Bright, sunny, windy, and surprisingly cool for April. The sprinklers came on just as the dog and I reached the main lawn. At least we were able to weave through and stay dry.

It was all rainy here today. But it'll be very nice kayaking weather this weekend.

We are sooo overwhelmed with donations.  Busy day at the shop.

 

Just watched the Tournament of Champions V finalé.  Nail biting!

Lucy is going to have a rough day, so are the other kitties as they won't be able to eat in the morning. Poor dears.

when we've had to take a kitty or two to the vet for a procedure, we'd delay breakfast until the cat was ready to go.  me or hubby would take the cat, and the other would feed the others breakfast.  Lucy and everyone will be fine.   we get to take Oreo for teeth cleaning and maybe an extraction or two at the end of the month.  he'll be fine too.

That's what Lucy is getting tomorrow. Dunno about the extractions, but it's going to be an early morning. Very early. *Sighs*

 

We're going to give them a bit of food after we have Lucy in the carrier before we leave. Pippin Cat will be cross, but Emma probably won't notice. She's not one for eating and eating and eating. Unlike Pippin. I'm so surprised that this cat isn't 25 pounds! lol

Emma is only going to be 2. She's a baby. 

 

Pippin is old, and he's my son. I adore him so much.

I am limiting caffeine irl so the coffee in the CPA lounge smells really good! I have been drinking herbal teas, which I like, but they are not the same as coffee.

Another gloomy morning here. We did get some sun yesterday, but it is supposed to be rainy most of the day today with the possibility of severe storms this afternoon. *sigh*

A family member has decided to tear most of the carpets up.

 

The echoing off wooden floors is so loud. I wont say anything about the joy of moving a household worth of items somewhere else while the floor boards are treated and stained and stuff.....

 

I'm going to get drunk while trying to figure out how to move a bunch of fish tanks up the back so the chemicals in the paint fumes wont kill them.

 

So not looking forward to it....

 

Think I'll keep them in the birds room.

 

Only have two vertical walls of book boxes that need to be moved....

 

Why now?

i tried hazelnut coffee once, because it smelled amazing. i ended up with hazelnut-milk-and-sugar flavored....coffee.

i did used to like coffee ice cream when i was a kid. but now, nope.

Yeah, when we go out my friends get coffee ice cream in their sundaes, but I have never liked sweet coffee, so it doesn't appeal to me.

I take my coffee with lots of cream, no sugar.

I'm so sleepy. But Lucy cat was taken to the vet this morning, and she's now in recovery from getting her teeth cleaned. Don't think there were extractions, as we didn't get a phone call, so here's hoping!

 

Probably gonna order some groceries later, since shopping sounds terrible when we have no idea when we'll be collecting a sleepy kitty.
