Iridichi Breeding Plans and Discussion!

Oh, my!  Another lovely new Holiday dragon!  I was sorry to see the release thread close so early -- usually, there's time to respond until our own dragons begin growing up, so that those players who don't peek at TJ's dragons and wait for theirs to mature on their own scrolls have a chance to post their reactions, too.

 

SO!  Let's use this thread as a place to discuss breeding ideas for the Iridichi -- and to come gush, adore, evaluate, and leave nice feedback for the spriter/s.  🙂  Personally, I am *very* impressed with that swooping pose!  It's nice to have the contrast of the full-wing-view pose, as well.

 

I'm already curious which color of Lunar Herald would go best with that matching pale rainbow! 

 

Also, maybe Venturis dragons?  Or something pale blue, to match the blue tone in the misty body? But less opaque than Moonstones...

 

Curious how they might line up with Solstices, as well!  They seem to have a similar color scheme for the body and wings, only lighter.  Time to make some mock-ups!

I remember someone mentioning somewhere that Iridichi and Tutela Cantormaris might look great together, and so I bred one of mine with one, and it looks so pretty! I even made what a checker lineage would end up looking like using the lineage planner on this site here: https://heart-of.blue/dragcave/lineage.

I love Iridichi × Tutela Cantormaris, they complement each other so well! I tried putting together Iridichi × Shadow Walker yesterday but it didn't look as good as I'd hoped... plus it would be a pain in the neck to breed.

The regular Electric(m) X Iridichi(f) is definitely something I'll be doing!

I thought they'd look better with the charged/blue version of Electrics, but on paper I think the regular ones balance out the gold parts better.

I think the Iridichi are one of my absolute favorites. They're so gorgeous!😍

I love the female pose with Lihnseyres and Aqua Gemshards!  

 

Another pair I might try is Equinox Dragons. I like the way they pick up the green tones in the female Iridichi's wings!

Wow! There are some really great lineages in this thread. I like especially the Cantormaris, Snow dragon, and aqua Gemshard with them.

I am a little disappointed in the female's lineage view. It loses some of her lovely wing color.

Wow!!  I think their bodies trend greenish (not as blue as I'd previously thought), and so they look SWEET with more green and yellow dragons.  So far, I loooove how they look with Tutela, Equinox, Aqua Gemshard, Yellow Sapphire, Snow, and Lihnseyre (blue x orange, always makes the colors pop!).  I want to see how they look with Gold Lunar Herald, and maybe Water Walker and Terrae...

oh nice, thanks! It's very intuitive to use, I like it alot.

Male green copper. Because I breen everything possible to them and in this case it even looks good! The pose is matching nicely.
