I rather like Zaxian's "longest EG, non-IB lineage with a consistent pattern, consisting of more than two breeds" tag since that seems to be the most simple solution to how to classify Rockin' On's Geode lineage. *two cents*

This seems like a great idea because it's an epic lineage that belongs somewhere in DC records!

"Perfect" was never meant to imply purebred, but perfectly ordered, unless you are not intending to use the definition begun in the Even Gens thread.

What is Perfect Generation?

Perfect Generation is when you have reached a specific goal with your Even Generation-breeding. A Perfect Generation is always an Even Generation but with a bonus. For example; each and every dragon in the line is a Magi, or it’s all made up of Water/White-couples. A special goal has been achieved, more than just being Even Generation.

 

That definition may have evolved over time but limiting it to purebreds is too limiting and purebred already has a clear definition. A purebred even gen is always perfect, but not all perfect gens are purebred. Does that make sense? He is considered Perfect, because the lineage is specifically ordered to be a perfect checker.

 

Edit: I'm not sure you alll are aware, but I'm one of the two people who originated the Even Gens craze, and the thread.

Yes - I agree that any 'perfect' lineage is not strictly PB. But as these records are for a specific breed I think it's implicit that they're PB, e.g., a 'perfect albino lineage' consists only of albinos - and, as that definition says, is EG.

Or even should this record exist at all, given that it's sortof a meta-record...

 

And finally, I'd like to query the following record:

Category: SCROLL RECORDS - Trivia

Title of Record: Youngest DC-player with full awareness of what happens: Cassieslair (Born 26/February/04)

What needs to be reviewed? It feels like, if we exclude records on the basis of them not being related to the game, then being the 'youngest DC player with full awareness' has only a tenuous claim to being "related to DC" (being young doesn't really have much to do with DC).

Not to mention that it concerns me:

1) how you prove a child 'has full awareness of what happens'

2) keep the record up to date (unlike most records, it is almost certain to become out of date over time) and

3) it also worries me that it encourages very young players to announce their date of birth, and age, on the internet :S

But what about a general amount of rares bred in one month, a category for silvers, one for golds, and then a combined amount?

I belive the youngest DC record was actually submited by mothers who had their kids play Dc. And the last one (wich I spoke to) was the mother submitting her daughters date of birth.

 

The full awarness thing was to prove, that that user knew hoe to raise a dragon, knew what stages the dragon had and when it got sick, how to care for it.

I've been working on a purebred double stairstep Golden Wyvern lineage. This is the highest gen I've gotten so far (12th gen). I don't remember if I gifted, traded, or abandoned it, but it's now on a different scroll. Hopefully the one whose scroll it's on now will submit a form.

Could I have a clarification on something? In your "most of" category it states that you must have at least 20 of a breed to ask for the record to be listed, but it doesn't state they must be adults or frozen hatchlings. It would make sense to me if that was the rule, but it doesn't say. Is that the case?

It's easily answered - Frozen hatchies don't count at all for most of a breed.
