Ri sighed disappointingly. "Hmmm...Why did you have to pay them, Navir? I could've eaten them!" He said. He shrugged off and sat with Lee. Ri looked at him. He was waiting for the moment when Lee pranks him. He wondered how he was going to be silently humiliated today by him. "Now that I think about it, I'm hungry..." He said.

 

Lee smiled. His glasses sparkled as he planned out his "fun" ideas. He looked at Ri. He shouldn't prank him just yet though...He needed more time. Lee stared at the sky, daydreaming his humiliation for Ri.

Columbine looked up at him. She stood up and hugged him. She shivered slightly and tears ran from her closed eyes. Mangos. Those are my favorite fruits. I eat mostly fruits, nuts, and whatever vegetable I can find.

Navir seemed shocked a bit but hugged back after ward, smiling as he usually does "Well then I think I saw some mangos not far from here, if you want to come along and get them with me" he turned to the two others, Ri and Lee, (Teehee Ri and Lee) "Feel free to eat anything as long as it isn't me or the young one here" he said to Ri as he pointed to the food of fish and deer, as he got up and walked to the edge of the clearing to the forest "would you like to come along?" he said as he turned to columbine.

Columbine nodded. This motion blew her blue hair in her face. She took hesitated steps toward Navir and finally gained confidence in walking like a human. She ran to him and placed her hand in the crook of his arm as she had seen most ladies do with their male escorts. "Yes, let's go." she turned to Ri, "I will play tag with you after breakfast!" she called.

Ri tilted his head. Was he...in a group now? Ri looked at Lee. He could tell he was planning something. "...I don't like you." He said blankly.

 

"Ri - Lee?" He punned. Lee got up and started to follow Navir. He made a more friendly smile. "Lets go!~" He said to Ri.

Navir smiled down to the young dragon who.. is a human now. "You know you can be a dragon again now" he then turned to the two who were following him "I am just getting some food for the dragon here. You two can stay if you want, there is no need for you to tag along. I know one of you might get bored along the way and the other I don't like right now." he said to the two then he looked back to Columbine, "do you want them to tag along?" he asked her "After all this small little trip is for you, so you should say what can come along and what can stay" he said to her

Columbine smiled. "Ri can come if he wants. I don't know Lee.....and he does make me anxious." she looked over to the other two. The TWENTY year old dragoness shrugged. "Ri, why does mine running away bother thee? Oops....that's archaic. I mean, why did it bother you that I ran off?" she asked the little ten year old.

Navir smiled as they came to a mango tree not to far off from the lake and he cracked his knuckles as he sat down his large satchel which he opened at the bottom of the tree, it was mostly empty other then a few cases which were locked and smiled to the tree "This should do it" he said as he began quickly plucking ripe mangos from the tree and putting them in the large satchel until it was nearly full and picked it up offering the mangos to Columbine. "I think these should be MORE then enough... unless you want me to get more that is" he asked her as he held out the current mangos to her

Columbine clapped in delight. "Fresh mangos!" she said in a joyful tone she gingerly took one and tasted it. "Oh my!" she exclaimed when she took the bite. "Try one!" she said inviting Nevir. She suddenly recalled what he had said earlier. "Think I'm cute hey?" she walked away and went to a couple of other trees. She glanced at the lake and smiled. In a series of events, she morphed to a dragon and plunged into the lake.

Navir took the satchel up and put the top over it and walked with her to the lake, which is where all his stuff is after all and shrugged "Well yes, you are an adorable little dragon and I would talk about your human form but that would be flirting and I don't flirt unless I know the person likes me back. so only one yes" he said as he went to put the satchel of mangos back with the rest of the stuff in the small little camp they made. with all the rest of the food. smiling looking to the large haul they have of fish and other food. "Well this is a lot of stuff we have isn't it!" he said aloud.

((Sorry for the holdup. I was tired after a long and really ty day last night and I must have dozed off early.))

 

Yooou, what? -Ashur couldn't believe it when he heard it.

How can you not change back? Ofcourse you can! I mean, you already did the harder part, surely the reverse would be easier.

Now that was quite the predicament... Being stuck in something else's skin would indeed have been a nightmare situation.

Well, honestly, when Varaug and I were still living at grounds, our last home, we used shapeshifting to... how should I put this... dispose of buildups of unwanted guests. -he explained, referring to all the human settlements they'd infiltrated and planted explosives in so as to deter them from wanting to take the castle. In small numbers, humans were pushovers, but when a small army had attacked them, with intent to raid the castle for treasure and materials, they'd lost two fully grown dragons, out of the total of ten or so that lived there at the time.

 

Just, keep your head cool and try again and again until you shift back, I guess. -he shrugged.

Fair enough. -he shrugged, both glad and annoyed about the complication that had just been made clear to him.

