Cookie gifting & Display!

This year I've sent 27 cookies and got 21. Not a big difference between the two which is nice.

Back to more or less lurking until the next holiday.

Let's see...

 

I sent 164 cookies.  Of those:

109 were glysteres from the massive bug production I did last year; I got all but 3 of them sent out.

33 were gift box style; I ran out of pretty boxes at the end and went with some plainer ones.

9 were dragon or hatchling sprites not in boxes.

13 were other unique-ish ones I did, some of which were blatant copies/knock-offs of other things I had seen.

164-109 = 55 new cookies that I made and sent this year. I really hope I got all the promised cookies out to folks; I think I did, and I would hate to have missed anyone.

 

I received 67 cookies, some really gorgeous ones among them.

Ahhh it was another fun year! Sent 34 separately drawn coookies, 4 of which are "duplicates" made on request, rest all have unique designs. Received 27 or 28? (sort of hard to tell because I forgot what was the last cookie I received last year) lovely cookies, including the crazy youtube QR code that still shock me to no end. Love this event, see yall next year i suppose

This year not so active, only made 21 animal cookies, sent out 25 : 20 new + 5 from last year (flowers and cat butthole). 1 cookie is unsent. 

Fun fact : Coincidently the first cookie I bake this year (koi - outline), and the last (1 of the bird).. both sent to water-spirit.

I received 27 interesting (and amusing  ) cookies - missed 2 friends where I returned 3 when they sent me 4 each.. sorry for this, I'll send more if this event return next Christmas and if we're still here.   Anyway, thank you for my cookies, they're all are my favorite colors (blue/green) and/or themes (space/water/animal+dragons/anime/scenery/fireworks). Love them all. ❤️ 

Fun fact :  Despite being quite rare, I received 1 actual tree, 1 actual snowman and 1 actual gift box (although I'm not sure if it's safe to unbox the gift)

I also had short but amazing time this year I made 32 cookies - and only one wasn't sent to anybody. I recieved 23 amazing cookies - thank you all, all of them are lovely 😍

I also had amazing time with swaping cookie-story with @water-spirit - I feel sad that end of event stopped it, I think it could be a bit longer! Maybe next year we can continue it

Had a lot of fun with this. Made 111 cookies and got 140! I thought I was doing good gifting back but apparently not. I will have to rectify that next year.

Happy with my improvement from last year!  Last year was almost entirely horse silhouettes, and this year I branched out into dragon silhouettes and full-colour mythical creatures!

It's really hard to choose favourites - I was given so many beautiful cookies this year, and I love them all - but here are a few of the ones that really impressed me!

Only made new six cookies this year. Was abit too focused on the team game for it. 

 

I especially wanted to make these to send to the people who sent me cookies last year right the end of the event before I could thank them.

 

Here they are: An Avatar of change wing for my Mageia buddy, SSB partial logo, Boat scene, the last crest Kindness with Mircales on the side, a sun, and a beach.

I was a busy baker this year, though I mainly hung out in the unofficial discord.
In total, I think I made like 60ish different cookies.

Since I go by XDLugia, it's only fitting that I made several different Lugia based cookies

 

And since Lugia is a pokemon, obviously I did some other pokemon cookies

 

Can't have Dragcave Dragons out the of the mix
(Some of them are bad and I'm eternally sorry for them xD)


At some point, I decided to do the Flight Rising deities as well

 

And finally, the random characters, objects, or meme cookies

 

I hope it makes a return some other year to increase my stash of cookies!
Maybe later I'll post the cookies I got in return.

I sent a few randomly and every one went to a scroll where the last badge was Valentine Event 2021 and no recent releases on the scroll, so I stopped using random.

 

I made more cookies than I thought.  I got off to a slow start, first feeling under the weather then having bad weather.  Of course, just as I got back into the swing of things the cookie decorating was down to its last few days. And I crashed early last night after taking the allergy medication.

 

Kinda sad it's over. Now what? Guess I'll just be over in Game Forums, banning @AsymDoll13 until this month's new release.

Not so active this year, I made 29 cookies, many of them last-minute monkeys. Almost all of them dreidel-shaped (I like the shape for some reason), only 3 snowmen and 2 snowflakes

I sent out 56 and recieved 46 cookies this year. Really happy I decided to have a look at this thread, because last year was mostly random cookies I recieved and sent and it was kinda sad. This year was SOOOO much fun! Thank you everyone! Even if we did not even exchange cookies, just looking at what everyone sent and got was so lovely. ❤️

Also seeing my improvement from what I tried last year to what I managed this time is a great archievement.

I know the design itself is very repetitive, but I wanted to bring as much joy to people as I could with limited time that I had during this event. Thus simple repetitive pattern of different colors. I hope people enjoyed them still ^^

OK, was finally able to get it. The bright red was from sprinkles, and the texture on the hillside was black sprinkles. The rest was frosting. Looking at it now, I wish I had extended the water to the left side as a sea; originally I was thinking it was a lake, but there is no land opposite it so it looks odd to me now.

 

I created it because I saw one like it that I had missed asking for (from Reykur, perhaps?) and wanted one like it. One of the things I love about creating these cookies is that you can have them and give them away too. 🙂
