Posted October 23, 2016 (edited) Not necessarily. Dark Luminae could still be, while unlikely, Fire, Death, or Lightning-aligned, instead of Dark-aligned, and produce Guardians of Destruction. The only definitive answers would come from the spriter/conceptor themself, TJ, or the Dragon Encyclopedia, unless another option is introduced to the game that can only be achieved with dark mana-aligned dragons. Posted October 31, 2016 That's true. Maybe after Halloween, we will get some more posting of Luminae eggs again. Someone suggested earlier that I should start a new spreadsheet to try and gather data now that the Dark Luminae release surge is over. Does anyone think that would be a good idea?? Posted October 31, 2016 (edited) I do, although it will take a long time to get enough data with how the interest has dropped. But it will be easier in the sense that you can drop some of the data that is pretty obviously not involved, making it easier for people to add data because there is less to keep track of. Posted November 1, 2016 It might take a good bit, because there aren't people consistently and consecutively sighting, breeding and catching Luminae and Dark Luminae daily. Maybe we should start over? There is already a gap, thanks to the holiday. We could start a new spreadsheet now and see if a pattern emerges? What to do? It would help if we had a hint of where to look or something. The closest we have are the Valkemare Lunar cycle. Outside of that...*shurg* Idk. Share this post Link to post

I do think you should keep CB and bred data separate simply because it seems like breeding gives a lot more darks than the cave does, so the cave data might be more accurate. It is really frustrating that the data when everyone was interested was bad because of it being right after the release, and now that almost everyone has lost interest is when we might be able to get the kind of data needed to figure it out... What I might do is make a copy of the file and delete the old data from it. That way I won't have to make everything from scratch, and the old data can stay in the original file. I Will have to changes some portion of it though, like the dates and such. - I already kept the data separate in my count. I just need to make separate charts for each of them. That's so true. They were important while we had no idea what it might be, but we can rule some of them out by now. I personally suspect it's related to the moons, we just need enough data to pin down the exact relationship. Maybe PM some of the people who helped before? Maybe a sig banner? Actually, I don't know if Mana actually matters or not. I never finished making the data sheets for Mana because of the double Mana type dragons. I guess what we could exclude is time of day and biome. They don't seem to matter. - Though Time of day was based on what time they were born, and I don't know if the exact hour they were born matters or not. - I tried to cross time of breeding with date, but it ended up just being too confusing. Posted November 10, 2016 Looks like the encylopedia finally has the information for Dark Luminae up and they are confirmed to be Dark-aligned.
