Book Number:47 Number Of Pages: 264 Book Title: Nightshade Author: Shea Godfrey Review: GRRRRRR. One character was all "I can't run away with you because my brother will hunt us down and kill us" and other character agreed and then all of a sudden it was "Oh yay, they've run away and I will end the story now. I will not resolve the conflict, I shall avoid it" Very anti-climactic. Share this post Link to post

Posted September 30, 2010 That one was last nights book. I really have no life. *sighs* I just finished: Book Number: 49 Number Of Pages: 312 Book Title: When Rose Wakes Author: Christopher Golden Review: Very odd retelling of Sleeping Beauty. She was asleep for 1000 years, and fell asleep at the kiss of her husband, instead pricking her finger on a spindle. And she woke up in modern day Boston. Very good. Share this post Link to post

Posted October 1, 2010 (edited) Book Number: 8 Number Of Pages: I seriously forgot to check before I returned it to the library, but Amazon says 400, so... ::shrug:: Book Title: Fragile Things: Short Fictions and Wonders Author: Neil Gaiman Rating: 4/5 Review: Some of the short stories I really loved and some of them were a bit odd. I need to read more of Gaiman's short stories, I think. Oh, right. It's sort of a reread because I read half of it then put it down, then reread the whole thing. Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) Book Number: 27 Number Of Pages: 384 Book Title: My Soul to Take Author: Rachael Vincent Rating: 5/5 Review: I thought the teaser novella I read was good... This book was fantastic, I am definitely pleased I persued the series. Creepy, scary, and funny, it was a good read. A stories of banshees who sing for depasrting human souls, and grim reapers who thieve innocent souls, it is really different. I didn't even mind the insepid teenage highschool drama, something I tend to avoid like the plauge. One question though, grim reepers who were humans now dead, taking souls for a day job? Did Racheal watch Dead Like Me? The consedences are huge. Edited October 3, 2010 by Sister of the Dragon Share this post Link to post

Posted October 5, 2010 (edited) Book Number: 9 Number Of Pages: 213 Book Title: Dingo Author: Charles de Lint Rating: 3/5 Review: I thought things happened entirely too fast, but then again, it was a very short book. I still thought it was cute, though. I was a bit confused at first because there's a picture of a girl on the cover, but the story is from the first-person perspective of a guy... but he doesn't out and say he's a guy, you just have to put one and two together. Posted October 6, 2010 (edited) Oh, I want to join! Too bad books I read earlier don't count, I'm not reading as much now that I'm not at school. *sigh* Question: Do audiobooks count? (I'm thinking not, but just checking.) Answered (yes they do, but look up the actual page count on Amazon) -- thanks, Kanaye! Edited October 6, 2010 by Danne Share this post Link to post
