Pokemon: Legends Revolt

Recommended Posts

The two trainers pulled their Pokemon apart before they could initiate another poke war. Skorupi huffed (again) and climbed into Dana's hair, determined to stay there this time even if there was another annoying Pokemon in the grass. "Alright, neither you or Spinda are particularly healthy right now...I think we can just move on to Pring Town, yeah?" Skorupi simply sat there did not offer an opinion, but Larien agreed, so off they went.

Once Dana handed over his two Pokemon to the nurse, he flopped down onto the Pokemon Center's couch. "Why do adventures have to involve so much walking?" He complained to no one in particular. He did draw the gaze of quite a few bystanders, though, most of whom looked away and pretended they weren't laughing at him. Despite that, he was up on his feet again after five minutes and watching as the nurses fed his Pokemon berries and treated their wounds. Spinda was spinning a lot less now and devoured his Pecha berry happily. Dana still didn't know what was going on in that little bear's mind, but he would definitely be an asset in battles to come. Of course, if they practiced aiming a little more.

Zein frowned, he told his Pokemon to keep practicing. He went inside, to sign up for the Pring Town Tournament.

"I would like to sign up!" said Zein , to the Nurse "for the tournament!"

He listened to the instructions, quickly filling out the information on the Digital Tablet

Name: Zein Fuller

Trainer ID: He used the one from Sinnoh

Party: Duskull, Shroomish, Sandshrew.

He hit sign in, and quickly went back outside.

"Duskull, how is that disable going?" he asked

Duskull showed Zein the Disable, making sure to rotate the spark, but in doing this, he often fumbled, and lost control of the white spark.

"To gain more control," he said, "when you rotate the spark, keep it closer to your body."

After receiving Chikorita back from the nurse, Florent was dying for a breath of fresh air. With both his pokemon beside him, he went to see what all the commotion was about with all tents set up for the tournament.

The prize table was what caught Minccino's attention. Disregarding the Machokes guarding the array of TMs and Stones, it dashed out of Florent's arms with sparkling eyes and attempted to get a closer look at the sparking rocks. The closer muscle pokemon didn't even have to think twice -- with a swift kick, it punted the Chinchilla pokemon into the air. Chikorita almost laughed.

Florent jogged back several feet to catch the dizzied pokemon in his arms. Minccino shook itself to clear its head and let out a series of angry chitters at the Machoke, who remained unfazed. "Let it go, Princess," Florent sighed with exasperation. "If we want anything from there, then we'll have to win the tournament."

Despite only knowing two moves, Minccino was all for the plan. The plan to win this with Chikorita doing most of the work, that is.

Florent thought maybe it was a bad idea to sign up for a tournament that was way out of his element, but at the same time, his pokemon could get valuable battle experience and learn how to work under pressure. Finally, after some pleading by Minccino and agreeing on the part of Chikorita, he re-entered the Pokemon Center (than Arceus the smell had faded a little) to fill in his application form. He considered catching a third pokemon to fill in the third slot, but finally decided against it. It was a small town event anyway -- nobody would notice if he lost in the first round.

But, he realized with a start, none of his Pokemon had actually been in a real battle before. Since he already signed up, he figured it would be best if he had a quick warm-up battle with someone to see what kind of poke-power they were packing.

He turned to the kid who complained about walking -- from the looks of it, he was a beginner who got his pokemon at the Lab as well.

"Does anyone want to have a short warm-up battle with me?," asked Florent. "Nothing serious, since I'm totally new to this." He spoke to Dana, but it was an open invitation.

"Ooh! Me!" Dana waved at the other boy excitedly, even though he was right in front of him. "Just a second though, my Pokemon are being healed."

"Just about done, actually," the nurse smiled, handing over his Pokeballs.

"Cool! Thank you very much." He bobbed his head and released Skorupi. She stretched out a leg that had been injured while fighting Spinda and chirruped. "We're gonna do another battle, Skorupi! I'm pretty new at this too, heh. I think I might've seen you in the lab, actually...? Anyway, let's get outside. I don't want to wreck the Pokemon Center."

Grim got up and angrily glared at the Zigzagoon. He touched his side and noticed his fur was stained red. Growling, he blasted a cloud of poison gas at the annoying pest in front of him. He heard Icarus tell him to practice his screech.

"Cover your ears, buddy." Icarus said to Wing-wings. He put his hands to his head and Wing-wings did the same with his wings.

