people who are veterans, make sure to leave some for new players (me)

Trust me when I say, there will be plenty of Halloween eggs to go around. Each year after the event ends, the cave is flooded for days with eggs.

Really like the pumpkin carving  - took me a little bit to understand that "complete" meant with just the current line, not the whole pumpkin (what can I say, I'm slow).

Thought at first the old Halloween eggs were not dropping since they got scooped up so fast I did not see any until the hourly drop. Looking forward to picking up the one I lack. 🙂

The few treats I have picked up are really cool!

Thank you TJ and all who contributed to this year's Halloween!

Quick Holloween question, how do you add more dragons in Rise of the Zombies?

Woo hoo -- thank goodness I realized it was after midnight EST just now.  (I'm recovering from major spinal surgery, on meds etc, so time is pretty messed up for me)

I am loving the mental visual of young Pumpkin Dragons fighting to live inside my carved pumpkins 😄

I wish we could undo individual lines instead of whole shapes. Nothing like doing the whole shape nearly perfectly only to me up near the end, redo the whole thing and then mess up the beginning of the shape five times in a row after doing it perfectly before

Oh my goodness, this is funny!  Even with a simple pattern to go around, I can't draw to save my life!  Well at least I'm in keeping with the horror theme!

Saved three with a score of nil!

Time to go out now.

Happy Halloween, everyone!! Ahh I'm so happy, a friend of mine confirmed my treat made it into the event! Not sure if I'm allowed to say which one it is yet, but I hope it sparks joy for everyone out there. x) ❤️

You don't need to do the whole shape at once. You can cut it out in smaller pieces, so if you're struggling with a part, try focusing on just getting those lines first and cutting out that little bit, then cut out the rest of the shape. Pretty much all of the smiles for the faces I cut out in three or four pieces instead of just one big chunk.

Your score depends on how well you cut out the stencil, but it doesn't matter how many cuts you use to do it.

It's the most wonderful tiiime of the yeeear!

Fast facts:

  • As shown in the above post, the Halloween biome lasts from now until the end of the 31st at DC time. In addition, while Halloween breeding lasts for the same length of time, Halloween eggs may be present in the AP for longer, up to about a week past November 1.
  • Newer breeds will see more competition than older breeds. Newer breeds, especially the latest Crypts, may get caught from the Cave or AP very quickly, while older breeds such as the Pumpkin and Marrow may behave as "blockers" for those areas.
    • Looking to obtain one of all breeds, but tight on time? You may want to prioritize the newer breeds first, and give yourself an easier time with the older breeds later.

Eggs to look out for in the Halloween biome:
