I think it often is meant in the context of 'Shimmerscale', aka Eastern prize dragon. I also have seen it used as 'Silver shimmer' (silver eastern pize dragon), but I think it's a very easily misunderstood abbreviation.

I often see it in reference to Silver Shimmers (SS for them BS for Bronze and GS for Gold) with corresponding GT, ST, and BT for the Tinsels. Agree that it is not at all an intuitive abbreviation. Probably a result of the very short space that is allowed for your wants in the trading hub!

There is a user called DragonShadow (no space) and one called DragonShadows.

 

To search for users, go to the search bar at the top right of the forum page. Hover your cursor over the right side of the search box and a drop-down will appear. You can select "Members" from that drop down to say you want to search user names.
