I had a massive grinning squeeing reaction to the news.  I CANNOT WAIT FOR THEM.  I NEED THEM IN MY LIFE LIKE RIGHT NOW.

This is amazing news! Far better than what I had been hoping for. I hope it's a true sequel instead of just using the BW game format with just a few changes.

I hope it's something I can send my monster pokemon to. Nothing could stop my Garchomp and her Dragon Rush. >

 

White all the way for me. Zekrom/nature theme has me won over.

yeah that sounds right. I've met her a bunch... she does nothing pretty much other than confuse me the first time I saw her.

 

Legend says she fell to her death after playing with (insert pokemon's name I forgot) and has haunted that bridge eversince.

 

Maybe in the sequels they'll do something with her??

I have Pokemon White and im battling the Elite Four now... But I can only beat 2 of them! And no Pokemon Center in between so you just gotta stock up on Hyper Potions and Revives/Max Revives but they cost LOADS! Caitlin and Shauntal are unbeatable since I specialise in fighting types ...

Thanks for the offer but my connection is a bit poopy but I'll try the offer! I got a Denio that im trying to evolve but they only evolve around level 50! Hey anyone noticed that Keldeo is now an offical Pokemon! I can't wait till the 15 movie comes in English!

Deino, huh? They evolve into Zweilous somewhere in the 50's, but they hit the final stage at lv. 64. If you want, you can have the spare I have. It's got some moves I taught with TMs, but otherwise, it's nothing special.

Thanks! Shouldn't Deino be able to learn Draco Meteor? Does it depend on which game you have? Iris says Draco Meteor is the most powerful Dragon type move with 140 base power. Yet Roar of Time is a Dragon type move with a 150 base power!

Deino is able to learn Draco Meteor, but you have to have really high friendship with Deino in order for it to be taught to him. (You have to bring him/her to Iris's/the other gym leader's house in Opeloid (or whatever it is) City.

 

Roar of Time is only ever available legally for Dialga, so it's not really counted as a move that any other pokemon could learn. That's why Draco Meteor is considered the most powerful Dragon-type move.

I should be able to give mine Draco Meteor. I raised her from the low 30's, no Rare Candies or Day Care used. Took a while, though. I ran through all the sport buildings, and then through the Elite Four twice. My own fault for having three pokemon holding Exp. Share, though.

 

Anyone ever experience that feeling when you find this awesome strategy, but then realize that one of the two pokemon involved with it will probably faint before you can even set it up? I know I did with this Dream World Stantler. It had Sap Sipper and Skill Swap, which I thought of using in conjunction with a Swampert. Needless to say, I don't think Stantler would last too long.

Yes. I had a Purugly moveset I worked on that attempted to bypass the offenses. Scrapped it when I just got too lazy to test it. Don't remember it now, though. Then there's the brilliant Trick Room/Power Trick Shuckle (TR on a partner). But one opening and it's dead after Power trick... Haven't tried that one yet, either. Speaking of Trick room, however, you could try that wit the Swampert/Stantler strategy. I know from experience Swampert is a royal pain to deal with.

 

Confuse ray Prankster Murkrow actually works much better than expected, however. Confuse Ray/Fly/Protect/Toxic@Eviolite, Neutral nature. She fairs much better than she should, especially paired with a more threatening looking partner in doubles. Opponent attacks the "threat", leaving Murkrow free to set up her torture devices.

Trick room, huh? I'll see if it can learn that. It'd supplement my brother's Swampert wonderfully. The Swampert has a neutral nature, and we gave it the moveset Hammer Arm, Avalanche, Earthquake, and Muddy Water. Hammer Arm seems to play into that TOO well.

 

I have a Dream World Honchkrow. It used to be a Murkrow, but then I got the idea of evolving it. Took me a while to realize it lost Prankster and gained Moxie. At least I have an oddly swift Gardevoir with Hypnosis to support it.[/color]

Well, Stantler can learn it via TM. And a focus band to ensire it lives at least one turn wouldn't hurt either.

 

And sweet mother of Arceus, it get's Hammer arm now?! I hated dealing with my mom's Blizzard/Surf/Earthquake one back in Emerald. Now it has a deadly fighting move, too. Swampert has officially become my eternal nemesis of battle. Maybe I should sick Murkrow on it. *cue epic FAIL as Confuse ray misses/doesn't work*

 

On the topic of battling, anyone use their shinies in random Wi-Fi matches? I probably would if I actually raised them. Green Salamence would be FTW. Sad thing is I can get that. But I'm not sure I want to transfer my bagon. Or evolve her, for that matter.

On the topic of Swampert - it's had that move since Diamond/Pearl/Platinum for its moveset. I just loved teaching it Avalanche in HeartGold/SoulSilver. It makes a wonderful egg move for Mudkip.

 

On the topic of shinies - I use my shiny Gyarados on occasion. She's below lv. 50, so she gets beaten rather quickly at times. I adore using my shiny Krookodile, though. With her Moxie, she's a force. I'd use my shiny Floatzel, but he's just not high enough in level, and the shiny Gliscor I just don't care to use.

On the topic of shinies- I've used a couple of my shinies in battles, but I haven't tried out random wifi matches yet. My shiny Rapidash does a great job, as does shiny Manectric and shiny Moltres. Shiny Charizard is killer, but she's a hack. cB At least I gave her moves that could be seen used by a charizard generally (not that they could ever be actually learned in the game...), and not something silly like Spacial Rend. x3

Japan is getting a special Shiny Rayquaza event to tie in with the release of that spin off game.

Ooooh, nice! It's one of mine too, so much I tried getting a shiny Rayquaza on Ruby, but I gave up after a few days.

 

We probably won't get it, but still.... *grabby hands* Japan should really learn to share.

There is some hope for getting those particular events though.

 

 

The movie Zekrom/Reshiram is being released for english regions. It's level 100 though so it's mostly just for looks but still, since it was incorporated with a movie event in Japan maybe that means we can get some other event-ish pokemon.

 

(I really want a legit shiny rayquaza though!)