Grim attempted to screech again, making it as high and loud as possible.

Meanwhile, Icarus lifted one hand from his ear, and Wing-wings pressed the side of his head to his ear, effectively freeing his hand while allowing both of them to block out the sound. He used his free hand to point the pokedex at Zigzagoon. No information popped up, apart from it's picture and pokedex number. Sighing, he put it away and placed his hand back on his ear.

Alv trundled towards the Pokémon Center covered in mud. While he had been training his Pokémon, a Marshstomp had attacked them and made both of his Pokémon faint. He walked over to the counter and ignored the faces of the dismayed trainers nearby.

"Hi." He said. "I'd like to heal both of my Pokémon. Oh, and is there a shower somewhere I could use?" Nurse Joy stared at him for a few seconds before replying. "Oh, right, upstairs, in the third room. I'll take your Pokémon." Alv handed over his Pokéballs and immediately headed up to the showers. He quickly washed himself, got changed and went back downstairs to collect his Pokémon.

"Wait." Alv said calmly to Nurse Joy as he collected his Pokémon back. "Where do I sign up for the upcoming tournament?" Nurse Joy pushed a sheet in front of him, which he filled out. He saw four names on the list, Larien... Tom... but he didn't bother to read the other names. He thanked Nurse Joy and walked out back into the forest.

"Go Chubs!" Alv released a bright white light from the Pokéball which materialised into his Dedenne. "Okay, let's practice Thundershock! You can do that right?" Chubs nodded and concentrated hard. Her whiskers flashed; Alv could see sparks forming around her body. Suddenly, all of the electricity disappeared and Chubs let out a gasp before collapsing onto the floor.

Venipede, still tucked into a ball, continued using Rollout to charge straight at Gible. It tried to rush at the land shark pokemon to interrupt its attack, though by having lost its momentum the last time, the centipede was too late. With a hiss from the bug pokemon, the two pokemon collided explosively while Gible was still charging, and the lighter Venipede was once again tossed into the air but this time it stayed in a Defense Curl, waiting for Gible to wear itself out.

It was fuming, still aggressive, and refused to back down -- because how dare they barge in and scorch everything! -- but the bug pokemon knew it couldn't survive another direct hit from the powerful dragon attack.

Florent

Florent's heart skipped a beat, and not in the good way. Something about Dana's Skorupi -- and he was pretty sure it was either its weird mandibles or its rigid exoskeleton -- told him it was a bug type. In fact, he was pretty sure; he didn't need the pokedex to confirm it. He took a long breath through his nose. As naturally as possible, Florent tried to make conversation while on the way to the arena, behind the pokemon center. "My name's Florent, by the way. I'm a Pokemon Coordinator, and a grass-specialist."

Well, he was those things in Sinnoh. Haven't won anything in this region yet.

When outside, Florent took his place at one end of the arena. It was a simple patch of flat ground marked with white boundary lines. "I'm probably going to lose pretty fast from type matchups," he told his opponent (he knew all too well how bugs demolished plants), "But I choose you! Chick-pea!"

Chikorita followed his dramatic pointing gesture, and bounded into the center of the arena, poised for action. Its leaf was held ready. "Chikorita!" it answered.

Minccino stood beside its trainer's feet, observing the battle and ready to lend a Helping Hand. Its forepaws again had a subtle spark to them; Florent guessed that it would normally be considered an illegal move, though they were having an informal battle. "I don't mind if you practice the move," he told the pokemon, "But you can't do that in regulated battles."

"'Cino." Minccino crossed its arms, and marched onto the field to join Chikorita for some practice as well. It was just a warm up battle anyway. Nothing like a little fisticuffs.

"...I guess it's doubles, if you're down with that," Florent finally said.

