Kiri nodded a little at Sayuk's answer, though it didn't reassure her at all. More like it put her even more on edge. She saw him turn into his dragon form, despite what she had told him before, and took off after her. She realized that was the first time she had seen him in his dragon form, and took in his appearance. He seemed to be around 30 foot tall, his scales a white colour, with pale blue and purple patterns, though his belly was grey. The webbing of his wings was also a pale blue colour, and his eyes remained the same, just with the slit pupil. She was about to tell him to just go and rest, he could get himself injured if he wasn't at his best, but between a possible injury and a kidnapped person, Jade was still her priority. She just turned around again, going towards the place where she had been with her. "They might be in trouble maybe they could need our help. Our presence could help them push back the soldiers." She hear Sayuk say, when he saw the others' fights. But she trusted them, and she wasn't that worried since they were in a bigger number. "I think they can manage." She said simply, not even stopping her flight.

Suddenly her eyes widened slightly, her flight also coming to a stop at the same time. Hi Kiri. Look I know that you are worried but this will make you worry even more. I need help. I can barely get up without my head hurting let only fly. She heard Jade's voice say in her head. "Kiri focus on the fight your friends are fighting right now. Puppy and Midnight are there. One of them could be killed." She guessed Sayuk noticed her reaction, but Jade was in some seious trouble now... "Well, you go and help them, if you're feelig okay. I have to go help Jade, she's in danger" She said, while turning and speeding up, thinking back to her friend. Jade, where are you? I can't track you, so I'll need some help to get where you are... She sent to her, resuming her dash towards the part of the forest where she had lost her.

((lol I can't say I didn't see it coming Key wink.gif ... Bed time for me after this post))

Stick watched curiously as Rain took a step towards him then walked around. If he knew anyone well, it was Rain. It was if she was deliberately avoiding him, which was strange to say the least, not that it bothered him to any large extent, or not to any extent he would admit even under the threat of death. Even when she talked she seemed a little on edge. For the briefest moment he thought maybe he had finally got through to her that he just didn't want healed, but something seemed off about that conclusion. It had been centuries. Why would she change her mind now? He briefly considered the new Agnimtra and what he had said about the corpses, but Rain seemed to have a handle on the situation. He wasn't sure who Jade was, so he did not think much on that either.

"Oh, yes of course it's the blood Rain. My blood really means that much to you? If I knew the solution to getting you off my back was to get rid of all my blood I would have done it long ago." he said sarcastically.

After this point he was a little tired of hounding Rain in his usual fashion. Sitting down, he finally allowed the waves of pain to consume his thoughts. The gashes were nothing next to the incessant flares from the burns. It felt like his whole body was on fire. He was very good at hiding pain though. His face was completely empty as he sat, but he couldn't help groaning the slightest bit at an especially large flare of pain from one of his burns. The air around him chilled as he unconsciously attempted to soothe the burning in his body.

...

When Puppy was embraced by Midnight he blushed a bit at the contact. It reminded him of the times his mother had hugged him in an attempt to console him. His mother had always told him he was too lovable for his own good or anyone else’s. For the briefest moment he thought his mother comforting him instead of Midnight and he relaxed a bit at this soothing thought.

It wasn't until Sayuk's voice filled his head that he remembered the corpses and everything wasn't cheery and good. Shrugging Midnight off, he already felt the bile fighting to rise up out of his mouth as he even considered the thought of being near dead people. It felt even worse that he had not been able to heal their injuries to stop them from being dead. All of his previous worries left his mind in one fell swoop as he ran towards the edge of the road and puked up all the food he had eaten as images of the battle danced through his brain, taunting him with their revolting ferocity.

((Hehe, I love my Rain and her Sticky love. Sort of had that feel from the beginning.biggrin.gif))

Mark and his brother picked up one of the corpses.

