So every time I try to repair, it just gets stuck loading on the same page and never repairs. Any solutions?

Tried hitting myself. You get 0 exp and 1 damage. Avoid at all costs. (My sacrifice has been for the common good! *dun dun dun*)

And do the 'higher damage' throwable things give more experience? So throwing loose snow gives you 1 exp, does packed snow give you 2? And does an icicle give you 4 or 5?

Yes, loose snow gives you 1 EXP, packed snow gives 2, and throwing an icicle gets you 5.

That should make icicles more economic for the ones that throw them then. Does anyone know whether they can take down structures out in one go too?

I repaired my fort at 3/15 or 4/15 (can't remember which) and it cost me 3 snowballs @_@

Not sure why, but the repair costs 2 snowballs now. o.o Maybe it's the Small Ice Keep? Maybe it's the 20+ level?

 

Also, the badge is still bronze at level 18.  I need one more exp for 19 so I can't confirm, can anyone else?

Definitely at level 19. My sister's at that level and she has a silver badge.

Hmmm... mine cost me 2 and my fort's maximum HP is 10. So, possibly, it's something like this:

 

X/10 - 2 snowballs

X/15 - 3 snowballs

 

Not sure. :/

I'm level 7 and I have the packed snow options now.

I did not check if I did or not for levels 2-6. If I had to guess I'd say they unlock at 5, though...

 

But they're unlocked by the time you get to 7. So that should help.

I'm still at HP 9 and it still costs me 1 I think. Basically to summarise suggestions.

Keep your forts low-health. Try hitting forts at 1 HP. (3 exp gained) Posting in the "war" threads helps, and if you can throw ice, as it gives one extra exp for 4 snowballs.

Strange, that has only happened to me when I don't have enough snowballs. :/

The walls, etc., seem to be introduced when you have enough snow to buy them.

In order to understand better how the repair costs are evolving, please note the following information:

• The current level of your snow fort
• Its current HP and max HP (e.g. 15/20)
• How much it costs to repair it

It should not take too long to collect enough data to be able to understand how this works...

 

And again, if you attack my fort and allow me to gain more exp, I will be able to update this FAQ faster.

Nope. I can't buy a lot of the structures but they still showed up.

Also, we get new structures in sets. Right now the last one that shows up for me is the "Small IceKeep".

For me, it's been:

1+/10 = 1 snowball

0/10 = 2 snowballs

Hmm...

 

0/10 - 2 snowball

0/15 - 4 snowballs (just a theory..?)

1+/10 - 1 snowball (I have no idea why mine requires 2. o.o Possibly the Small Ice Keep, or my being level 20+)

1+/15 - 3 snowballs

Yep. And you can't buy anything if your HP isn't completely full. So it's better to get everything after a repair.

 

EDIT: Level 19 DOES NOT GET YOU A SILVER BADGE. De-bunked. Or something's wrong with my page.

They are grayed out when you don't have the money for them, after their first appearance.

 

ETA: And maybe my theory is wrong. Oh well!

Also, I think it would be best not to provide the current HP (unless 0 or a few points away from maximum), as several members may try to completely demolish another's fort.

Yeah, your max HP is higher than mine yet the cost is smaller. It must be the fort level. o.o
