To bring the PB/EG records in line with the breeder records, I'm introducing an 'official' minimum generation limit on the 'longest generation' records. I suspect that this has been an unofficial suggested limit for a long time anyway, given that we have no pre-existing records shorter than 4th generations in the list. - Princess_Pinkie's Leetle Tree's most views/UVs/clicks - as the FAQ says: "What kinds of records have been denied in the past? - Dragon with the Most clicks - Dragon with the Most Views". - Not so much denied as ignored - Fiona BlueFire's updated value for Coppers, as this was included in the last update. - And in fact, the same applies for IvyJaclyn's updated values for Ridgewings, also included in the last but one update! Postponed - Kenywi's "Longest Hybrid Lineage" from this post. I need to have a think about what category this could go under - I'm not sure about 'Longest hybrid lineage' (as it doesn't consist all of hybrids). Removed - None ---- Notes: There have been some tweaks to the rules, most notably the aforementioned minimum number of generations. This is to bring it in line with the type of effort requires to achieve the breeder records (those being 20 dragons minimum). Exceptions to this may be made for very rare breeds - e.g. if someone were to have a 3rd gen PB old pink (with CB old pinks x some other breed). Additional rule changes: - The suggestion "Having all of your record-eligible dragons grouped together on your scroll helps records be checked (and therefore updated) quicker and easier" now only applies to records that involve a large variety of sprites, i.e. "most frozen hatchlings", etc. - I would strongly prefer submitters to give at least a rough indication of how many of a breed they think they have, etc., as it helps me to error check the numbers I get. Also please note, if your last post has not yet been included in an update and it's a 'largest number of' record then we will count the number of dragons at the time of the update (unless you have asked otherwise) so there is no need to submit multiple forms for the same record between updates. All of the above changes are present in the 2nd post of this thread. Scroll with the most dragons with a single naming theme Some input from me: There are "Total" record counts for several different dragon types that come in different CB colors...like dorsal, ridgewing, dino, tinsel, etc ...seems like the Nebula should also have 3 catagorys..one for regular Nebula and one for Alt Nebula and one for Total Nebula. It seems to me that all the "LINEAGES - LONGEST PUREBRED" are just all duplicates of the "LINEAGES - LONGEST PUREBRED EVEN GEN", "LINEAGES - LONGEST PUREBRED SPIRAL", and "LINEAGES - LONGEST PUREBRED STAIR-STEP". I say this even after reading the FAQ part about "perfect" and "pure bred" terms. I also agree that the scroll name should be added with the lineage records...I always wondered why it was not added before. Actually all records should list the scroll name/or forum name, what ever is being used. General, Offspring, and Lineages records. On the "Most X dragons bred in a row" records, these could easy be incorrect...anyone can just kill off any eggs that are not the right ones. I know of people that have killed off common eggs so their tinsel only shows tinsel offspring on the progeny page.