Kaiser

Kaiser smiled at the sight of the Venipede getting weaker, his plan had worked and if things continued like this, they could win this battle. Kaiser turned to Gible and realized his plan wasn't as good as he thought, the explosion got the best of Venipede, but apparently it got the best of Gible too, unexpected for him, the explosion hurt Gible as well, andlet him laying on the ground, though the land shark soon recovered. "hmm... I guess that wasn't such a great idea after all" he thought to himself, he remembered reading and hearing from trainers who called at Pine's lab how some moves, like Dragon Rage and Energy Ball, being of the same type of the pokemon using them could be consumed, most of the time eating them, and give the pokemon a boost on their abilities. He expected his tactic to work like this, but it was not the case, after all Gible did not eat the Dragon Rage and that was probably why he got hurt as well. The young trainer hesitated for a momment, should he attempt that again? After some momments of thinking, he shook his head, that wa snot safe at least not yet, he had to leave that for another momment. Gible stood up, shaking his head after the clash, he took battle stance again, he was not willing to loose now. The pokemon turned to his trainer calling a determined "gible!" he wanted to continue the battle. Kaiser nodded, he understood his pokemon "alright, use Sand Attack to distract it and follow it up with a Tackle" he called. Gible nodded and ran towards Venipede, his hand scratching the ground gathering sand and throwing it at the curled Venipede, once enough sand had gotten to the centipede's eyes, Gible moved around, and dashed against Venipede aiming to Tackle it from the side, hoping the pokemon would not figure out his plan.

Larien

Larien followed up Dana, she had no problem getting to Pring Town early, that could give her some time to train Spinarak, and probably most important, make the spider and her newly caught Cleffa get along better. The girl followed Dana up to Pring Town and upon their arrival, they got into the Pokemon Center, although it was not as welcoming as she expected, mostly due to the rik still lingering in the air. Larien watched how Dana, rather excited, agreed on a battle with another boy. She smiled and let them go ahead to the arena while she had her pokemon healed. The girl returned Spinarak to his pokeball, something the spider was not really happy with but obeyed nevertheless. She gave Nurse Joy her pokeballs to have her pokemon healed and waited patiently for them to be returned.

[i assume we can control our own starter's nature, gender, abilities like last time?]

Emilia petted the sleeping vulpix's soft head as the Pokemon laid next to her. The little fox Pokemon had been her first true Pokemon partner and she couldn't be happier with how it turned out. As a pure fire type Pokemon Vulpix would be an excellent addition to her team if only she could now find a good water type to counter Opal's(Vulpix) weaknesses or a Pokemon to switch in after Drought had covered the field, her team would be one step closer to becoming one of the strongest. Every team needs diversity and that is truest in Pokemon battles because if you have lots of weaknesses and no counter for them even a strong Pokemon could never win. Though all that talk would have to be saved for later when the chances arose for now she would just enjoy the first day of her journey. She had never been able to go on her journey due to them always jumping from place to place but this time she had gotten her father to promise not to move again until she got back allowing her to finally start one.

"So far it hasn't gone very badly" Emilia thought as she sat studying the forest Pokemon around her. "knock on wood."

As she watched the wild Pokemon play and fight she wrote little notes to herself over what she saw. The journal she carried around was filled with data on all the Pokemon she had ever seen and the morning of research had proven prosperous adding four full pages to it. The Vivillons and Butterfrees had become her favorite for the day as their striking colors seemed to paint over the canvas of green with their reds, purples and blues.

"Pokemon are so fascinating" Emilia smiled reaching for the extra pencil she keep in her bag.

Though upon opening it she found the package her father had entrusted her and a mental slap in the face. She had spent so much time studying she had completely forgotten about her mission to get to Pring Town where the package was to be delivered and where the upcoming Pokemon tournament was to be held. After the immediate realization hit her she began scrambling to pick up all her belongings and waking Opal in the process who noisily voiced her displeasure.

"Sorry girl but we have places to be."

Scooping up the groggy Pokemon so she could rest more Emilia headed back to the route and on towards the next town. She could see in the dusty road a good amount of shoe prints showing her she wasn't the only person coming from Nut Town. There's going to be some good competition at the tournament and she hoped Opal was up for the challenge considering they had never battle with each other before. After a good hour or so of walking with an excited little skip every other step Emilia was finally able to see the outskirts of Pring Town. Though her mind was made up to get straight to the town her and Opal's stomach began to protest with hunger.

"Well i guess they won't close the sign-ups till tonight" she laughed. "How about we get some food then proceed as planned?"

Opal simply nodded her answer and as Emilia let her down she began eating the berries off bushes while her trainer grabbed food from her backpack.

Emilia

((Sorry I forgot to mention that before, but yes you can.))

While Emilia dug in her backpack to get her food, she could hear a lashing sound, followed up by her Vulpix' cry. Emilia's Vulpix fell to the ground next to her, a line mark on her face from the hit it had just taken. Whe the girl looked up to where her Vulpix had been eating, she could see an angry Bellsprout moving its vines around in a menacing fashion, it was now obvious what and who had hit her Vulpix.