We will send more members to collect the bodies. Mark said, with a hint of disgust. Rain nodded to him and they flew away. She knew that most people did not have the sympathy that she did for Black and his army. Most Resistance Temples would have just burned them in a ditch, or something along those lines. Rain shivered. She couldn't handle the thought of such an act. A moment later she heard Stick's soft groan. She flinched a little, and turned to him. She saw him sitting there, looking so empty. She wanted to start crying, or run to him and hold him. She had a feeling that he would not react well to either. She strode casually in his direction, making sure not to look directly at him.

When she was close enough to feel the cold he was sending out, she crouched and rested her hands on his shoulder, then began healing his wounds before he could object. She doubted that he would push her off, and she could feel the pain radiating off of him. This hurt a lot worse than he was letting on, but Stick was always like that. He wouldn't tell you how he was feeling, and he wouldn't show it. You just had to guess. Rain worked fast on healing his wounds, pushing her frustration and confusion into energy to use. She had his healing done in a few seconds and quickly pulled her hands away from him. She took a step past him, towards the woods. She was breathing a little hard and was starting to get a headache. Healing was not meant to be such a fast thing. She had just wanted to get her hands off of him and to stop being so close to him. All of this contact with him was doing things to her. Odd, out of character things. It was all so odd and confusing. Those were emotions Rain had dropped at least 1,000 years ago. It was strange for her to be feeling them again.

Midnight let Puppy go, seeing how Puppy became sick at the sight of the battle eventually going over and puked. She could remember when she had first been like that. After seeing over and over though, she became used to it and it no longer affected her except for the pain in her heart.

"Well, now that this fight is over, we should prepare for what might come next. Rain can handle the injured and the dead along with Sayuk. Like usual, she's off doing her job as soon as possible. I suppose I will go with Kiri to find Jade unless I'm needed somewhere else. Puppy, would you please help Rain. You can learn a lot from her about healing. Stick, well, it's not like you'll take any orders from me, so just be careful please." Midnight said to everyone, then looked off to the direction that Kiri flew off in.

Sayuk was surprised to hear that Rain wanted to bring the soldier's bodies to the temple. She was way to kind. Well since the others would take care of the bodies he changed back to his human shape without thinking about his state. The energy required to do so was more than he had and he depleted his remaining energy completely. The first symptom was the dizzy feeling then everything around sounded and looked more and more strange. He could hear Midnigh's voice, but it was now only a whisper and everything was becoming black. He tried to walk to a tree, but he fell to the ground uncouncious next to the remaining soldier body. Which pretty much soak part of him with blood from the bodies.

"Sayuk!" Midnight exclaimed when she saw him collapse onto the ground. She rushed over to where he was now laying, moving him away from the dead body and onto his back. She saw that he was unconscious and sighed. Seemed like he had used up too much energy in this battle. Taking one of his arms she placed it around her shoulders and used her other arm to put around his waist as she lifted him up. "I'm going to take Sayuk inside where he can rest. Puppy, please go help Rain," she said before walking off, carrying Sayuk back to the mansion.

"Why do you have to be so mean?" Brick heard and just shrugged at the comment, watching as she sat down in the offered chair before sitting down in his own chair and placing the spear next to him making the skull rattle. "So, why do you want me to be in the Black Dragon's Army anyway? What have I done that made you and however that other person was want me in it?" He heard Jade ask and just gave a shrug. "It's not my business to dig into my superiors business all I do is convert people to the Black Dragon. Don't ask me why he wants you but I'm just following orders." His cloak fluttered in the soft breeze comign form overheard air conditioning units that filled the room with cold air.

((Finally, the landing post...

It's dusk, right?))

She looked around herself, the day was fading into night, and slipped into the moist couds. She poked her long head through the clouds, peering down at the ground far below with her excellent eyes for someplace to land. She spotted a building and a small forest near it. With a chuckle, she dove down, clamping her feathery wings to her sides. When the white dragon neared the earth, she flared out her wings, slowing her freefall downward. She landed in the trees with a loud thump, bending her knees on impact.

Fluffy quickly changed into her human form and looked around for her bag. It was lying on the ground a few metres away. She quickly walked to it, threw back the flap and donned the white dress that was inside. Picking up the bag, there was a small smile on her lips. She walked through the forest, the same expression on her pale face, her pale blue eyes glinting in the little light that was left.

