Posted July 2, 2016 (edited) Both versions are wrong - I was there and have chatlogs as proof. The owner attempted to zombify it. First they zombied a Neglected, then they went for the Holly. From their POV, the Holly actually wasn't a huge loss - Santa was a 2g and they owned the CB. But it caused one heck of a dramastorm across several chats. ? Santa is a CB. Posted July 2, 2016 I think AGYK is confusing two different Hollies with each other. Ha-Ki was talking about rumors regarding the death of the CB Holly, Santa (who died in Jan, not Oct and is definitely CB, not 2G), which those chatlogs don't refer to. About why the Holly was killed, I've heard different versions, one being that it was killed so the name would only be available later and others would have to stalk it to reclaim the name, and the other version being it was just for the sake of saying "I killed Santa". What a waste... The first version is true, although it doesn't mean he might not also have thought getting to say "I killed Santa" was cool. I was actually there when he explained that he wanted everyone to have a fair chance at the name. Posted July 3, 2016 I've caught, incuhatched and regifted via forums a dozen dragons from the AP over the past few days, and many of them were magi, a few purple and pinks that were nice 2Gs that I was able to regift to many happy people so thanks for breeding nice BSAs to the AP that were able to be regifted! Thanks, I don't get a chance to breed my Cassies nearly enough ( I super love them though I know not quite as much as you do because you collect them so much more!!) and Vhale's Breeding Raffle got me to breed some stuff I haven't normally dusted off in a bit and it was fun. I really like the Cassies x Daydreams cuz of how their tales loop around (and just cuz) and they look really really really nice with the Antareans and you get that nifty irony combo like a lot of people do with the Magi. I also really like the Volcano Pyropes too! I imagine you are gonna get a lot of lower times and Incuhatchable Cassies and Other Breeds over the previous past days and coming days....
