The theory I saw earlier would put the Silvers at the 21st which is a completely unacceptable gap. I think TJ did it on purpose, personally, so he wouldn't have to do a September release. Posted September 10, 2015 (edited) I will laugh so hard if Cirion's phase changes tomorrow and Silvers end up dropping Likewise a lot of people are working their moon mechanics based on dragon colour vs moon colour. Yet technically speaking, that could all be a coincidence considering the sprite artist herself told us that the colours were based on being prize dragons... Posted September 10, 2015 Once we have confirmed data on all phases, I was considering PMing RubyShoes about starting a moon calendar thread and having it pinned somewhere; however, I wouldn't want to do this alone, as it would be a lot of work to keep up with as well as a lot of math. If anyone else (Shokomon? PinkGothic? Fiona?) is interested, I would be more than interested in working something out. Also, if this has already been set up and discussed, I would love to help in any way I can! Edit: Sorry to ninja your spot, moonstone! Also to clarify, by calendar, I mean basically a list of dates each month, what the moon phases would be each day, and to which color egg that corresponds. Yeah! That would be awesome! Posted September 10, 2015 (edited) Once we know the exact pattern, with how many days for each phase and egg color, it won't be that hard to make up a list of dates for each color. I've already got a start, just needs the actual dates and colors. Right now it's got a lot of "maybe"s. eta: on a more positive note, it looks like I could get silvers for my birthday. Lunars have been around since the same time as Shimmers, but we've only learned about the moons (as far as I'm aware) recently. That's a lot of time for TJ to approach LadyLyzar, ask about this idea, and make the moons colors that matched. I'm probably just blowing air. It could just be a freaky coincidence. Still. I know some of you are upset that Silvers did not drop tonight. Don't shoot me - I was unaware these were being released when they were. Also, the moon mechanic is a little different than even I expected it would initially work, but I think this variant makes much more sense. Don't worry, I promise you will figure it out. It is not as complicated as it looks. Promise. However, I don't want to spoil the mechanic so I'm not going to offer any more hints about it. It's a puzzle that needs figuring out, and I'm happy to be a part of it! I'm a patient person, so the waiting doesn't bother me a bit. In fact, I think it just makes it more exciting. Plus being a nutter of Earth's moon and constantly following its phases, I'm actually so happy to see a dragon that follows in-game moons like this. It's a very cool mechanic! I agree that having to wait sucks, but it's the price to pay for a new mechanic being introduced into the cave to make things interesting. Posted September 10, 2015 Personally, I've been having a lot of fun trying to figure it out. Millie, I actually enjoy astronomy and figuring out long term dates like these will be. I think we'll have a lot of fun keeping on top of which color we get when. Also, I don't know of any reason we can't have a new release in September. Even if we're still figuring out Lunar Heralds we still would enjoy new eggs, and we'd have plenty of time to catch them. Maybe a simpler one though. Share this post Link to post

Cause it really hasn't been that long yet. =o ~ Since silvers didn't show up (aww, I too was hoping they would), I actually have another idea of what is going on. But since I haven't been paying attention to the moon phases and don't feel like reading through the big post of useful information right now, I dare not share my theory, lol - which has probably already been said here somewhere since many predicted no silvers today.
