"Then Skeleti perhaps."

He turned to Skeleti once Grim had finiahsed with the clown.

"I would be impressed. It doesn't look like he can do much of anything being nothing but bones."

The lizard moved back away from the dust pile of the former clown skeleton.

"Tell me gentlemen, what is it that has brought you all here?"

[Quackerz]

"Hehehe...Yes, this is because of me." Skeleti said with a low grin, he turned towards Salar as his eyes glowed red.

 

Salar grinned and then turned as though he was about to walk away, "I'll be back later..." he said as he walked away and pulled out a knife with his right hand, after a moment of walking he appeared to vanish.

 

Skeleti's eyes turned back to normal as he looked back towards the others.

[En'K'Haral]

Martin had seen Skeleti's eyes and what appeared to be some kind of silent communication or understanding between Salar and Skeleti. This was enough to put him on edge, he tapped his cane against the ground and the runes he had placed on the building earlier shone slightly brighter and vanished. Yan moved close to her master while the other creatures seemed to shy away from the ruined house. Martin cleared his throat before speaking and the air seemed to get heavier.

"Sorry but might I ask where your friend has gone too Skeleti?"

Yan sensed the tension from her master and was on alert as well now.

[Quackerz]

"Hehehe...just to visit a few old friends..." Skeleti said as he looked over at Martin.

Drago stopped and looked around, "Hmm...so I'm being followed..." he said and turned back with a loud roar, he looked around the trees with a low growl, Trakio slowly walked out of the trees towards him "...Drago...?" she said quietly and looked at him, "Hmm...who are you?" Drago replied slightly angry, Trakio stared at him but didn't reply.

 

"Hehehe...such a happy moment...sorry I have to spoil it...not!" a voice called as Salar landed down a few feet away from a tree branch.

 

Drago glared over at him "Salar! What are you doing here!?" Drago yelled angrily, "Just come to finish you off again...unless, you would like to rejoin Skeleti." Salar replied, Drago glared at him "I have a better idea.......die!!!" Drago suddenly yelled and launched a fireball towards Salar and then charged after him.

Martin shrugged casually as he loosened his grip oin his cane somewhat. The high tension had passed but he kept on alert plus he would have to do something with the golem now that it was created. He decided that for now he would have it stay put so as not to completely expose what it was if it didn't need too.

"The kind of friend you like to keep around or the friends that are better off K.I.A.?"

He asked in a humerouse tone.

[Quackerz]

"The kind that are better off killed in action." Skeleti replied.

Salar smirked as he saw the fireball coming towards him, he quickly moved aside causing it to crash into the tree behind him bursting into flames, he quickly moved aside as Drago attempted to ram him and swung his knife at Drago's neck, Drago turned and roared loudly as the knife hit his helmet and shattered, he turned and glared at Salar, "Nice try, but you aren't going to win this time!" Drago said, "Hmm...perhaps you would like to rejoin Skeleti, then?" Salar asked, Drago laughed and replied "Not a chance!"

Martin smirked at Skeleti's response.

"I have a few of those myself."

"Still? Jeeze you think you would have delt with them by now."

Martin sent Yan a glare that sceamed 'your one to talk' before shruggin off the comment.

"Your friends wouldn't happen to be particularly troublesome would they?"

Yan was about to speak but held her tounge instead. She knew she had crossed Martin one too many times today already.

"Some of them can be...quit troublesome." Skeleti replied.

Drago roared and charged at Salar as a large fireball flared up in his mouth, Salar pulled out another knife and laughed slightly, he jumps aside causing Drago to crash into the tree behind him, Drago glared over at Salar again and blasted the fireball towards him, Salar quickly jumped aside and tossed the knifes at Drago, the fireball hits a large tree causing it to catch on fire, the fire quickly spreads to the surrounding trees, the fire quickly spreads to the other trees.

 

Drago roars loudly as the knives hit his armor and bounce off, Salar suddenly pulls out another knife and lunges forward swinging it at Drago's throat, Drago backed away a bit but the knife slightly grazed the side of his neck, he glared at Salar angrily as he continued to back away.

"That could be problematic if they get in the way Martin."

Martin mearly nodded at Yan's observation. Unless Skeleti's friend was capable of disposing of these problems, it would be likely that they would have troubles with them later on in their objective.