Emilia was stunned when Opal tumbled back to her after taking what sounded like a decent sized whack across her face. Whipping her head up she found the attacker to be an angry Bellsprout waving its vines menacingly in their direction. Opal brushed her paw across the damaged fur finding the long line in it which she knew would take a few hours or so to shift back into place.

"Hey you messed up my beautiful fur!" Vulpix cried angrily flames growing from her mouth.

It was clear to Emilia that Opal was not going to back down now and however much she didn't want a fight to break out there was no stopping it.

"Well at least now i can practice battling with Opal before the tournament" she thought rising to her feet. "Alright Vulpix i don't know why you were hit but i won't stand you getting hurt."

The Bellsprout was part grass so they had the technical advantage but pokemon could surprise you and it was better to learn before then after.

"Opal stay away from its vines as best you can and use ember to weaken it. Go!"

"Dana. I'm just a new trainer, but hopefully I'll be able to add a cool title to my name someday." He grinned. "Alright, Skorupi, go on." Skorupi jumped down from his arms and scuttled onto the field, her stinger raised. The Minccino walked onto the stage as well, and Dana giggled. "Alright, you too then, Spinda!" He threw the Pokeball, and Spinda appeared on the field, tottering around in a rough circle. He looked over at Skorupi and grinned. "Spiiiiiin." Skorupi huffed and tried not to look at him.

"I guess we should get started...um." Skorupi didn't know any bug-type moves yet, but Poison Sting could still offer an advantage, even if it was a relatively weak move. Spinda only knew two, but it had been amazing at dodging attacks when he'd caught it. Then again, with this guy, you never really knew if something was a fluke or not. In any case, neither of them knew any status moves, so they were going for a full-out attack. "Spinda, use Uproar on Minccino. Skorupi, approach Chikorita and cover yourself with Poison Sting!" Skorupi seemed to get a glint in her eye, and ran full-tilt at Chick-pea while shooting poison barbs out of her mouth. Spinda tottered a few steps forward, then let out a horrible screech.

Icarus

The Zigzagoon started coughing when the Poison Gas was released. The pokemon felt the riking smell and tried to back off, not before hearing the Stunky releasing an ear piercing and annoying Screech. Zigzagoon cried an angry "zagooon!" in a menacing tone towards is foe, it was not going to tolerate any more screeches. Zigzagoon let out a loud Growl before lunging against the Stunky with a Tackle, making the skunk to forcefully retreat several feet from the hit. Zigzagoon smiled, it thought it had the upper hand in the battle but was then when it felt the effects of Stunky's earlier attack, the POison Gas had in fact Poisoned the racoon who now was coughing, in pain.

Emilia

Bellsprout didn't cared to answer the vulpix, it was angry at the fox for eating from its berry bush. The pokemon preapred to hit the Vulpix with yet another Vine Whip attack but before it could even swing one of its vines, the fox retaliated with an Ember attack, burning the bell shaped pokemon instantly. Bellsprout let out a cry of pain, but soon recovered, swinging its vines around like whips to cool down its body. Bellsprout cried an angered "beeeell!" before it suddenly got bigger, a Growth move before lashing the Vulpix with its vines once again, a Vine Whipe attack.

Grim grinned grimly and scratched at it with both claws while screeching. He watched it get more and more annoyed. Icarus looked on from the sidelines."Go get him!" He backed away as the poisonous gas dissipated into the air. Wing-wings chirped, slightly unsettled.

Zein watched as his Duskull continued to practice disable, and finally, he sent out Curly. "Use poison sting on him!" he said.

Curly obeyed, but it did not hurt the Duskull much.

"Now Duskull, disable!" Duskull obeyed. A white spark started rotating close to its body, a clear spear started forming around it, and it flashed, as the Sandshrew was looking dead at it.

"Now, Curly, Poison Sting!" called Zein

He could not use poison sting. Duskull had successfully learned disable

((Two announcements. Dragonhatchling is free to take care of the end of Kaiser's battle, and Minccino's Gen 6 attack list has Baby-doll Eyes instead of Growl (but either move works)))

Kaiser

The Venipede felt sand getting pelted at it. What a pathetic attack. What would normally have blinded its eyes simply bounced off its hard shell. The centipede pokemon thought it would be a good time to launch a counter, and so it uncurled itself and prepared for its next attack.

"Veni.. pede!" Poison darts come from its mouth in another Poison Sting attack. Despite the sand in the air, the Venipede was confident it had hit Gible. That was why it didn't see the land shark coming for a tackle from its side. The wild pokemon was pushed back several feet with a cry, but pelted Gible with one final Poison Sting from point-blank range as the sand cloud faded.