((I don't see why it couldn't be dusk... the day has been really long xd.png Rain may have some competition though from the mysterious Ida who will later be elaborated upon Key lol))

Stick glowered after Rain after he healed her. He could have said a lot of things, but he was sure his stone cold silence was enough to get the message across. Standing up, he walked right past Rain. He was certain she wouldn't follow. Rain still had things to do, and she wouldn't stop healing others to come after him. This time he made no attempt to run away. He wasn't planning on that, not after the look Puppy had given him after the boy had understood, but he didn't want to be around either of them at the moment, Rain or Puppy. He briefly looked over at Sayuk, who was being carried away by Midnight. Good. As long as he was exhausted or injured Rain would be to preoccupied to come after him.

Going off into the forest, Stick walked for a few moments before he came to the largest tree he could find. Grabbing the nearest branch, he climbed up to the highest branch he possibly could and sat down. He looked up and briefly considered the fragments of darkening sky he could see through the leaves. Perhaps he would sleep out here tonight. He wasn't quite ready to go back to the mansion yet and face the music.

...

Puppy trotted over to Rain's side and looked at the ground nervously. "I'm supposed to help you... but I'm not sure how much I can handle." he said. It amazed him how Rain managed to heal injuries with ease while he seemed to struggle with what seemed the simplest injuries. If he could reach inside of Rain's head and pull out the knowledge, he would. When that thought went through his mind, he smiled to himself. He could, or to be more precise reach into some object that had absorbed her emotions and draw upon her experience just as he had done with the sword.

He briefly considered this for a moment and turned to Rain, mischief in his eyes. "I know this is a strange request, but may I borrow something of yours. A bracelet perhaps or something else. I'll give it back after I'm done with it." He wondered how Rain would react to that. If he was in her shoes he would probably ask why in the world he wanted something like that at such a seemingly random moment.

"Well what am I supposed to do here. This is stupid." She crossed her arms again and pouted. You can't track me? I have no idea where I am though. Nothing is happening. But if something does happen I'll tell you. She sent the message to Kiri. She then took out her sword and looked it over. She looked at it making sure that it wasn't damamged. "How did I get here anyway?"

"How did I get here anyway?" Brick heard Jade ask and sighed. "I carried you here when you were unconscious. Might I say for a a person with a dragon form as small as mine, that is a pretty good accomplishment considering your about 10 feet taller then me." Brick said slightly proud of the accomplishment. "I suggest you put the sword away or else I'll have to bring other guards in here." He said in a slightly colder tone.

"Thanks, I guess. And I just wanted to look at it. I wasn't going to try to stab you or anything." But she still put away her sword with a agitated look on her face. "You really are mean. Either that or you just got that way when you came into the Black Dragon's Army. That is why I'm not in the Black Dragon's Army. Because I'll get all mean and I'm way to nice for that mean stuff. Wind dragons are mostly always nice. Unlees people poisonned their minds or the Black Dragon did."

Brick clenched his fists at Jade's comments. "I wasn't always like this, I used to live in Australia before the Black Dragon took over and enslaved the Agnimitra there along with my nomad family." He said kicked the skull covering the spear making the jaw rattle in its loose sockets. "If you joined us you could help end the war faster and then we could all return to peace."

Jade jumped when he kicked the skull. She clenched her jaws shut and grinded her teeth. "There will never be peice for me if I join the Black Dragon's Army. I was always be plagued with the memories of me being in the Black Dragon's Army. Killing other dragons and killing the humans. It isn't right. I don't know how you could do it. You seem to nice. Anyway if my parents were alive they would hate me forever if I joined the Black Dragon's Army."

"Why do you think I'm a specialist who converts people. I would perfer doing that then killing someone, this skull if from the only Agnimitra that I've ever killed. It was the only time I couldn't convert someone over to the Black Dragon's cause. I would hate to had another kill to my list." He said looking over at Jade with a slight sigh. "You don't have to kill people if you really want to, just follow the Black Dragon until the resistance is crushed."

