Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) I'm opening the thread because we're starting to get adults and I've seen a few people posting around their breeding outcomes here and there, but nothing condensed that we can actually analize, so I thought it was going to be easier if got all that together. I made a Google doc: Click me! ---- Since someone messed up with it, I made it public to the view and comment, but added a password if you want to edit. I'm looking for people to help me edit and update, so please PM me if you want to help! ^w^ And I hope it help us to get things organized and find out how does Xenowyrms breed Anyone can see it and comment it ^w^ If you already have an adult and bred it to something, you cna post the outcome with this form: Xenowyrm type: Astrapi, Thalasa, Mageia, Chrono, Gaia or Pyro Gender: Male/Female - Mate: Breed of the mate Biome: Which of the six we have. If it's a bred dragon, just put "Lineaged" Elemental affinity: Earth, life, water... etc. (You can founf this on the Dragon Encyclopedia) Mana: See below - Result: Here goes the breed of the resulting egg. Mana Affinities Mana of creation: Life, water, earth, light Mana of change: Time, ice, magi, air Mana of destruction: Death, lightning, dark, fire You can post your theories here and whatever you think might fit this subject. Hope this turns out to be helpful ^^ So... Well... Here we go! ------ Developed Theory: many thanks to Rubin and MessengerDragon for working on this one! :3 Situation 1: Xeno x Non-Xeno (regular biome): Outcome 1: the Xeno breeds true Outcome 2: you get an egg from the Non-Xeno breed Outcome 3: you get the Xeno corresponding to the Non-Xeno's biome Situation 2: Xeno x Non-Xeno (Cave): Outcome 1: the Xeno breeds true Outcome 2: you get an egg from the Non-Xeno breed Outcome 3: you get a random egg from the other 5 Xeno types Situation 3: Xeno x Xeno: Thank you angelicdragonpuppy for working on this point! ^w^ Works like Xeno x Non-Xeno (Cave). Outcome 1: They have a chance to breed Xeno from parent A Outcome 2: They have chance to breed Xeno from parent B Outcome 3: They have a smaller chance to breed one of the other 4 (or 5 if it's a completely PB breeding) Xeno types. So... I guess... Mistery solved! I'm really sorry about the inveinences we had with the spreadsheet, but I'm really grateful for those that helped with good intentions ^w^ Edited July 4, 2015 by Ylvanne Share this post Link to post

Posted July 2, 2015 Alpine nebula X Astrapi = Astrapi Lineage should i make these two life mates? I really can't decide They look pretty. I'll keep them as mates ^w^ Share this post Link to post
Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) They look pretty. I'll keep them as mates ^w^ you are right i should keep them as life mates i imagine this is how their nights would be HEY! stop making thunder i'm trying to look at the stars!" "you do that every night, let me have some fun" "you make it storm all day! i want to look at the stars" "BUT YOU DO THAT EVERY NIGHT AND ITS A LOVELY NIGHT FOR STORM! CAN'T I MAKE A STORM FOR JUST ONE NIGHT?!" "NO I NEED TO LOOK AT THE STARS TO MAKE MY WINGS BETTER!" "THEY LOOK FINE!" "how should you know you don't even have wings?!" "> OHHH YOU HAD TO DRAG LIMBS INTO THIS!" thats how i imagine they would argue plus they have the names that make them out to be the king and queen of my scroll i think these would make a lovely downwards "starstep" lineage by influencing this egg to be male and breeding it with with a different nebula color and each gen could have a different nebula also away from that arguement *distant roaring* I bred these two because i thought that was my CB bluesang..oops OOPS well thats a week down the drain Edited July 2, 2015 by blockEdragon Share this post Link to post

I REALLY hope it's not rare... Edited July 2, 2015 by Lumikkja Share this post Link to post
Posted July 2, 2015 So far, it seems to be related to the mother's side of the pair, but I'm not quite sure about what, exactly. Share this post Link to post

Posted July 2, 2015 I've added all the outcomes, even the one with the bred Blusang. I still don't get it I was going to go for mother's biome or elemental affinity and saw a male Mageia x female Ice producing a Mageia egg D: Share this post Link to post
Posted July 2, 2015 Not sure what this'll help c: but I just bred three of my adults. ---- ---- ---- ---- Xenowyrm type: Thalassa Gender: Male - Mate: Blusang Biome: Coast Elemental affinity: Water - Result: Thalassa ---- ---- ---- ---- Xenowyrm type: Chrono Gender: Male - Mate: Hellfire Wyvern Biome: Volcano Elemental affinity: Fire - Result: Pyro ---- ---- ---- ---- Xenowyrm type: Pyro Gender: Male - Mate: Guardian of Nature Biome: Cave Elemental affinity: Neutral - Result: Pyro Share this post Link to post

Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) Updated. @glamoursea2: Falco is Fire ^^. About the Anagallis, no idea .-. Edited July 2, 2015 by Ylvanne Share this post Link to post

Posted July 2, 2015 Updated. @glamoursea2: Falco is Fire ^^. About the Anagallis, no idea .-. Yeah, Anagallis don't have an encyclopedia page yet. Hopefully soon... I guess for now you can just do - for them? Share this post Link to post
Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) I still don't get it I was going to go for mother's biome or elemental affinity and saw a male Mageia x female Ice producing a Mageia egg D: Mana! Of course! Mageia comes from Magi, right? An element of CHANGE. So is Ice - it's from the Mana game, both of these were sorted as the forces of Change, so it's obvious that the result would be a mageia. Mana of creation: Life, water, earth, light Mana of change: Time, ice, magi, air Mana of destruction: Death, lightning, dark, fire This has GOT to be the source! Mana of creation: Life, water, earth, light Mana of change: Time, ice, magi, air Mana of destruction: Death, lightning, dark, fire This has GOT to be the source! I have a feeble grasp on this whole mana/biome/elemental affinity thing (so many terms to remember) so let's see if I get this: it is based on the parents' mana? But which parent? I always suspected it was mana, but I didn't think of it like that! That's got to be it... so it either takes after the mate's mana, or follows the Xeno parent. Maybe? Share this post Link to post
Posted July 2, 2015 See the post above, I think I figured it out. The thing there are only 3 kinds of mana... So how do the 6 kinds work there? Share this post Link to post
Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) The thing there are only 3 kinds of mana... So how do the 6 kinds work there? No, there are 12 mana, but they're divided into three things. So for example, if my Chrono x White hadn't given me a Chrono, it would have either given me a Gaia (Light) or a Thalaasa (Water) because White (life/light) is in the Creation slot. If this is true, anyway. I got so excited I couldn't count. Edited July 2, 2015 by silver_chan Share this post Link to post
Posted July 2, 2015 The thing there are only 3 kinds of mana... So how do the 6 kinds work there? well some of them fall under the same kind like Astrapi and Pyro Share this post Link to post
Posted July 2, 2015 But Gaia is Life, not Light, right? I'm a bit confused still. Do we know Xenowyrms affinities already? Share this post Link to post

But wouldn't that mean that there are three varieties of Xeno you can't breed? There are three types of Mana but we have 6 types of Xeno. So how does it split? Share this post Link to post
