You can give back either kind of metallic dragon; it doesn't have to be the same type as the egg you received.

Hi, I posted under the 'giving back to the thread' banner, but I think it might have been confused with the 'gifting' banner because it shows that I still have to give back to the thread, and my gifted metallic count is one more than it should be.
