Book Title: Everything Here Is Under Contol

Author: Emily Adrian

Summary: Amanda loves her new baby, but she is struggling to keep her head above water. Reaching her breaking point, she jumps in the car with the baby and drives to Ohio, arriving at her best friend's house. Only problem is that she and Carrie haven’t spoken in years.

Review: I would have liked to like this book more. It explored a rich relationship between the two women. But I had to force myself to finish it and then wondered why I bothered. It jumped from one timeline to another -- Amanda's life in New York, her teen years in Ohio, and the present time -- erratically enough that I wasn't sure where I was sometimes. And then I found the ending completely unsatisfying. It just sort of stopped.

Book Title: The Keeper of Happy Endings

Author: Barbara Davis

Summary: An elderly French woman meets a young woman interested in the building she owns for an art gallery, and their lives intertwine in surprising ways.

Review: 5/5 Soline's story is beautiful, and I loved the ending! It was a wonderfully written novel, and Davis knows how to tell a great story.

Book Number: 33

Number of Pages: 443

Book Title: The Echo of Old Books

Author: Barbara Davis

Summary: Able to feel the "echoes" of old novels, the main character manages to find a book without an author...

Book Title: Because of Miss Bridgerton

Author: Julia Quinn

Summary: Billie Bridgerton always figured she'd marry one of the boys from the family next door, but she never thought she'd fall in love with George!

Book Title: Girl with the Make-Believe Husband

Author: Julia Quinn

Summary: When Cecelia finds herself looking for her brother in America during the Revolutionary War, she has no idea that she'd find his best friend instead.

Number of Pages: 332

Book Title: The Story Teller of Auschwitz

Author: Siobhan Curham

Summary: A young French author and Jew is sent to Auschwitz where she regales the other women in her block with stories of hope and love.

Review: 4/5 I liked it, but when her love interest showed up at the end alive and well after the reader assumes he's been a victim of a horrific regime. It feels vaguely cheesy.

Book Number: 38

Number of Pages: 287

Book Title: The Village Healer's Book of Cures

Book Title: A Baby's Bones

Author: Rebecca Alexander

Summary: Archaeologist Sage Westfield has been called in to excavate a sixteenth-century well, and expects to find little more than soil and the odd piece of pottery. But the disturbing discovery of the bones of a woman and newborn baby makes it clear that she has stumbled onto a historical crime scene, one that is interwoven with an unsettling local legend of witchcraft and unrequited love.

Review: This book had likeable characters and an intriguing plot. Set in two timelines -- the 1580's and the present -- in alternating chapters the story slowly reveals what happened back then. I found the modern-day story line less interesting, but still satisfying.

Book Title: Future Home of the Living God

Author: Louise Erdrich

Summary: Cedar Hawk Songmaker is four months pregnant at the end of the world as we know it. Evolution has come to a screeching halt and is seemingly rapidly reversing. Society is falling apart; food is scarce; nobody knows exactly what is happening.

Review: You won't find out by reading this book, either. I kept waiting for it all to make sense somehow, but it never did. I guess maybe that was the whole point, but it left me very puzzled and unsatisfied.

You might want to redo your post

Book 10 doesnt follow the form

For fruit basket, etheir it counts as one book, if you keep it like that (than you have to change all other book numbers to match) or you split it up for different entries but keep in mind that mangas have to have 500 pages to count (or group a few volumes to make it up to 500). Etheir way, that won't count as 23 books and the rest of the list need to be changed to match the right number.

Book Title: Spider Woman's Daughter

Author: Anne Hillerman

Summary: When Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn is ambushed in a parking lot in front of his protege, Navajo Nation Police Officer Bernadette (Bernie) Manualito, it sets off an all-out investigation to find the shooter. Beautifully told from Bernie's point of view the story introduces fascinating characters as well as intriguing aspects of the Navajo culture and the local environment.

Review: I could hardly put this book down. The people and culture were richly drawn and the plot had enough excitement to keep me engaged, even though I had solved the case before the officers did. ;)
