Great Lineages Found in the AP

Recommended Posts

Y'know, I had a sneaky feeling that this would be a checker with Mistletoes when I clicked on it - so glad I was right, thank you @Terces!  He's unrelated to her, too, so when I find a mate for her he'll get a gf next Christmas.  ^_^

@LibbyLishly it's actually only part of one, here's the full lineage if you're curious. I can breed a sib of it in a week if you prefer the finished one.

I don't think I have other pb monarchs, but I do have a bunch of lyric checkers and a few more partial pb lyrics.

Very interested in a sibling to the completed one. I adore pattern-named lineages. Thanks!!

I picked up this one because I desperately need more white dragons, and it turns out they're from a spriter's alt and messed up a breeding pattern. I rarely pick eggs out of the AP so I'm excited!! (I don't know what the breeding pattern is called though, I can never remember.) I'm going to switch from tinsel to another breed and try to continue the pattern.

A lineage with alternating CBs is a spiral. Yours turns every two generations.

Can't believe this was left in the AP!  Look at all the spriters' alts in the first gen, and pattern is pretty cool!  I don't even want to match this up with any of my existing 5th gens--gotta think about what pattern I could make to breed a mate.  Awesome work, Ramani!  I love this lovely dragon!

This Winter. Is. So dang real. https://dragcave.net/lineage/ZFIRN I mean, seriously.

Quote

Firn (/fɪərn/; from Swiss German firn "last year's", cognate with before) is partially compacted névé, a type of snow that has been left over from past seasons and has been recrystallized into a substance denser than névé. It is ice that is at an intermediate stage between snow and glacial ice. Firn has the appearance of wet sugar, but has a hardness that makes it extremely resistant to shovelling. Its density generally ranges from 0.4 g/cm³ to 0.83 g/cm³,[1] and it can often be found underneath the snow that accumulates at the head of a glacier.

Snowflakes are compressed under the weight of the overlying snowpack. Individual crystals near the melting point are semiliquid and slick, allowing them to glide along other crystal planes and to fill in the spaces between them, increasing the ice's density. Where the crystals touch they bond together, squeezing the air between them to the surface or into bubbles.

In the summer months, the crystal metamorphosis can occur more rapidly because of water percolation between the crystals. By summer's end, the result is firn.

If the egg didn't have the code, I would've probably ignored it. Thank you for this RNG gem, @Herk!

Picked him up a lil while ago, couldn't resist the parents' codes!  Thanks, @Alectrona :)

I'm glad to see him go to a good home :). I love the name you gave him!
