we get a little bit more fall than you, but not much.  our high today is supposed to be like 88F - and then this coming week it's supposed to be like 90F.  that's not usually the temps in the middle of september though.....  at least, maybe not before all the climate change....

We're in the 90's with the heat index as high as 106! We've had a couple of light showers this afternoon (had to run for my bits of laundry outside!) but it's been mostly sunny today.

I made homemade tomato soup for lunch today with some very ripe tomatoes that my daughter brought me from her garden. It was very good, although I'm not sure I would ever be able to duplicate it. I was sort of winging it as I went. It had onion and garlic and fresh basil and chicken broth in it. All the recipes I could find called for two or three pounds of tomatoes and I didn't have that many! So I made "adjustments" and then added my own touches.

edit: i did a quick calculation between the time one of the eggs has left and the times right now on the AP, and got wednesday at about noon Cave time.  that's provided the AP times stay the same over the next 2 and change days...

Annoyed because I Earthquaked 5 eggs and only got 1 to hatch and stay. 2 were unaffected and 2 died.

It does! But only for cantors. Shumogas have to actually hatch from eq to be dark.

Cantormaris are easier than Shumogas.

 

My EQ attempt last night went a little better than before.

3 of 4 hatched, but one ran away.

That gives me 2 alts out of the last 10 eggs I tried. I still need two more females for my scroll goals.

Then I need 7 more green Cantors, so I am not going to be done with EQ yet.

so one of my pages in my spreadsheet is a calendar, where i list the date and date, and then under it what's happening that day - like who i'm breeding at what time, when that dead egg that my vamp killed actually leaves my scroll.... and while the calendar says the egg leaves my scroll tomorrow night - i keep thinking it's tonight for some reason - in fact, when i started to type the word "tomorrow".... i almost typed "tonight".  yeesh.  i really do have "calendar problems"!

They are for the Deep Southern US.

well, yes. but last time i checked, Pennsylvania isn't the Deep Southern US

 

also, the temps backed off the 90s, it'll just be in the upper 80s.  and humid. ick.
