Once. In 1974 (I forget the year)? For about ten minutes on Grand Bahama Island. Never again since then.

It snowed for me when I went to Toronto in November of 2018.

see, i like when it snows and i don't have to go anywhere.

That's the best kind of snow. Or, if you have to go anywhere, or choose to, you have the right clothes. I found some awesomely warm rubber boots at WalMart that trip.

i have lots of handmade crochet things, too.

I sold a pair of crocheted earrings today.

i have scarves and cowls, hats, and mitts, and even a cape - even though everything is "meshy" because it's crochet.

oh, and a few nice pairs of socks, too!

If you have enough meshy layers, I guess that would keep you warm.

hmm... i have a skull tunic, a skull cowl, one two shawls with a skull edging, skull edging on my Geeky Heirloom Blanket (3rd pic); and my current project is all skulls!

i get this, i totally do. there's nights where i'll ask hubby if he just wants fast food, or something from wawa for that night. adulting is answering the question "what's for dinner" every single night.  forever.

Our town had their fireworks display last night, but I'm sure our neighbors will be glad to grace us with more tonight!

Oh, man, I can empathize with that "what's for dinner?" dilemma. Some people actually plan a whole week or month of menus ahead and even do prep for the week on the weekend. Or so I have heard. Such creatures have never been a part of my experience. And when I try to use meal plans set up by others, I find much of it is stuff that hubby just won't eat -- or will complain all week about having!

i plan.... maybe like two or three dinners on specific days.  other than that, it's "open the fridge and what do i feel like making for dinner tonight?"

 

i'm having a lazy 4th today, watching some twilight zone while hubby is napping