"I have a proposal sirs. Since we all undoubtedly have our own little problems to deal with would it not be much more effecient if we commited our efforts in destroying each problem one at a time together. Only provided that Salar fails in his efforts that is. But even so a coalition would most likely prove benificial."

He personally hoped they accepted. This would be the start of rebuilding the cult to its former glory. He would later have to prove himself worthy of leading which would require the others to die at some point but for now he needed their strength to build the foundation.

(Wow I haven't posted in a while... at least the writer's block is gone.)

 

Rinee went running into the group of Elementals, striking out at them with her claws and teeth. Lurino and Typhius came in after her, cutting down the creatures as they came in spinning their swords. Darakio charged in soon after, striking out at the Elementals with his tail and claws. Telphion shook her head. They were killing hundreds. Maybe they could win. She gasped as a large Elemental reared up behind Rinee, ready to strike. "RINEE!" She shouted. At the same time, Telphion held out her hand, thinking of a large sharp icicle. It shot out of her hand, going through the Elemental, killing it. Rinee looked up at her with a look that said. We'll talk later. Telphion smiled nervously. Rinee turned back to battle, shattering the icicle since no one saw what Telphion did besides herself.

 

After a while, Rinee, Lurino, Typhius and Darakio managed to kill all of the Elementals. Strunno and Telphion climbed out of the tree. Strunno ran over to his father and began asking him a lot of questions. "Wow! Where did you learn to do that? Was it hard to fight off all those monsters? Have you fought off more before...?" Rinee sat under a large tree and looked over at Telphion. Telphion walked over to where she was and sat down. Rinee smiled at her and spoke. 'Thank you. I didn't know that Tiana had told you yet.' Telphion nodded. "She did. A little while before we left, actually." Rinee stood up and began walking over to the others. 'I'm glad she did.' Telphion smiled and ran to catch up. Darakio had managed to keep Strunno from talking by this point. Lurino and Typhius were talking to each other, trying to figure out where all the Elementals came from. Rinee went over to them and just shook her head. 'It doesn't matter right now. Let's just go fight some more of them regardless of where they came from.' Typhius hopped onto Rinee's back, Typhius onto Darakio, and Telphion onto Strunno. They flew up through the treetops. Rinee suddenly took a sharp turn and the others followed. "Where are we going?" Typhius shouted over to her. Rinee looked back and spoke calmly. 'You'll see.'

Before Teiyos and Goliath even came close to the ground the group had finished off the Elementals and were flying away.

"Wow that was quick."

"No kidding. Maybe we shouldn't offer our assistance I mean its not like they seem to need it, and to be quite frank I would hate to go up against that if it turned out the elementals were in fact the good guys."

Teiyos looked at Gliath in shock.

"What?"

"Was that pessissim I just heard?"

"Oh come off it."

"Now I am scared, are you sure your going to be ok?"

Goliath sighed and pointed at the group.

"Well lets go say howdydoody learn a few things from them and be on our way."

Teiyos shook her head.

"They seem nice enough why don't we travel with them."

Goliath slumped over on Teiyos's back and let out another exhuasted sigh.

"Fine, but the fist library we come across we seperate. Ok?"

"mmmmm....How about the first ruin?"

It eventually came down to a good ol match of rock paper scissors in which Teiyos was victorious. Teiyos flew over to the group with Goliath on her back as quickly as possible, annoucing their arrival in the friendliest manner she could.

"HOW YOU! WAIT THERE!"

((I'm back now, and personally, I don't think you should create an ooc thread, since it's easier to just add it onto a post in the rp, plus, it is less likely to be seen if someone doesn't go to the ooc thread. ))

 

"Thanks, but no thanks, Salar and I prefer to work alone." Skeleti replied to Martin, he looked over at Grim for a moment Hmm....he hasn't said anything in a while... he thought to himself then looked back at Martin.

"What's the matter, Drago? Running away so soon!" Salar yelled as he watched Drago back away and then jumped forward swinging his knife at the side of Drago's neck.

 

Drago roared loudly and stepped to the side and slammed his tail into Salar sending him flying into a tree thirty feet away also causing Salar to drop his knife, Drago walked towards Salar's knife laying on the ground a few feet in front of him and then slammed his tail down onto it shattering it, he glared over at Salar angrily "Now that you're out of knives, perhaps you're the one that shall be running?" Drago said with a low chuckle.

