XoXSadine Leila PiromaneXoX

╚═════════════════════════════════════╝

XoXoXoXo You can’t tame this wild heart of mine.XoXoXoXo

Gender: Female

Birthday: August 8th, 1993

Age: Sixteen

Court: Summer Court

Appearance: With her bright, orange-brown hair and golden skin, a gift from her Greek ancestors, Sadine Leila Piromane could easily be described as striking. She stands taller than the average girl, at 5’7’’, and is thin and willowy, the perfect image of the dancer that she is. She has barely any curves to her slim shape, but such a thing only adds to flow of her motions. Even when she is not dancing, there is a sort of graceful delicateness to her footwork that makes it seem as if she is gliding effortlessly across the floor. Such a thing should hardly be surprising, though; after all, it is the blood of the IncendiaPresul that flows latent in her veins alongside that of the Hellenes.

Strangely enough, the frigidness of each winter seems to bring about a frightful change to her appearance, making the inheritances of her ancestors dull and lackluster. Her tan is still that lovely golden shade, but it is so pale in the wintertime that it is hardly noticeable. Her chest-length hair hangs limp over her shoulders, no matter how hard she tries to tease it, and seems more brown than orange. Her eyes also lose their brilliant colour, dimming to a saturnine gold that looks almost black.

But when summer begins to push away the cold breath of winter, lo and behold! Sadine seems to radiate with the very changes of the seasons, as if her body was celebrating the arrival of summer. Her golden tan darkens into a beautiful shade that accents her high cheekbones and finely-shaped eyebrows. But it is her eyes and her hair that become the most vibrant of her features. Her eyes become dark golden, like pools of melted gold. People everywhere have marveled at the strangeness of her golden eyes—eyes she received from her Summer blood. Her hair brightens, shedding away much of its brown shade to reveal the brilliant red. It curls itself into wavy locks; oftentimes her hair seems to have a life of its own, like the dancing tongues of fire that Sadine had always been drawn to.

Personality: Sadine is what you could call “impetuous fire.” Her lack of patience is perhaps her biggest flaw. Ever the impatient one, she absolutely refuses to have to wait for something. Answers, decisions, results, everything, she must have immediately. There is perhaps no person who can more quickly get on her nerves than the hesitant, indecisive one. She hates it when people stutter and stammer. It’s one thing, of course, to stutter because of some sort of medical problem, but stuttering simply out of nervousness really ticks her off.

It’s perhaps this impatience that fuels her impulsiveness. She is rash, always acting on impulse, never giving herself time to properly think things through. Consequently, she’s no stranger to the words, “What were you thinking?” But perhaps, such a quality has its pros. Maybe it’s a result of years of doing stupid things and facing the consequences, but now Sadine can simply pass her eyes over a situation and come up with a solution with the snap of a finger. She’s a fast and clever thinker, in other words. It shouldn’t surprise you, then, that she also has a quick tongue, so sharp it could slice through one’s ears. The combination of brashness and quick tongue has lead Sadine into a number of petty quarrels. She’ll be proud to say that she’s won the good majority of them.

This impatience doesn’t qualify for every aspect of her life, however. When she is dancing or practicing Shito-ryu, a form of karate, she seems to have all the patience in the world. Her passion, which comes strongest during the summer just as her short temper comes stronger in the midst of winter, sweeps away all her irritability. She respects all who practice a trade or art with fervency.

Her passion doesn’t always lead to good things; in fact it’s the reason why she’s practically never lost an argument. She’ll argue you into the ground. Even if she was wrong, her pride and tenacity would never allow her step down and admit her faults; instead, she would stick to her beliefs through and through.

Due to her upbringing, Sadine can be rather judgmental, being quick to judge others on a first impression. However, she is typically a good and fair judge of character. She knows who is likely to be the trustworthy person, and who to be the eventual backstabber. She wouldn’t ridicule someone for the way they appear or for their attire; she’s just not that type of person.

History: Sadine is a California girl. She lived for the most of childhood in Newport Beach, California, where the vast majority of her neighbors and classmates, if not all of them, hailed from wealthy families. Sadine was no different.

As a child, and the only child of the Piromane family at that, she was the apple of her parents’ eyes. Or at least when they were home. They were rarely at home, always elsewhere on some sort of business trip or another. Sadine spent most of her time in the company of the maids that took care of the mansion she resided in. It’s not to say that she didn’t have some fond memories of her parents. She remembered the picnics she had been taken to on those beautiful California days, when the sun was bright but not burning, the sky was blue and cheerful, the wind but a light breeze in her hair. The picnics and the other little ventures had been the highlights of her childhood. Her parents had given her the nickname “Sadie” on one of those mini trips, and it just stuck from then on.

The California weather toned down Sadine’s rashness and irritability many notches. Even on those blazing hot days when everyone else was wilting under the sun, Sadine was as unaffected as ever. She was even more cheerful, in fact, almost completely oblivious to the moans and groans of her classmates as they complained about the unbearable heat. Winters in California were pretty cold, especially with the weather going out of whack, but they were still better than at other places, where snow laid siege to the land every coming of winter. The frigid days in California were usually heated up pretty quickly by Sadine’s fiery temper.

Beginning at age five, Sadine had begun dancing, learning all sorts of styles, and before long, she realized that dancing was her absolutely passion. She focused on ballet for the most part, but she was capable of dancing a great variety of styles as well, from the formal waltz and ballroom to the Latin Mambo and Tango. It shocked her tutors how quickly she took to dancing. She is a natural, they had said, even more so. She has dancing in her blood, in her veins. No one—not her, not her tutors, not her parents, nor anyone else who had heard those words—realized how true those words were.

At the age of seven, Shito-ryu was added to Sadine’s list of passions. Her parents, almost always absent from the home, had feared for her safety and eventually come up with the solution of having her study martial arts. At first, Sadine had taken it grudgingly; dancing was her only passion, she thought. But as time went on and she realized Shito-ryu was in many ways just like dancing, she gradually warmed up to it and eventually developed a fiery passion for it as well. Her family’s wealth, like an endless stream of money, fueled her current passions and unwittingly also encouraged her impatient nature. Over the years, as a result of her unrelenting passion, her dancing earned national renown, while, in terms of Shito-ryu, she was able to emerge the victor in most of her sparring competitions.

At school, Sadine easily made it into the “popular” crowd, partly (or maybe wholly) with the help of her parents’ money. Even in a society of rich people, Sadine’s family still stood somewhere near the top. It also helped that she was an extremely attractive girl, one that drew the attention of many guys, in spite of her lack of curves. It did fuel several jealousies, but after two of the girls who had harboured such feelings picked a fight with Sadine—dear, dear Sadine who was armed with her Shito-ryu—and were consequently beaten the crap out of, the entire campus knew better than to mess with Sadine Piromane. Of course, she was reprimanded much later at home by her parents, who claimed that such unladylike behavior from her was going to tarnish the family name.

When the attacks and mysterious disappearances began and grew more frequent in number, her parents feared that even her skill with Shito-ryu would not be able to keep her safe. After all, when martial arts is pitted against guns, the guns typically end up winning, as lame as it sounds. The fact that they were one of the richest folks in richville didn’t help to soothe their souls any bit. They knew their wealth made Sadine an even likelier target, and it didn’t take long before they packed their bags and moved to New York City. They figured in a totally new city where no one knew who they were or how rich they were in actuality, Sadine would simply blend in with the crowd—and a rather giant crowd at that. They chose a penthouse apartment near Central Park as their home, making sure not to flaunt their wealth or make it obvious in any way. They didn’t sell their house back in Newport Beach, though; once the disappearances came to a complete halt, they planned on moving back, and if they didn't, well then, it was going to be their summerhouse from then on.

Weaknesses:

↪ Sadine is impatient. She can’t wait for anything, with the exception of learning dancing or martial arts or anything else that can inflame her passions. That’s a warning to all those indecisive people out there who can’t get an answer off the tips of their tongues immediately.

↪ She’s stubborn and obstinate, refusing to accept that she’s wrong until it’s absolutely hopeless for her to keep fighting on. Even then, her acceptance would be more than grudging.

↪ She’s rash. She’ll often rush into a situation without a thought as to how she’ll make it out.

↪ Like the stereotypical rich kids, Sadine has been spoiled over the top by her parents’ wealth. She’s used to getting her way, thanks to her overindulgent parents who have always given her what she has wanted.

↪ All in all, she’s easily irritated, especially in the winter. Maybe she’s even the most irritable person in the world.

Skills:

↪ Sadine, no matter how irritated she may become, will always persevere and work to the finish of any task. She doesn’t believe in giving up, no matter how hard things may get. After all, if she had given up, how could she have ever accomplished all the things that she managed to accomplish to this day?

↪ She is blessed with absolute grace, wonderful reflexes, balance, and flexibility, all of the things needed to become a professional dancer.

↪ Her rashness has given her the ability to make snap decisions even with only a mere glance of the situation.