While the Venipede was in bad shape, the land shark pokemon was as weakened as the centipede thanks to signs of poison.

Florent

Florent quickly checked his pokedex. He had seen a Spinda before, wreaking havoc in a contest with Teeter Dance, and it was not something he wanted to experience again.

An so, when Dana gave his orders, Florent was quick to act. "Not so fast! Chick, counter with Razor Leaf and Tackle! Princess, help out with Baby-doll eyes!" While probably not the most beautiful combination, he had to work with what he had.

Minccino dashed forward and shot a quick but charming glance at Skorupi, causing the scorpion pokemon to hesitate and lower its attack power. Though immediately after, the chinchilla was blown away by the sound of Spinda's cries, forcing it to cover its large ears and rendering it unable to do anything else that turn. Florent told the pokemon to use Helping Hand, though Minccino couldn't hear him.

Chikorita's leaf glowed and with a swing, several sharp leaves were sent flying at Skorupi. Florent knew that the attack wouldn't do much damage because of its typing disadvantage, but the the Razor Leaves collided with the incoming Poison Sting, partially neutralizing both attacks. Some poison barbs still came through though, and Chikorita rushed right into them while running forward to slam into Skorupi. While the leaf pokemon was not poisoned and the attack was overall not very strong, it was still super-effective.

Zein sent out Curly.

"Now, it's your turn!" he called. "Rollout will be an extremely offensively powerful move at your level, so use it!"

The Sandshrew tried, but he only ended up using defense curl.

"Now, you see you have to roll while doing it."

Zein sent out Shroomish, and made him push Curly while he was in the Defense Curl position, and he went rolling out of control into a tree.

"Now, try to create that force on your own!" said Zein, as Curly tried to propel himself forward

Opal gave a "hmph" of approval as the fire burned the Bellsprout and caused it to cry out in pain. Though it was not going to go down so easily and using Growth made its body bigger and it's attacks stronger. Thanks to Opal's resistance to Grass type moves the hit wasn't so effective but because she wasn't a physical tank it still did decent amounts of damage leaving yet another line in her fur.

Emilia knew Opal would be furious when she found the next line and hoped she wouldn't become reckless. She had once seen the full extent of a Bellsprout's close range power on TV and didn't want that happening to Opal. Since Opal only knew two moves and nether worked with each other, Ember being a special move and Tail Whip lowering defense, she only had one option.

"Alright Opal keep your distance and use Ember again. Go!"

Since the Bellsprout had grown since the first attack it would be at lest easier to hit unless it had Chlorophyll which would be a nightmare because of Vulpix's Drought ability.

Zein watched Curly continue to try to use Rollout, ramming into trees, sometimes actually rolling, other times not. Once he finally got the rolling part down, Curly could not control where he was going.

"Curly, while in the Defense Curl position, point your tail slightly out, to act as a handling mechanism!"

Curly obeyed, learning to use the tip of its tail, as a slight steering wheel mechanism when using rollout.

The Zigzagoon let out a painful "zig...zagoon" as it got hit by the Stunky, the pokemon was now less angered and more regretfull, how comes this battle turned against it? The pokemon raised the back of its body and started swinging its tail, distracting the Stunky with it before it rammed the foe with another Tackle, sending the still distracted Stunky rolling back to its trainer's feet. Zigzagoon smiled, but its smile was soon erased when it felt its body hurt by the Poison. The pokemon let out a loud Growl before it had to kneel to the ground, not able to hold its own for much longer, it was clear Zigzagoon wouldn't last longer in this battle.

Emilia

The Bellsprout seemed unfazed when it saw the Ember attack coming at it, instead the pokemon started using its vines like fans to dissipate the air and thus the fire. Though it managed to raise a good amount of air, the Ember atatck proved to be too much to be stopped that way and bellsprout still got hurt by the attack. The bell shaped pokemon seemed now more angry and moving both its vines to th right, it lashed them towards the Vulpix with yet another Vine Whip attack, though even when this attack came with both vines it didn't hurt more than it would've hurt if only one was used, asign it was getting weaker.

