DC Moon Watch (Tracking Sonata Breeding and Eclipse Effects!)

Recommended Posts

Were you on mobile? I'm not sure whether it's supposed to be that way, but the celestial egg sprite has always looked vastly different to me on phone and desktop, and I think the non-translucency sounds like the mobile version.

Edit to add, because I just looked it up on the wiki:

This is probably related to the dark background on the mobile version, which makes the translucency look different. Soo nevermind, sorry. XD

Oooo yes thats it! I almost never use mobile for DC but had to last night because I didn't have my computer with me! And my phone automatically switches to dark mode at night!

Edit: Also to help out with the sonata tracking, I just bred my two gold sonatas and produced a silver sonata egg

I'm assuming once the moons exit the shadow, silver Sonatas will disappear.

I wonder if there will be a period of time after 8 PM tonight where we will be able to buy all three colors of Sonatas again, kind of like right before the eclipse, but in reverse.

if that happens and they're available to buy, they might pop up in the cave as well as from breeding again too.

The eclipse is slowly moving away.

Should we be tracking their positions in the image? The eclipse didn’t start until they reached 3 o’clock (end of day 8?), and I’m pretty sure I got my last blue on day 7 (it’s 2 days old, almost exactly)

Wonder if it's about to change.

ETA: Yep! It changed at 8 PM cave time. See below.

So far, only the silver one is in the Market. No other colors back in the Market yet.

The only Sonata egg available in the market is still Eclipse Egg for 200 shards, so far.

And I also caught Silver at 8: 05 pm cave time.  As it was available before the actual eclipse, I'm guessing there will be few more days to get CB eclipse eggs?

And I just caught a silver at 8:03pm

And 8:30

9 pm, silver

All 3 will be traded for other sonatas, preferably 2g, any color, to freeze — pm me if you’re not having any luck and we can work something out.

Edit: make that 4. 12:40am May 12, silver.

Possibly. Seems like a good idea. I tried to take pictures as records myself.

Now will the image stay there once the moons move out of umbra?

Caught another Silver Sonata at 9:25pm cave time.

The first eclipse is officially over as of 8pm today but both moons remain in shadow. (Confirmed that the eclipse lasts 24 hours - 8pm to 8pm the following day).

Both have started to hit the edge of it, and all 3 eggs are in the market @ 100 shards, so we’ll find out soon enough!

In the past days, when the moons entered the eclipse cone but the status was "A lunar eclipse is near" in the market you could find gold & blue and silver sonata, each at 100 cristals

Yesterday evening (I didn't check the cave time, but it was about 14 hours ago), with full eclipse, in the market there was only the silver sonata, at 200 cristals

Now (8:20 am cave time), again gold & blue and silver sonata, each at 100 cristals

An aside: I preferred the original thread title; maybe add Sonatas, but most of this thread is about Lunar Heralds.  Obviously the last few pages are not, but the rest of it is.

Blue sonatas have vanished from market less than an hour ago. Silver ones are still available.

Interesting, the blue moon looks fully out of the umbra, while the gold one looks like it’s still partially in it. Text has both as waning gibbous.