↪ She’s trained in Shito-ryu, a style of martial arts that combines power, grace, and defense of many martial arts techniques into one style.

Special Abilities: Sadine’s tutors had often said of her, “She has dancing in her blood, in her veins.” They couldn’t have been more correct. Sadine is as much a descendant of the IncendiaPresul, a breed of Summer fey, as she is of the Greeks. It is from them that she derives her natural dancing talents and strange fascination of fire, as well as her love for the heat. She is able to dance within the flames, merging with them and manipulating their movements. Temperatures seem to rise when she is angered.

It's Kathy, Manga. XD Not Katie. Otherwise, your summary looks good.

I'll have Gordon's profile and blurb thing up by the end of the week. I won't be changing much of... anything... because I like Gordon the way he is. Maybe just some sentence structure adjustments and the like. In any case, I'm pretty excited to start actually RPing again. o3o

Which reminds me about the character profile, if I'm too lazy (which I am, coupled with the fact I don't have much time these days) to make a new species, can I just choose one from the list that's already there to grant him his powers?

Assuming of course that they're the proper courts.

Damn, I've missed a lot.

College is stressful. Finals are coming up soon. If I die, I will try to at least let you guys know first.

In the meantime, I have finally gotten around to starting on my rewrites of Concord and Sen's profiles, so with luck, those should be up within a week or so. -crosses fingers- I'm so sorry guys--If I'm being ridiculous, I totally understand if I need to be kicked out.

Also, Murder, go ahead.. Sorry I failed out on you... so sorry.

On a plus side, I'm no longer sick. :]

I'll get started on it soon enough, I'm just up to my eyeballs in work.

Whoops. x3 Thanks, Lily. I remember thinking while I was typing that, I'm pretty sure her name's not Katie. But it starts with a "Ka" and ends with "-ie," so it can't be anything else. /facepalm I think it's because I just finished reading A Tree Grows in Brooklyn when I wrote that.

I don't mind, Murder. I just realized right now how much more work I stacked on top of you. I'm sorry. x3

You don't have to write a rewrite, Nessie! And besides, you already revamped Sen's profile, so what else is there to change? I would never kick you out. It's not like I've been very active lately either.

Dash, you make me feel bad. D: But I guess it's a good thing that we'll get one last post from you. And who knows? Maybe you'll get your muse for them back. ;D

Anyways, my spring break is next week, but I've got a bunch of homework and studying to do, unfortunately. I probably won't be very active then, either. /sighs I can't wait till May 12th.

Sorry about Sadine's post, by the way! (Or at least when I put it up). Sadine might seem a bit out of character. I haven't written for this rp for awhile, and it seems sort of weird to do so.

♥♥♥ Gordon White ♥♥♥

╚════════════════════════════════╝

♪ Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow ♫

Gender: Male

Birthday: December 21, 1993

Age: Sixteen

Court: Winter Court

Appearance: Gordon is somewhat tall, but not overly so, standing at a height of five feet and nine inches. He has the long and lean limbs of a practiced athlete, with a sturdy and fit body. His hair is maybe a few inches long, about ear-length, which is just long enough to be considered shaggy but not too girly. It's a habit of his to sweep it back behind his ears or to the side of his head. One might catch him playing with his hair or perfecting his appearance in the mirror, which is prominent of the more conceited and narcissistic side of his nature.

He is perhaps what one can consider a “pretty boy”. Gordon has perfect features that are very much enviable and attracted a lot of attention at his school. His eyes are as blue as the ocean on a sunny day, sometimes turning turquoise or slightly green, as real ocean water would. These mesmerizing orbs are paired with double eyelids that flutter in a wonderful way when he does one of his playboy winks. His nose is set straight and at a perfect proportion with his thin, red lips. Gordon has a defined jaw line that shapes his masculine face, and his cute, genuine smile that he would show once in a while is something that girls say they would “die for”. As for clothing, he's trendy and keeps himself with the “in” group. He always has what’s considered most popular, from the newest style, to the freshest cut, to the brightest colors, to the most expensive brand names.

Before the arrival of Midsummer's Eve, Gordon was blonde, tan, and slender. Since Midsummer's Eve, his hair and skin have turned a shockingly bright white, and his eyes a grayish blue. He looks a bit like a ghost, if seen from afar and in the dark, since the whiteness of his skin gives off a glimmering effect.