 

Salar laughed weakly and then slowly stood, "Sadly for you, I'm not going to be running anywhere, you're going to die just like you're fool of a brother!" Salar yelled, Drago stared blankly at him "...You killed Velsor...?" he asked lowly, Salar starred at him and reply "Hahaha...well...technically, Skeleti killed him, but either way, you're going to die!"

 

Drago glared at Salar and then roared loudly, "Then I shall avenge him! First by killing you, and then by killing Skeleti!" Drago yelled loudly and then charged towards Salar.

Martin shrugged his disinterest but curesed mentally. He had hoped to start back up but it looked like he would have to rely on the reports of those few wizards he sent out that would actually return. They would be rewarded while the others would be slain. he also turned his attentions to the silent Grim. What was going on in this man's mind that made him hold his tongue so?

"Well when they start giving you too much trouble then don't come crying to us."

"Your impudence is going to cost us allies. Clamp your tramp Yan. Before I clamp it for you."

[Quackerz]

Skeleti glared over at Yan for a moment then turned his attention to Grim for a minute again then back to Martin.

Salar chuckled lowly and jumped to the side, Drago quickly turned towards Salar's direction and rammed into him at full speed knocking him aside and then roared loudly firing a murder beam at him, Salar attempted to dodge but his right arm was caught in the blast, the beam sends him flying into a tree behind him knocking him off to the side.

 

Salar slowly stood, his right arm now down to bone revealing the metal plating across the front of his arm, three knives at the very front at the back of his wrist, "Hmm.....something's changed...you're fighting more viciously...just like you used to fight so many years ago..." Salar said as he stared at Drago, the knives on his right arm extended out past his hand as he suddenly charged forward at Drago and swung the knives at him, Drago moved to the side and roared loudly swinging his tail at Salar and slamming into him with a low cracking sound and knocking him aside.

 

Salar slowly attempted to stand as he turned and glared at Drago again Perhaps I shouldn't of mentioned that Velsor was killed by Skeleti.... this could be bad.... Salar thought to himself.

[Dark Moon]

Rinee landed next to a large tree and the others did as well. Rinee hit a large gnarled branch coming out of the tree and a door swung open. The door blended in with the bark perfectly so you couldn't even notice it. She looked at everybody. 'I'll be right back. Stay put!' With that she walked through the door. It shut behind her. After a few minutes she came back up with a group of dragons and people following her. The people were all wearing long white robes. 'I just thought we might need some help.' Lurino hopped onto Rinee's back, Typhius onto Darakio, Telphion onto Strunno, and all of the people onto the dragons. Rinee shouted back to everybody as she tossed Lurino none to gently onto Darakio's back mid-flight. 'I'll catch up with you later. Go and find out where all the Elementals are coming from.' She flew off. Lurino just clung onto Darakio in an uncomfortable position. "Why couldn't she have put me on your back instead of tossing me?" Darakio smiled. "Because it's more fun to throw you."

Teiyos sighed as she tried keeping up.

"They're not listening Goliath."

"Ok then lets turn around. I thought I saw some ruined buildings to the west."

"No you obsessive compulsive antisocial book worm. We are going to make friends."

"Look if they didn't notice us by now what makes you think they will notice us later?"

"But-"

"Come on Teiyos lets just go back to what we were doing."

Teiyos let out a defeated sigh and agreed.

"Ok..."

Goliath feeling somewhat guilty decided to create a compromise for them. He pulled out the map and picked a town that was in the same direction that the group they were following were headed even if that's not where they were going it would satisfy Teiyos.

"Alright Teiyos head straight and as fast ass you can we have a lot of distance to cover."

"Huh?"

"There is a village in that direction, albeit, its pretty far away but we may as well stay the course and if we happen to meet someone along the way well we might just make a friend."

Teiyos cheered up and flew towards Rinee's group as quickly as possible.

Yan simply returned Skeleti's glare and Martin's mood was slowly worsening. Yan was costing these negotiations with her arrogance and it was a price he didn't want to pay. He wanted to avoid a fight for now and focus on starting up the cult but Yan was consistently interfering. A low growl began to rumble in Yan's throat and Martin had just about had enough.

