man, I loved Fern Gully, haven't seen that movie in ages

huh, I liked four; five is not my favorite

Five's not my favorite either to be fair. I like six though. And seven. They're interesting enough. I do love Harry in book 5, since he's just so spicy about everything, and it amuses me.

Good morning, CPA! B)

Bright and sunny. Thank goodness, since we left donations outside. Hopefully we can get them under cover today.

Glad that worked out for you. Fingers crossed you can get them inside today.

Gloomy, but no rain yet today.

The power company is supposed to come and do the final tie-in of our solar today. I expect they will not be able to come if it rains, so I hope it holds off.

What is marula jelly? I've never heard of that! *takes a brownie* Yum~

Edit: Googled it, and that's an interesting fruit that I've never heard of. I see that it's citrusy, but does that mean it tastes just like an orange or...? I'm so curious now! lol

It is kind of orange-y. Very pleasant.

I've stalled on the puzzle I started yesterday. My thumbs still hurt.

We did get our final solar tie-in done. The system had been working for about 4 weeks on a temporary tie-in. Everything looks much more finished now.

Bonus: one of the guys who came to do it changed a problem light bulb for us while they had the power turned off. The bulb had separated, leaving the metal part in the socket while the glass part came off in my hand.

hey all.

worked at work today, finished my last quarterly report for our clients... yay!

(well, there's one more, but we need to hear back from the client with the name of the person to send it to. fun times)

hubby was back in eastern PA this week. went to visit and make an appearance in the office.

I'm working 9 to 1 tomorrow, but then all my Friday and Saturday shifts after tomorrow are 1 to 5.  i like the 1 to 5 because i can sleep in a little.  but i kinda like the 9 to 1 because after work i can have lunch and then go to the library if i have a book to return or pick up.  i might have to plan those trips (25 minutes to the library) for weekdays.  yes, i could go before work, but (a) see the "sleep in" part and (b) i'd prefer to go after work because going before work means i need to pay attention to the clock.  i can't go after work, because the library closes at 5 friday (right when I'm done!) or 6 on Saturday, and I'm going to want to go home and have dinner....

wow, such problems i have XD

evening all.

i worked 9-1 today, then after lunch, Bellatrix went to the vet ..... for the same issues she had back at the end of January - even down to using behind the tv for stuff that should be in the litterbox. ick. turns out she had a relapse of whatever was bothering her at the end of January.  so.... another antibiotic and another med.  and then a 'bland' diet along with a probiotic food topper.

Arthur also has the same 'bland' diet along with a probiotic food topper..... but he's rebelling and not eating it, which means he's also not getting his asthma meds, which we crush, mix with a pate and put on top of his other food. *sigh*

then did some adulting and updated the checkbook tonight.  anyone got an extra .... $10,000 they're not using, that i don't have to pay back?  no? how about winning lottery numbers? XD

If I hit the lotto, maybe I'll pay for some of your cat stuff. lol

Poor babies btw. Pippin is going to the vet on Monday, since he has a claw that is going into his foot. He will not let us clip his nails ourselves, so... yeah. He's fine though. He'll probably get a bit of a hygiene cut around his privates since he's turning 14 on the 30th, and he's bad at cleaning his long fur. lol

oh i get that! that happened to Max from time to time - huge claws on that one.

and our long-haired kitties get that hygiene cut, aka "a sanitary trim" when they go to the groomers.  i also don't trust myself to trim the claws of the floofy kitties.... i don't want to cut their toe floof.  But Harvey runs away at the sight of the nail clippers, LOL

Pippin tends to... bite a bit. Well more like nip, and he's pretty big, so... We'll just let the vet deal with it. xD We think that the groomer missed that claw maybe? Since the other nails aren't nearly as long.

So the floors won’t be worked on for a few more days due to numpty planning issues.

We have no where to sit or anything.

All the furniture and bits are stored up in a stack in the garage.

We have to go to our rooms to sit on our beds to eat meals and have a bevy.

Standing room only everywhere else.

cheeky

very very cheeky.

So disruptive.

It’s like being in jail.

Bright and sunny. The dogs are driving me nuts this morning. The first one wanted to go out at 5:30 and again at 6 and then after breakfast at 7 and has refused to come back inside. Sigh. Sable wouldn't go out, either.

Silly doggos!

Started cloudy earlier this morning, but the sun is trying to break through now. Hopefully will be nice enough for me to get some outside work done before our lawn guy comes to do the grass tomorrow.

Is that like cleaning the house before the maid comes? XD

Today was chaos ($1633 on a half price day!) and ended with a metal gate falling on my right foot heel so I have a massive bruise and swelling and am hobbling. Sigh.

Sorta. Just trying to get some stuff out of his way so he doesn't have to deal with it. Also pulling some weeds before he cuts them off with the mower and leaves nothing to get a hold on.

Ouch! Hope it feels better soon. Elevate with ice!