Personality: At only an age of sixteen, Gordon is still very youthful. Like any other teenager – or any other person, for that matter, – he tends to think he knows everything. He's lucky enough, though, in the way that he can blame his naiveté on his youth and still get away with it. Due to this, he's no stranger to foot-in-mouth experiences, but they never slow him down or shrink his big head and ego. Sometimes he says the wrong thing and it makes him appear like an idiot, but he takes it all in stride, always confident about himself.

Gordon is packed with mischievous energy, being springy and swift. He's always been an athlete, playing any sport he fancies, so long as it involves lots of physical activities. He might not always admit it, but he's a dancer, and a very good one at that. He swims, he runs, and he loves playing sports like basketball and soccer. He's practically an adrenaline-junkie with little regard for things like reading or self-reflection.

Gordon has a positive view on life, and he likes to add humor to his daily existence. He is the son of a doctor, and has grown up in a privileged neighborhood in New York City. He's a city-slicker, trained to expect the unexpected by the City that Never Sleeps. Fun, for him, is what life is all about. He likes to laugh, even at himself. Adventure is his middle name, and he's not afraid of getting in some trouble if getting out of it looks like it might be a good challenge. Competition is his other middle name. He's not just an athlete, he's a winner. When he doesn't win – on those rare occasions, as he'd like to think – it can devastate him, but he's loathe to show it. Beneath his airy exterior, Gordon is actually very cunning and calculating, not to mention a bit egoistic and self-centered.

History: Gordon has lived his entire life in New York City with his rich and doting parents. His mother and father always say he's grown spoiled and a bit ungrateful. Yet, like all overzealous parents, they make excuses for him and he practically gets away with anything. Lately, everything he does to make them mad is just chalked up to his "teen phase". For instance, school.

School has never been much of a bother for him; he's never had perfect attendance, and he's never made straight A's, despite his competitive nature. But he's always held his own, if just barely. School, to Gordon, is a boring waste of time, but one of those necessary evils. For the past year or two, though, he's been getting some bad ideas, especially running with the wrong crowd. "His truancy problem has gotten way out of hand!" his last science teacher would lambast to his parents. He'd charm the shoes off of the administration, though, by making the best of his detentions, and refusing to acknowledge them as punishments. Gordon isn't a bad kid or student; he just has a little too much fun. All in all, he's led an easy life, helped along by his parents' ever-full bank accounts and his own daring attitude.

Weaknesses:

- Gordon is somewhat greedy. Sometimes, it can make him come across as shifty or shady.

- He can be a little too cavalier, and that's gotten him into lots of trouble.

- He's notoriously mischievous. It's brought him fame and misfortune, as he's popular for his antics among his peers but unwelcomed by authority figures.

- He gets caught up in the here and now, especially during competitions, and forgets about the big picture.

Skills:

- He's smart with money, and he's a fast talker who can articulate very well.

- Gordon is athletically gifted. He moves with grace and confidence, and excels in many sports and have had exposure to many others.

- He's adept at winning people over with his charm, especially his looks. Girls and ladies fall for that smile every single time.

- He doesn't bog himself down in the details of matters, and doesn't let life get him down. He is very optimistic and enthusiastic about life.

Special Abilities: Gordon carries the blood of the white Wraithings in his veins. He has the powers of the Faeries of the Winter Court, but they take effect in the particular fashion of the Wraithing Faeries, who are infamous for the snow flurries they carry with them. His powers first manifest as a cold aura, but he soon develops them to include manipulation of moisture in the air at a short radius around him. His cold aura lowers the temperature around him, and he can manipulate the water vapor into snow or sleet, or, in times of great emotion or focus, hail and ice.

I like how you rewrote Gordon, Lily. (:

So, I keep forgetting to say a bunch of things that I tell myself I need to say . . . and I can't remember what all those were.

Kira, if you're not busy, do you think you could try finishing up that profile for your Dark charrie as soon as possible? I don't mean to rush you or anything. I just have a feeling you and Murder are going to send me your profiles at the same time, and it'll take me a heck of a long time looking through both of them.

To everyone who posted their profile in the OoC thread but hasn't written a blurb, just fill out the blurb skeleton for me please if you don't have time. That way, there's something I can link the profiles to, at least.

Ah thank you for the summary and I'll do a blurb soon. As for my character's name, shirayuki is her first name, amane is her last name.

Also since her App isn't up any more... I apologize it is still in the original format rather then the new one you seem to be doing, I'll see about fixing that later.

“For beauty is nothing but the beginning of terror, which we are still just able to endure,

And we are so awed because it serenely disdains to annihilate us.

Every angel is terrifying.”

