Sorry again folks! The new standings will not make it to the first post for a few days. I had the post mostly edited, had to break for a bit, the computer shut down, and I lost the whole edit. I don't have the time or energy to do it all again, so I am just posting the kind of listing I did last week. Once I am back home and settled a bit I will get it all fixed in the first post.

Far, far from the longest lineage but Im happy I got to participate a again after being thrown off for so long. Everyone's lineages look great!

Yours is lovely, @eurypterids. It might not be the longest lineage, but it's one of the worthiest.  Not sure that's the right word, but can't think of a better one.  Along with @Saintley and @Uta_Redhead, these 3, for me, stand out for all sorts of hard to express reasons 😉 .

 

This has been a fun challenge. I'm really glad that I stumbled across it just in time.  I'll certainly be up for it next time, although as a general observation, I'm really not keen on lineages that are so long that you can't view the entire thing on one screen. My early decision to make it a song was a bit silly for that reason.

 

5 days to go . . .

 

Now to puzzle what to offer as a prize . . .

Hmmmm trying to decide what sort of prize would be a good one! I might go through and make a group of pairs I think might be appealing to folks, I wouldn't want to offer one from my lineage project because it's not 'finished' in my mind until I get down to Z

I would like to offer a prize!

Description of What You'll Breed/Have Bred: A 2g prizekin from my female bronze Shimmerscale - any mate of your choosing (if I have him).  IF the breeding results in a prize, you still get it. :D  

 

I'd also like to offer a 3g Thuwed (or Salt-kin) from my 2g's.  My 2g Saltkins and My 2g Thuweds

Description of What You'll Breed/Have Bred: I would say anything on my scroll, but I know how overwhelming it can be to look through a scroll of 15,000 dragons.

So, I will point out a few things that I can breed, but if you want to search my scroll to find something else, there is almost nothing that I wouldn't try for you. :)

I have a CB Silver Shimmer female. Will breed to mate of your choice and you will get whatever egg is produced -- Shimmer or kin.

I have a group of 2G Prizes, a group of Thuweds, a group of SAltkins, as well as CB Golds, Silvers, and just about any other breed you could want.

I don't have even gen mates for all of the above, but I do for some of them.

Description of What You'll Breed/Have Bred: Sadly, I haven't yet won a raffle, so can't offer any 2g prizes (I don't own any 2g prizes, either).  I do have three 2g Thuweds and would be happy to try breeding one of them with a CB dragon or with a matching pairing.  I have a CB theoretical pair of all dragons - I say "theoretical"  as most are still virgins ;).  That said, I've repeatedly tried to mate my Gold pair and my Silver pair (always fertilised) and neither will co-operate.  I've created a Prize Offers group and am working on including any non-CB dragons that I think might be of more interest.

 

Question: Since breeding is so hit and miss, what do we do if a chosen pairing doesn't work?

Outright refusals are extremely rare if you use fertility, but some pairs can be pretty stubborn about actually producing an egg. I would say it is up to you and the person who wins your prize whether to keep trying or pick another pair.
