I thought that, too. 

A group post for each breed rather than having to go through all the posts. Then people would just need to post the time sensitive ones (and hide them once they expire).

Yeah that would be really nice.... I know I have appreciated that compilation sheet for zombies a ton! I have definitely gotten most of my pages filled from many posts here, now mostly just need holiday eggs I can do nothing about atm, Neglected egg and rare Sakuhana, Arcana and Starsinger hatchies.  Besides that still short on neglected hatchies and little chicks I need 40+ of....

 

Speaking of time sensitive, I still need the corporeal celestials, if anyone's got any

I use the wild dragons page &when I find a user with a Lot of dragons who's scroll isn't hidden, I'll do 2 tabs: one the scroll, one the encylopedia; and flip b/w the 2, filling in where I can as well.

A compilation per breed(or if thats too many, as we have a Lot of breeds now, maybe by magic type/bodystyle/biome/something) is a nice idea, just not sure how that would work out across the board.

I still need more arcana hatchies, but I realize those are going to be super-rare until next Halloween. I stupidly forgot to click on a bunch in the hatcheries when they were first released.

Start here for getting enough hatchies or adults of any breed.
In my case,
Moonshark has a ton of spring adults.
Flame Rising has a ton of spring hatchies.

 

How I completed my pokedex:

I hunted the hatcheries for vampire and blusang hatchies to click on. Eventually, I found enough. Then I just used other peoples' scrolls listed in this thread, and the parent lineages of those hatchies I found to find enough adults.

Put on a note on your calendar for holidays and any new dragon release to remind yourself to click on lots of hatchies and adults when dragons are first released into the hatcheries.
I sometimes forget to do this and get screwed later because of it.

Also, look at the release threads in the News section or the Breeding threads since people posting in those types of threads should have scroll-fulls of that particular dragon.

Ctrl+F is your endless friend when searching this thread or any other thread for what you need.

I managed to get a lot of my Encyclopaedia entries completed by going back to the first few pages of this thread. It worked particularly well for things like Neglected dragons.

Also, do we know how long it takes for a dragon to go back to the "unviewed" state? I know after a month or some kind of time period, you can re-click dragons you clicked in the past and they get counted as a "new" view! That's how I eventually unlocked all of the zombie sprites in the olden days.

@Arwen17 I believe they 'reset' after a full month, so for example if you view them today it would count again on August 29th... That said, I'm still unlocking zombie sprites and I normally wait at least a day or two longer just in case.

I believe they reset to 'unviewed' after thirty days. I did the same to unlock my Zombie sprites.