~Rainier Maria Wilke

Username: jaina

Name: Amane Shirayuki aka "Snow"

Gender: female

Birthday: June 18th, 1994

Age:16

Court: Storm

Appearance: Amane is five feet, five inches tall. Once her faerie blood began to show, her hair under went a radical change. It went from it's original color to a dark, dark gray-black with silvery white and gold colored highlights. Her eyes also under went a similar change, becoming a light silver gray with flecks of gold. She weighs maybe a hundred and ten pounds or so.

Her body is fairly well shaped, but not overly so, giving her a very pleasant appearance. Her face has few sharp lines from bones, providing a gentle, kind impression at first glance, and her skin is a light, soft porcelain color. She usually wears a dark gray T-shirt with black, fitted pants that go down to her ankles, flaring out a little at that point though. She also wears a black wide, scoop-necked sweater.

Personality: Amane is a somewhat aloof, but caring girl. Her personality is seemingly a realm of contradictions. She is quick to anger and slow to let it fade. She is incredibly caring but will then act cruelly to a person she despises. She can be aloof and distant one moment and then forthright, honest, and inquisitive the next. She can be aggressive and violent one moment and calm, peaceful, and artistic the next. However in truth she is a kind, caring individual who wouldn't hesitate to put her life on the line for a friend. She prefers the company of people she knows well but she isn't one to shy away from strangers and will often go and socialize with someone who is and outcast of a group.

History: Amane was born in Japan and shortly there after moved to the united States with her parents after her father was transferred due to military duty. She grew up quite a bit with only her mother as her father spent several years serving overseas on deployment in the Middle East. She inherited her mothers talent for art and has become a fairly well known up and coming artist. When her father has been home he spends great amounts of time with her, doing his best to make up for the time he has been gone from her life. This has lead to her having a close, and very caring relationship between her and her father and mother. She will often work alongside her mother when the two of them paint, using a spare room in their home as a studio for art with dozens of beautiful finished paintings stacked around the walls. Amane interestingly loves her art but has very little attachment to it, willing to give it away or sell it at a moments notice, something that came as a surprise to her mother as her mother was loathe to part with them until Amane explained her reasoning. She said that she truly loved her art, but to hold onto it by oneself was selfish. She felt that art was something to be shared and expressed with other people, showing them her feelings and interpretations of events.

Weaknesses:

1. She's not a very large person so she can be easily overpowered.

2. She is fairly easily frustrated and will occasionally give up early, even just short of success if she is angry.

3. She can be prideful and hates being insulted.

4. She sometimes acts without thinking, leading to unintended consequences.

Skills:

1. She took various martial arts and has become fairly skilled with paired weapons, specifically daggers.

2. Amane is incredibly smart and has a very sharp mind.

3. She is a very talented artist, especially when it comes to painting.

4. She has exceptional stamina and can perform fairly intense activities for long periods of time.

Special Abilities: Amane has control of the air as a result of her heritage which leads back to the Storm Court. Interestingly, however, she some control of electricity, as even further back into her lineage is blood from a faerie of the Thunder Court. She has the singing abilities of Storm faeries usually do though hers can be used to both hinder her enemies and boost moral and confidence amongst her allies. Her abilities related to her Thunder heritage are significantly weaker then those of her Storm heritage as it was further back and has become more diluted.

Shirayuki "Snow" Amane XOX || ♀♀ || BashfulXXXXStorm and ThunderXXXX Forthright XXXX

XXXX

I still have trouble believing what's going on around me... but I have little choice but to do so with the creatures they call demons beating down the front door. The changes that happened to me overnight make it easier I think, but it's still hard for me to even accept that this is the slightest bit real. I've done my best to be the most pragmatic when dealing with these Umbalronis or whatever the hell they are, but some of them get on my nerves while others are okay. Overall though they average out as a rather dislikable bunch. Still they're the only thing between us and death, and I have no intention of letting them stop being such a barrier, I'm not a fool and don't intend to play that roll.

I have to wonder if the feelings I'm having now though in the pit of my gut are anything like what dad had when he was fighting over seas in the middle east. He's only able to tell us about some of the stuff he's ever involved in, the rest is apparently always classified. Still though, he would tell me stories of coming under fire from enemies and being able to hear the bullets passing mere inches away. I used to dismiss such ideas as fantasy, but with the way my adrenaline is going now and how my senses feel, I'm not so sure. Still He once told me how a sniper's round skipped off the top of his helmet and tore through his pack. I guess at that moment he would have felt death sitting beside him, waiting to claim him or his buddies, but deciding it wasn't their time.

