What is/are your favorite book(s)?

Recommended Posts

Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan is definitely my favourite book. I just reread it the other day (I've been reading a lot lately to deal with my lack of computer...) and after I finished my thoughts were 'I love this book. I think it's my favourite.' and after I finished Looking for Alaska (also by John Green) yesterday morning, I still liked WG,WG more, though Alaska is such a damn good book, too.

The Ender's Game series by Orson Scott Card is really amazing.

The Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer is another well-known one that I love.

Mercedes Lackey has a great series about dragons called The Dragon Jousters.

Another great dragon series is the Temeraire series by Naomi Novik.

As for individual books, I've always been a huge fan of dystopian novels like Orwell's Nineteen-Eighty Four and Huxley's Brave New World.

And more! biggrin.gif

laugh.gif Lawl.

Who's your favourite character? Mine is The Gunner. Forever and always. Walking statues FTW!

Oh, and who else has read The Kingkiller Chronicles? My local library has The Name Of The Wind but no Wise Man's Fear. Kvothe gives off strong Gary Stu vibes but he's still enjoyable to read and I admire the amount of work Rothfuss has put into the trilogy.

There's a really good book called Deficiency, written by Andrew Neiderman.

It's a bit dull if you're not into extremely descriptive writing and fancy words, but I happen to be. It's got quite a few interesting twists in the plot.

House of night is a fun series, though it's offensive how much freakin WICCA they put in their books.(NOTE: I am pagan, that's why I'm offended) I mean, really, why base your vampire magic on wicca? It's like making a book where superpowers come from Jesus or something.
