's what I'll shoot for but the year tends to slip away so we'll see how it goes. Fingers crossed!!

I'm afraid my reading will slow down considerably now. This is the last day of my vacation (though I hate thinking of that ><) so now I won't have nearly as much time for reading as I've had until now. Sigh. At least I've given myself a very good start in the challenge this year ^^

I'm debating hard about this, because I spend my day trying to earn money, it makes it hard to find time for my books... But I should join because dammit I have a ton of unread books!

Edit: also, I assume how-to, cookbooks and pattern books do not count?

Updated up to here. Sorry for it not being done sooner.

Pattern books, cookbooks and how-to books will not count because it's far too easy to skip sections, you need to read the books from cover-to-cover. That being said if the book is above 100 pages and you have read it cover-to-cover we may allow it.