Now I feel something I have to imagine is just like what he felt, a horrible sinking sensation in the pit of my gut that cools my insides. It feels like the realization that I might never make it home and see mom and dad again. That I might never hold a pain brush between my fingers to lay out the images within my mind onto the canvas. I'm not sure how my dad ever got used to it. Is it even possible to get used to a feeling like this? It just feels so empty and lonely... I think at least one or two of the Umbaltronis have felt this before... If we all live through this, I'll need to ask them. I don't like this feeling, it's something that I would wager would stop me if it keeps up too long, and I can't stand the idea of something doing that to me...

Thanks for the clarification. It sort of made it more confusing how you call her by her surname instead of her first. >< And thanks for posting them separately. It makes the profile look a lot less cluttered. I'll go and put the blurb up once I'm done typing all this. I just want to point out that the paragraph link is supposed to the paragraph that describes her changes. Don't worry about it, though. I'll change that for you~

Anyways, the new format isn't really a new format. I just happened to suddenly like to prettify things, and it spread. Not sure how that happened. >< You don't have to do that if you don't want to or don't have the time.

You have a couple of typos and spelling errors in your profile, but I'll hold back from pointing those out right now. There's something else I need you to fix. The paragraph I was talking about earlier contradicts what you have in the profile. Here's the link.

I feel like I have more to say, but I can't remember. ><

If I may ask, jaina, how is Shira in both the Storm and Thunder Courts? O.o Also one of the adjectives you used for her blurb is the same as mine. x3 (I don't mind though.)

Oh and Manga, something seems off with the format for Kathy's blurb in your post. I think it's mainly because I fiddled with the spacing (the list tags) and... personalized it a bit. Sorry about that. Dx Do you want me to fix it in my blurb post, and then you copy the fixed format to the first page?

And I'll have Gordon's blurb up soon! I was going to post it right after the profile, but something came up and I had to go. It'll be here before Friday~

Which one was the same lilyice?

her powers section explains how she's from both courts. Also her profile is the canon one, when I was trying to reread the story I realized I had messed up when I wrote that up I meant "a few shades off from white flecked with gold"

and yea i know there's some grammar problems, that was one of the very first copies I sent you manga, before we got everything fixed. If you can point them out, I would appreciate it.

Forthright would be the word, jaina.

It's because Shira has both Thunder and Storm blood in her, Lily. I put her under Storm, though, since that one's more dominant. I prefer if this doesn't happen with another character, though, since it makes things a bit too confusing. >< As long as jaina doesn't overdo it (meaning Shira's powers exceed that of Kathy or Danni), I think we should be fine.

Also, I think I'm going to call Kathy by Katie a lot, so bear with me, please. ><

jaina, I'm still confused on her appearance. I'm not sure what it is you fixed. How can dark gray be "a few shades shy of whitish silver"? White and dark are too very adjectives, and saying that they're only a few shades apart seems to be understating it. Also, you haven't fixed her hair color, either.

It's fine, Lily. I don't mind. ^^ Nothing looks overly wrong with it, except maybe that it's a bit small in comparison to the others.

I should probably get working on Sadine's blurb too, but I'm not exactly sure what it is she would be talked about. DX

Anyways, here's everything I'd like you to fix, jaina:

Age:16

It'd be nice if you added a space before 16 (just 'cause I'm a freak like that xP).

her hair under went a radical change

Underwent is one word, not two. Also, instead of hair, why don't you use appearance, since it's not just her hair that changed?

It went from it's original color to a dark, dark gray-black with silvery white and gold colored highlights.

I'm just going to rewrite this sentence so it's easier: It went from its original color to a dark, dark gray-black streaked with silvery white- and gold-colored highlights.

Her eyes also under went a similar change

Underwent is one word, not two.

She weighs maybe a hundred and ten pounds or so.

Instead of maybe, why don't you use around or about or something along those lines?

Her face has few sharp lines from bones, providing a gentle, kind impression at first glance

First, do you mean few or a few? They have two different meanings. Also, bony faces don't typically give gentle, kind impressions, at least to my knowledge.

Her face has few sharp lines from bones, providing a gentle, kind impression at first glance, and her skin is a light, soft porcelain color.

Personally, I think you should omit the and and replace the comma with a semicolon. This comment is liable to change depending on how you fix the red part, though.

She usually wears a dark gray T-shirt with black, fitted pants that go down to her ankles, flaring out a little at that point though.

You should replace that part simply with "that flare at the ankles".

She also wears a wide, black, scoop-necked sweater.

She is incredibly caring but will then act cruelly to a person she despises.

