As my 1000th forum post (yay!), I wanted to give celebrate by giving thanks for some of my all-time favorite AP catches. Each of these is a special DC memory for me that I treasure even more than I treasure these special dragons. <3

 

caught this about a week before I started looking at dragons' lineages for the first time... and discovered I'd ruined such a gorgeous one! Oh no! Sorry, and thank you, s0r0k4!

 

caught not long after Soulpeaces were released, it inspired me to continue the checker to 6th gen and beyond as my first big breeding project! Thanks, diannethegeek!

 

the first time I encountered a mass-breeding, the first egg I picked up inspired one of my favorite cavern lurker checkers! Thanks, 42!

Found quite a few things I absolutely adore in the last little while. Posting them here all at once now that I have the time, though I'm sure I'll miss a few:

 

A pair of Undines I'll be trying together for their hypothetical lineage -- thank you, munificent! So glad neither of them alted.

An Undine and Almandine pair whose offspring I've given away and has since grown up (the Undine was from the Earth Day breeding event earlier this year)

A couple of Goldfails who thankfully liked each other: Terrae x Pink

A couple of Thuwed stairstep-fails, whose offspring is grown-up now: Harvest

Yet another Harvest, this one with a Shadow Walker parent

A Purple with a Cavern Lurker mother

This beauty with his parents' special codes, for whom I'm going to breed a checker mate

A few other second-gens: Pink x Striped, Red x Black and Black x Green

This Hellfire checker

Less recently I've gotten this striped beauty, who I will try to breed a mate for sometime soon. I've wanted to try doing striped dragons with alternating colors in each generation, so this will be a good start.

 

I also got this dragon and this dragon, and I hope to have good enough luck in the caves to breed some handsome mates for them.

I've found yet another 4G Thuwed this week in the AP, this time from harlequinraven! I just wonder if i'll ever find a mate for this one since I've already got another pair..

 

Nevertheless, thank you to both harlequinraven and tjenni for handing out these wonderful lineages, which i'll hope to carry on very soon. ^^