Approaching the village, Dragroot heard someone coughing I thought this town was abandoned... nevrmind, perhaps i'll find something to kill, Popping her head up, she noticed the same human lady she had seen a while ago. She didn't recognise any of the others though. She surfaced and watched them from the side. She opened one of her flowers, and started to fold the petals one by one. "Kill, don't kill, kill..." she muttered

Alielel just got up and walked away. She walked calmly up the stairs and didn't say a word to anyone. Instead she wondered around the building trying to clear her head again. She sighed. It was no use. That was when she came to a room with a piano. One of the legs were broken, the top was cracked and keyboard in fine shape. She states at it for a long while before she ran over to it.

 

Columbine swam deeper in the lake. She touched the bottom and walked along it. She could stay like this for days if she chose to. It was there that she started to laugh at Navir's comment. She was only teasing him! At least he was where near her laughing.

Navir shrugged and looked to the satchel full of mangos for a while before turning to the lake and shouting to it so Columibne can hear "Do you want anything other then just mangos?!!" he shouted as he scanned the water for her trying to hear or see for a response. thinking that a single person, let alone a dragon, can just survive off of mangos. he also started to pack up some let over fish and deer for the other two. as well as him self. wondering what crazy thing will happen next or what type of strange person they will come across next.

Columbine shot out of the water. "Cashews would be nice." she said shaking the water from her scales. She winced and placed her paw over the wound on her cheek. Unlike all other dragons, she couldn't heal herself. "Why are you worried about my well-being? You didn't have to buy me from those traders." she said. Columbine ran up to him and climbed to his shoulder. She perched there like a parrot.

Navir nodded and mumbled to him self "Cashews? where are they grown?" as she perched on his shoulder he smiled and said to her "Well someone had to, seeing as one of them made the traders make you morph and the other I think you ran away from.. I thought you needed some help" he said then noticed her cut and placed his thumb on it, a warm and soothing feeling emiting from it then when he removed his thumb the cut should have healed "Well is your cut ok now?"

 

(I got to go for the day, sorry everyone)

"Bah. There's always something up with my throat. As those lots of years passed, my health condition has only deteriorated. And to be honest, I expect it to get a lot worse from here on." Lucina grumbled as she answered Varaug's question, while still keeping her eyes on the book. She coughed and wheezed a little more before clearing up her throat. "I've been dealing with this for a while already. At least my back isn't acting up right now..." the sorceress rambled.

Columbine winced. "No." she sighed. "All dragons have poisonous blood. It's poisonous when consumed. Anyway, it is like that because dragon blood is self healing. I have a disorder. This disorder prevents me from healing myself and my blood is not poisonous. Therefore, my cut has to heal on it's own." she looked down at the ground. "Cashews aren't grown out here. That nut is rare and hard to find. I eat mostly acorn nuts." she said gently. "I ran from Ri because I read his mind. He was thinking about eating me. It was a mistake and I won't run from him again." she glanced at the ten year old boy and yawned. "I owe him a tag game anyway."

 

Alielel walked closer to the piano. She held her fingers above the keys. Where did she get any of this knowledge from? She started to play a melody. This melody just seemed to sound right. She didn't know that it was a wide known melody.

Navir sighed sadly "Well I have a few potions that aren't magic so they should help you heal if you want.. as well as other ones for.. other affects." He said shrugging and sighs a bit sadly as he walked around the lake "Well then, mind if I ask what breed of dragon you are? sorry if I am prying or offending. I don't mean to" He said as he looked around the lake looking for any certain types of fish "I also tend to the 'well being' of dragons quite often. Since the first one I met needed help, I just trained in healing and taking care of dragons after I was done healing her."

Columbine nearly died laughing. "I'm not easily offended. I don't mind questions. The cut does pain me and I know I'm missing scales there. Anyway, I'm a Soulpeace. I'm a rare breed around here." she gazed at him curiously. "What are if you don't mine me asking?"

Columbine thought for a moment. Why are you alone? I mean, most humans your age have parents that hardly leave their side. So what about yours? Also, why do you eat others? Do you do it because you are alone? Columbine knew she was bombarding him with questions, but she wanted to know more about the kid.

 

This was a few pages ago. If she had mind reading skills, why couldn't she read his mind about his past?))

Navir smiled as he walked to his satchel, and crouched but made sure that columbine wouldn't fall off his shoulder and removed the mangos taking out a small wooden locked box, which is craved intricately. "Oh, I am a elf, a high elf to be correct. the tallest of my race." He said as he smiled when he opened the lock on the box and opened the lid looking at multiple vials or flasks full of different colored liquid. "So what special abilities does a soulpeace dragon has. I know there are 'special' traits or sometimes powers for certain dragons and dragon breeds.. so what is yours?"