Kaiser

Kaiser smiled when he saw Gible's attack hit succesfully, he knew that should've hurt Venipede quite a lot. The boy turned to the centipede and smiled, he saw it struggling to continue battling, clearly in bad shape, though when he turned at Gible his smile dissapeared, the small land shark had one of Venipede's poison barbs suck in his left arm, his face with a slight purple tone, there was no doubt, Gible had been Poisoned. Kaiser shrugged he knew this battle had to end and soon. "Gible use Dragon Rage, repeatedly!" he called, he knew itwas a lot to ask from the hurt Gible, but there was only one thing he could think of to win this battle. Gible nodded and while he was hurt, he prepared the atatck, forming the small orb of fire in his mouth and turning it bigger with yellow sparks before releasing it towards the Venipede. Even before the previous attack hit, Gible formed another Dragon Rage and shot it, continuing the process several times. Kaiser smiled, he knew that in his condition Gible's aim was not the best and the repeated Dragon Rages, even if they did not hit Venipede, would hit the ground, leaving a hole filled ground for the pokemon's Rollout not to be very accurate. When the large cloud of dust dissipated, Kaiser could see his idea had worked, the ground was filled with craters, making it almost impossible to move around without falling in one of them. "Gible, prepare another Dragon Rage and when Venipede comes at you, shoot it against it" the trainer called, he had not seen if Venipede had been hit, and if it how bad it was, but he wanted Gible to be prepared to counter it if the pokemon decided to attack once more, he didn't want Gible to loose this battle, and if he fainted, he would at least have theVenipede faint with him.

Skorupi stopped moving to shield herself with her claws. The leaves made contact and knocked her backward, but she stayed standing - then the tackle hit and she was nearly knocked onto her back. "It's okay, you're close now!" Dana shouted. "Follow it up with Knock Off!" Supporting herself with one claw, she swiped viciously at Chikorita with the other. Spinda was feeling pretty good about himself so far, and continued the Uproar attack, tottering closer to the Minccino (whose nickname was apparently Princess - that was adorable). Dana clenched his fists anxiously. The Minccino had tried to use helping hand earlier. It could be dangerous if it recovered and succeeded. Maybe he would have to shift the focus onto keeping her distracted.

"Again!" Vulpix cried panting as she found the new temporary tattoos in her fur and the bruises that came with them.

Vulpix was definitely showing signs of her inexperience at battling. After only a few moves she was already panting and slowing down. Emilia had to end this battle soon but how, the Bellsprout kept weakening her attacks even if Drought gave fire moves a boost in strength. Though if they could somehow stop the pokemon from doing so, say by distracting its attention somewhere else then maybe a well place ember straight to its body would be enough. The battle field was mostly dried grass with dirt patches randomly spread out so it could at lest burn enough to confuse and distract the Bellsprout.

"Opal use your Ember to ignite the grass around Bellsprout then use Ember again to attack it directly" Emilia ordered hoping her plan would work before Opal crashed from exhaustion and pain.

While initially Florent thought to focus both his pokemons' attention on Skorupi to take it out first because of its dangerous typing, the pokemon hadn't shown any sign of knowing any bug moves yet. But, he realized that he underestimated Spinda's power. Uproar made Minccino refuse to do anything, and that repeated noise, for the lack of a better word, was simply awful. Its unpredictable movements were unpredictable, and the trainer felt like a Slowpoke trying to gamble.

Between one of the panda's yells, Florent gave his orders. "Go for Spinda! Razor Leaf and Pound!"

Chikorita, who was attempting to soften Skorupi's blows with its leaf, dug its feet into the ground. It looked like it was going to shoot leaves at Skorupi, but instead, the pokemon threw a wide barrage of leaves at Spinda. Meanwhile, Minccino took the chance to jump into the air, over the Razor Leaves, and strike with a glowing punch from above.

Bellsprout looked angry at the fox, swinging its vines to prepare to attack her again, but as the pokemon rose them, the fox set on fire the grass surrounding it. Bellsprout stopped in mid air, yes it was angry, but it was not letting the lants around it to burn only because it was angered. The bell shaped pokemn started to pound the ground, trying to stop the fire, only Burning its vines as it did. Bellsproutwas too focused on stopping the fire it didn't notice the second Ember coming it way. The Grass pokemon let out a cry of pain as it felt its body ablaze. Bellsprout used its vines ti whip fox one last time before it succumbed to the Burn and weakness, it had been defeated. Though there was still the problem of the fire spreading around.

Icarus stuck out a hand and signaled for Grim to stop. He walked closer to the weakened pokemon. "I'm sorry about that, We needed to train Grim."