"Yan if you don't put a cap on it know I will make sure you spend and excruciating amount of time regretting it."

This was enough to silence Yan. She seemed to suddenly remember the house behind them and edged away trying not to make it obvious. She seemed to be gauging reach.

Salar starred at Drago for another minute and then charged forward, he spiraled to the side and swung the three knives at Drago's head, the knives clanged loudly as they hit his helmet knocking it off, several sparks flew off into the nearby grass causing them to catch on fire, the fire slowly began to spread to nearby trees as smoke began to go everywhere.

 

Drago roared loudly and rammed into Salar full speed and pinned him to the ground crushing his right shoulder with a loud snapping sound, Salar jumped up and kicked Drago in the chest knocking him off and then did a back flip standing back up, his right arm now useless, he glared at Drago and reached over with his left hand and ripped the three knives on his right arm off, he placed one in a knife holder on the side of his left leg and the other in a holder next to his right shoulder, he flipped the other one in his hand and grabbed it reverse-grip, "Hmm...this is getting kind of fun..!" Salar said with a low chuckle, Drago glared at him "Laugh while you still can." Drago replied.

[En'K'Haral]

Martin heaved a defeated sigh as he spoke to break the silence.

"It is obviouse that we are getting no where swiftly so if you will pardon me I bid you adieu gentlemen."

In one motion mike signaled Yan to allow him to mount and dispselled his animation prep spell on the house.

"I wish you all success in your respective objectives."

"Cause it will make ours just that much easier."

Yan thought to herself as she trotted off out of the destroyed town. The animated creatures following after the pair.

Skeleti watched as they left, he looked back over at Grim for a moment and then opened his wings wide and took off into the air and headed towards another town.

Salar glared at Drago for a moment and then charged at him, Drago roared angrily as he steps aside to dodge, Salar turns following Drago and swings his knife upwards slicing into the bottom of Drago's head, Drago roared angrily and recoiled and then fired a small red beam towards Salar, Salar quickly jumped aside and then charged forward at Drago and swung his knife at him again, "Enough of this!" Drago yelled angrily and roared loudly dodging Salar's attack and then grabbing the back of Salar's head in the side of his jaws with a loud crunching sound as he turned and tossed him aside, Drago roared loudly again, Salar attempts to stand but is hit by a large red beam resulting in a small explosion as smoke and flames went everywhere.

 

Afterwards, Salar lays dead, his knife a few feet from him, Drago glared at him for a moment before roaring loudly again and then takes off flying out of the burning forest heading up high into the sky.

Martin looked back behind them as they cleared the town and thought to himself.

"Well maybe we will meet again and then perhaps you will join our ranks mister Skeleti."

"Do we have to travel this slowly Martin. I mean just destroy the tag along team and then make some knew ones once we get to the next village."

Martin had to agree things would go faster without his animated escort so he dispelled the casting and the sparrow dissipated while the lizard crumbled. Yan took off at full speed while Mike looked over a map.

 

Teiyos flew after them but as she called out several times and got no response she gave up.

"Oh forget it they obviously don't want to travel with us. Let's just go look for that stupid ruin of yours."

"Sorry Teiyos, maybe next time we will find someone ok?"

"Sure, now lets go. Which way was it?"

Goliath pointed a little more to the left then thee direction they were traveling in.

"Forget the ruins lets just pick a direction and go for today. Once we get the feel of this place we can visit all the ruins, catacombs, dungeons, and libraries we want."

Teiyos flew off but she was not in the most positive of moods.

Drago looked down at the burning forest as he flew, he growled lowly as he turned and looked around the sky, "Perhaps there is a chance that Salar was lying about Velsor's death...but...where could Velsor be...?" he asked himself as he flew, he turned and looked only to notice the sea was nearby, he appeared to stare at it blankly for a moment then took off flying towards it.

Skeleti watches as he flies towards the ocean, "Hmm....seems he defeated Salar....guess I'll just have to deal with him myself." Skeleti said to himself as his eyes flashed red and he vanished.

Drago suddenly turned and dived down into the water and disappeared, a few moments later he came flying out of the water and looked around, the Island that Velsor had gone to before was not far away now, he growled lowly as he opened his wings and flew towards it at full speed.