You should fix this sentence a bit, as it doesn't flow very smoothly. I'm not exactly sure how to explain it, but if you reread over and over, I think you'll figure out what I'm getting at.

She can be aloof and distant one moment and then forthright, honest, and inquisitive the next. She can be aggressive and violent one moment and calm, peaceful, and artistic the next.

I think you should add at before one moment and the next. Also, artistic doesn't exactly fit into that last category if you think about it, since not all painters are calm and peaceful, you know.

She prefers the company of people she knows well but she isn't one to shy away from strangers and will often go and socialize with someone who is and outcast of a group.

There should be a comma after strangers. Also, you have a typo in the very last part of your sentence.

Amane was born in Japan and and moved shortly thereafter to the United States with her parents after her father was transferred due to military duty.

There are a whole bunch of typos in here.

Also, this seems a bit strange. If she was born and lived there briefly (assuming from the fact that you said her family moved to the U.S.), wouldn't that make her citizen of Japan? Why would her father, a citizen of Japan, be transferred for military duty in Afghanistan? Japan doesn't have a military anymore, either, so he can't be a soldier of Japan, could he?

My history and politics (or whatever it is that applies to this) are a bit shabby here, so I'm sorry if what I have to say is wrong.

She grew up quite a bit with only her mother as her father spent several years serving overseas on deployment in the Middle East.

The part in red should be rewritten as something along the lines of "Much of her childhood was spent with only her mother" or something along the lines of that. Don't copy that, though, unless you can't figure out how else to reword it.

She inherited her mothers talent for art and has become a fairly well known up and coming artist.

Mothers should have an apostrophe, since it's a possessive noun, or whatever it's properly called. Well know should have a hyphen between it, as well as up and coming. Also, be careful on exactly how well-known she is. We don't want her to be too . . . okay, I forgot the word, but I'm pretty sure you know what I mean. x3

Wow, that took forever. O.o It's been an awfully long time since I've proofread something before.

I'll look through the rest tomorrow. It'd be nice if you could reread over it yourself and fix whatever you can. I know the next sentence has multiple problems as well.

Thanks, this app is... yea pretty much two years old now, and my grammar has changed quite a bit over that time. I might go through and fix such things by way of a re-write in the style that other people were posting applications in.

By well-known though, what I mean is that she would at least be recognized by her last name. If not for her own work, then for the work her mother has done. Her mother is a highly accomplished artist.

╔════════════════════════════════╗

♥♥Shirayuki "Snow" Amane

╚════════════════════════════════╝

♥♥♥On the blood of our fathers,

♥♥♥On the blood of our sons.

Gender: Female

Birthday: June 18th, 1994

Age: Sixteen

Court: Storm primarily, Thunder secondarily.

Appearance: Shirayuki Amane stands on the dot at five feet, five inches tall with a weight of just over a hundred pounds. Once her faerie blood began to show, her body underwent a radical shift, much like that of all the other hybrids. Her dark brown hair changed to light silver color that is close to that of platinum and is shot with gold highlights. Her eyes changed from their original brandy-like color to a light silver, though they were fleck with little gold streaks, analogous to a golden sunburst on a silver-white background.

Her body is quite shapely for someone who has only just turned sixteen, but not excessively so, making her very easy on the eyes. Her face is pleasant and serene to look at, with very few sharp lines from bones, yet it still has a very well defined shape. With the overall appearance of her eyes, she gives the impression of someone quite gentle and kind, more then willing to listen. her mood though, can greatly influence how she appears at a glance.

Her clothing varies widely; from heavy cargos to short-shorts, long sleeve sweaters to fairly marginal tank tops, and other combinations that depend upon her mood and the weather. Most often though on her upper body, she'll be found in a wide scoop neck black sweater made of light, breathable cloth worn over a white or dark gray tank top. On her lower body she'll wear light-weight cargos of varying colors, most of them cool colors, with two of her knives clipped in each of the lower pockets and one in each of the upper pockets.

Personality: Amane is a somewhat aloof, but caring girl. Her personality is seemingly a realm of contradictions. She is quick to anger and slow to let it fade. She is incredibly caring but will then act cruelly to a person she despises. She can be aloof and distant at one moment and then forthright, honest, and inquisitive at the next. She can be aggressive and violent one moment and calm and peaceful the next. However in truth she is a kind, caring individual who wouldn't hesitate to put her life on the line for a friend. She prefers the company of people she knows well but she isn't one to shy away from stranger, and will often go to socialize with someone who is an outcast of a group.

