Posted November 9, 2016 And many of us will accept the Trump on the same way the Repugs accepted Obama 8 and 4 years ago Exactly on the same way Share this post Link to post
Posted November 9, 2016 As well, the fact that this was the first election in 50 years where the VRA wasn't upheld and several states put further measures towards disenfranchising and suppressing voter rights. She lost states that she shouldn't have lost, though: WI, PA, and possibly MI. Share this post Link to post

Posted November 9, 2016 You are right. We deserve the best and we got it. I would think that considering how devastated a lot of people are that gloating is not very mature. For most of the people here trump does not have our best interest. Even if voting for him was in your best interest you should respect that some people actually fear for their lively hoods because of this. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 9, 2016 I would think that considering how devastated a lot of people are that gloating is not very mature. There could only be one winner. And I'm just so happy that the right person won. So if those who voted for the losing candidate want to continue to trash Donald Trump, the President of the United States, knock yourselves out. Posted November 9, 2016 One thing that is good from you guys voting a sociopath into the white house; it lets the rest of us see which of you we should avoid like the plague, like this guy who's posting. Great way to show just how little you think of anyone who isn't a white, straight male. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 9, 2016 There could only be one winner. And I'm just so happy that the right person won. So if those who voted for the losing candidate want to continue to trash Donald Trump, the President of the United States, knock yourselves out. Difference is, it's not trash talk. It is legitimate "We fear for our lives." We feel threatened, completely unsafe. And we have no guarantees that someone will help or protect us. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 9, 2016 Great way to show just how little you think of anyone who isn't a white, straight male. I'm a white, straight male, and I didn't want Trump. A ridiculous amount of women voted for him. In fact, women make up the majority of the voters. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 9, 2016 I'm scared for tomorrow, what I might face during classes. I fear for my safety due to the violence he has incited throughout his entire campaign and how his voters will now be validated in their violent beliefs. It's not trash talk any longer, I am scared for my safety due the twisted rhetoric he has emboldened. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 9, 2016 it lets the rest of us see which of you we should avoid like the plague, like this guy who's posting. Ouch, guess I better hide my dragons from view bombing. Thanks for the heads up. FYI If Clinton had won, I wouldn't be hating on you. One person, one vote. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 9, 2016 (edited) people are fearing for their lives eta how is this gonna affect other countries? Especially those with very close connections to the USA? Edited November 9, 2016 by rampaging wyvern Share this post Link to post
Posted November 9, 2016 Ouch, guess I better hide my dragons from view bombing. Thanks for the heads up. FYI If Clinton had won, I wouldn't be hating on you. One person, one vote. Gimme a break, who the heck cares about your pixels? Are you that small? People could not care less about YOU. They are concerned about their safety and will be concerned for several years. Actually, now that the Repugs got every chance to gerrymandering, those people will be concerned for many, many years. This was the latest free election, if Trump and Trumps-alike have their way. And, by the way, you're too insignificant to make me care. If I was going to be upset at someone, I would be at all those people that did not get their butts out to vote, or at those people that, while being against Trump, thought was CUTE to vote for What's Aleppo or for Stein. Frankly, you are a zero and I'm not wasting time thinking about you and your scroll. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 9, 2016 Wow, I didn't know this place was so anti-Christian and radical feminist that they would rather vote for a Satanist murderer who wants to start a war with Russia just to have a female non-Christian as president. That also makes me wonder, why would feminists want the first female president to be the worst president? UH?????????????? Did you just land from Mars? Satanist murderer???? Posted November 9, 2016 Hmm I thought Palin was terrible. I liked Hillary. A lot of what anti-clinton people accused her for was debunked. One: I'm not Christian. I believe wholeheartedly in separation of church and state; your religious background should not dictate your eligibility for the presidency. Two: There's nothing wrong with Satanism. I kind of lean towards it as my own personal beliefs fall on a similar line. Three: She wants diplomacy, not war. Four: We are so far behind literally all of the other countries in having a female leader; we kind of need to start with someone. Jill Stein wasn't gonna make it. Five: Why would people vote for Trump? He stands for everything that America was not created to be; racism, sexism, xenophobia, etc. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 9, 2016 I have to step away from DC and as, 1) This is a heated topic that was and is becoming heated again, and 2) I do not have the energy right now to moderate this topic even if I was going to be on DC, and 3) There are no other available mods to watch over this topic right now, I am going to go ahead and close this thread, at least temporarily until a mod can be on to monitor it. In the meantime, you may post about the election results on whatever else social media you use, talk via PM about it with your friends here, and/or discuss it with friends/family in your life. As well, here is a calming masterpost if you are in need of emotional support, including an urgent care helpline. Until such time that this topic is re-opened, please do not post about this elsewhere on this forum. Share this post Link to post
