Posted June 25, 2013 Gr8, except lines are to thick in some areas, making it look somewhat like a sketch Share this post Link to post
Posted July 4, 2013 Hmm... I am 90% sure there's something not quite right about both of these... can someone help me out? :3 This is the one that I think is pillow shaded - which is a pity because I can't figure out how to make it look as nice without pillow shading: This is the strangely shaded one :L : Share this post Link to post
Posted July 5, 2013 Those two are both not sprites. PF13's definition of a sprite is a good one: A sprite is a small image, usually 80x80 or smaller, with limited colors (normally 16 or less) and every pixel and color placed purposefully and with complete control (eg, no paintbrush tool). If you look closely at it, you should be able to see each individual pixel. Nice work, though~! Share this post Link to post
Posted July 11, 2013 If that's the case then... would this be a sprite?: Yeah, I just felt like doing an octopus. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 16, 2013 Yep that's some of my work. No where near done, sadly I suck at making bodies. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 19, 2013 Crits, please? It's so cute, and the shading is lovely! For the sake of being ontopic ill post a thingy. Non-DC No it doesn't have a tail. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 20, 2013 Reminds me of Kraid It's certainly pretty awesome. The only problem is that the left wing has one big straight line. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 30, 2013 (edited) Just some sprite line I did. Crits/Redlines please? Edited July 30, 2013 by dragonfreak6132 Share this post Link to post
Posted July 30, 2013 I like the outline, but where's the color and shading? My avatar Share this post Link to post
Posted July 30, 2013 It's sill a WIP, the shading hasn't been started yet. As for whatsitsname, there are far too many straight lines. Try to curv it a bit. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 31, 2013 (edited) Really mixed feelings on the way these turned out. Moral of the story, for me, it's best to stick to oekaki adoptables. Edited July 31, 2013 by Wallie987 Share this post Link to post
Posted July 31, 2013 Yeah, I like'em! The only problem I see is the the hind feet are positioned a bit awkwardly. Share this post Link to post

Posted August 2, 2013 i decided to make a sprite from scratch. It has no shading yet. Please don't hurt me. The only shading i have done is for drawings and pokemon splices. It's feet bottoms are straight lines because it's standing on an invisible flat floor. I derped the tail by accident. Share this post Link to post
Posted August 2, 2013 I think it's cute! How did you make it from scratch? (I like to make a RL sketch and then scan it) Share this post Link to post
Posted August 3, 2013 I like the sprites, but the egg has some straight lines that should be curved. Yeah, I'm trying but they keep ending up either looking really crooked or totally fat... xP Share this post Link to post