History: Shira Amane was born in Japan to a US military soldier and a Japanese citizen he met and fell in love with there before marrying. A year after she was born, Shira's family moved to the United States when her father was transferred back home, her family now citizens of the US with her birth and her mother's marriage and legal process. A great deal of Shirayuki's childhood was spent growing up without her father as he was deployed on numerous military tours to the Middle East. When her father has been home he spends great amounts of time with her, doing his best to make up for the time he has been gone from her life. This has lead to her having a close, and very caring relationship between her and her father and mother. As she grew up, Shira began to display the fact that she had inherited the same talent for art, specifically painting, that her mother had.

With that, Snow began joining her mother in the empty room of their house that rapidly became their make-shift art studio. Dozens of finished paintings line the walls of the room now that time has gone by, showing the great deal of things Shira has painted. Eventually Amane's mother asked to take some of her work to a show, something to which she consented, and began letting her work be shown about the city. Soon enough she began to be noticed for her work, and soon enough people were picking up her artwork. Snow was just fine with people buying her art and no longer having it, something that bothered her mother till she explained it. She explained that she loved her art, but had very little attachment to it as she felt such things were worth sharing, and if one could see it once, if only for a time, that should be enough for a static work.

While she may not be recognized by her own name, she would likely be recognized by her last name amongst most art connoisseurs, who would than make the connection between them.

Weaknesses:

She has the singing abilities Larkins usually do though hers can be used to both hinder her enemies and boost moral and confidence amongst her allies. Her abilities related to her Thunder heritage are significantly weaker then those of her Storm heritage as it was further back and has become more diluted.

Unique Color: Corn Flower Blue

And the day pressed on like crushing weights,

♥♥♥♥♥♥For no man did it ever wait.

That should be fine, then, the little bit about her being well-known.

Errr. . . . I'm assuming you're still revamping your profile? I don't want to start pointing things out if you haven't finished. x.x Not that there absolutely things to point out, of course! I like the font, by the way. x3

I think you should be a bit more specific and say that she got her singing abilities from the Larkin, and not just Storm Fey. ^^

Also, I keep forgetting to say this, but I finally remembered! Nessie, I still have your Fjol form! When you have time, do you want to go over it again? I think there were a bunch of demons that we didn't finish going over. ><

Gordon White XOX ♂♂ ||
OptimisticXXXXWinter CourtXXXX Genial XXXX

Don't you think that life should be enjoyed to its fullest? I do. I mean, really, that's what life is all about -- not fame, not money, but fun. Well, money and fame could never hurt, of course, but what are they worth, if your life isn't even worth living? ...See what I did there? A paradox. Hah. I guess school was good for something after all. But I've never really been inclined to do anything there, or even make any effort. You can't blame me though; it's not my fault that the teachers let me get away with everything, and that all that the female student body does is fawn over my looks. Hey, who said God was fair? I get the good looks, you get the brains, I think that evens it out. What I would really die for is an actual good game of basketball, or even just a competent running partner. But no, apparently that's too much to ask for.

I usually don't do this often, but I guess when I reflect back on everything, I've been lucky. I've had a comfortable life, though if you ask me, my parents are way too naggy. They would go on and on and on about useless homework that I didn't finish, but who needs calculus to become a professional sportsman? Really.

I love the city with its brilliant lights at night. I wouldn't give away this life to live at some desolate farm for hundreds of thousands of bucks. Come to think of it, dad and mum probably have at least that much when they combine their savings together anyways. And speaking of money, I need new soccer shoes, and I've got to get some stuff for my friends. They're awesome buddies, stay cool, you guys. Oh, and there's dinner ready.

Peace out.

Ah, that's what happens when I don't read things carefully. x3 That's pretty interesting, jaina.

And Manga, I won't mind if you call my character Katie, but Kathy certainly would. ;D But honestly, that name is rubbing off, lol.

As for the blurb, I... fixed it anyways. >.< If it's not too much of a hassle for you, can you just change it? It bothers me a bit. (Yes, I'm weird that way. *much too OCD*)

Also there's the promised blurb for Gordon! I hope it's okay. I figure with all the dark moods in the blurbs, we needed something with a light and cheerful, perhaps a bit shallow, tone. x33 I really like Gordon. xP

Lol that made my day, Lily. I love his philosophy. xP I can't wait to see how you'll portray Gordon with the demons and stuff.

I should hurry up and make Sadine's blurb. At least I have an idea of what to write now.

Nah, it wouldn't be a hassle or anything. Just give me a minute~

ETA: Got it. I couldn't find Kathy's for a while. I kept on skipping over it for some odd reason. ><