Jade growled. "My new and only freind is part of the resistance. The only way I would join is if you could promise me that she would be given protection. That she would be protected from harm. She is the only other person that I have met in years that has been nice to me. Every one else has been mean and nasty to me. They hated me so I hated them. Simple as that." She scratched her head and looked away from Brick.

Brick sighed knowing he couldn't promise protection but that didn't mean she would have to know that. "If I know the name of this one friend then I could send a message out say to stay away from this own person then we could have a deal." He knew if he could get someone like Sayuk to santion the protection of this person it would be fine. Um... sir I almost have her on our side but she is asking for the protection of her only friend which happens to be part of the resistance, can you give a order to protect this one person? He thought to Sayuk as he waited for Jade to give him the name.

Jade sighed still looking away from Brick. "Her name is Kiri. She was the girl that was with me when you showed up." She said this with a ice cold tone. "So what really happened to me? All I remember is hovering in the sky and my head hurting really badly. I cannot remember anything after that. You know what I really want to know? What was your family like? I always wanted to know what having a family would be like." She sighed an looked at Brick from the corner of her eye. He might not really be nice. Either that or he might be lying about being able to give her protection.

Brick nodded when he told her the name and sent the information to Sauk along with the request. "Well I'm not sure what happened to you, we were just in a cloud that was shooting lightning everywhere and then you just blacked out and fell to the ground, that was when I caught you and followed orders to take you here." He said remembering the events and then shook his head. "I would rather not talk about my family back in Australia since I don't know what happened to them when the Black Dragon took over."

When the mental message reached him he opened his eyes a bit, the blur before his eyes didn't permit him to know where he was, but it felt... comfy. A bed? Las thing he remembers was turning into a human then the diziness... He wondered who had message him, but the best was probably to ask Brick. He was supposes to be questionning Jade. He tried to focus, while remaining on his back. Moving would probably knock him out again.

B...Brick? Did... did you say something?

He closest his eyes feeling the fog in his mind closing in again. He took deep breath not to loss conciousness again. Another message not making too much sense to him came from Brick.

Whua... what about protecting someone? Who? Why?

Jade looked at him like he was crazy. "You wouldn't like to talk about them. Well you should be glad you even had a family that was with you before you turned whatever. My family got killed when I was five. Been living on my own ever since." She looked proud for a moment but then became sad. "And you say you don't want to talk about your family."

Jade said she would join us, but she wants someone from the resistance to be under protection and not be attacked something about her being her only friend, her name was Kiri. He sent to Sayuk before turning his attention back to Jade. "I'm saying I haven't been incontact with anyone from my family in over ten years. I've looked through out the world for them even under the earth. I'm sorry to hear about your family." Edited by monkeyboy225

Jade snorted,"Yeah thanks for caring." She turned to look at him. "Sorry if I seem mean but I always envied people that had a family longer then me. It's just something I do. Sorry. Can I look at my sword now or not?" I need to look at it. That sword shouldn't have a single scratch on it. It was the only thing my father ever gave me. Jade sighed and turned away from Brick.

Sayuk waited a couple of minute to gain some strengh back to answer the soldier. So he was supposed to protect Kiri? Didn't change much of his previous situation...

I... see. I'll look into it. If she join I'll make sure... That Kiri will be safe. I... I need to rest now. I'll listen, but not answer for a bit.

Sayuk then waited in the bed. Trying to hear sound around himself. It was rather quiet. He slowly pushed himself upper to use the wall behind the bed not to fall back. When he succeded in sitting he felt like he was going to be sick. His focus was getting better now, but he could not focus enough to see right.

"Were... am I?"

He asked whispering.

"Yea its okay if you can check your sword since now we have a deal, I just got confirmation that Kiri will be under protection." He told her as he picked up his own spear and examined the weapon making sure the point and skull were alright. Ok I'll keep you undated on the progress here. He sent back to Sayuk turning his attentio back to his spear.
