Posted July 3, 2021 Good one, @trystan! Better to let it go than bring the snow! Share this post Link to post
Posted July 3, 2021 Once. In 1974 (I forget the year)? For about ten minutes on Grand Bahama Island. Never again since then. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 3, 2021 come up here in the winter.... we have snow. sometimes. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 3, 2021 Someday! It snowed for me when I went to Toronto in November of 2018. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 3, 2021 yaay! see, i like when it snows and i don't have to go anywhere. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 3, 2021 That's the best kind of snow. Or, if you have to go anywhere, or choose to, you have the right clothes. I found some awesomely warm rubber boots at WalMart that trip. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 3, 2021 ah yes. the right clothes are important as well. i have lots of handmade crochet things, too. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 3, 2021 Those sound cosy. I sold a pair of crocheted earrings today. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 3, 2021 i have scarves and cowls, hats, and mitts, and even a cape - even though everything is "meshy" because it's crochet. oh, and a few nice pairs of socks, too! oooh cool! Share this post Link to post
Posted July 4, 2021 If you have enough meshy layers, I guess that would keep you warm. Share this post Link to post

And Happy Fourth of July/Independence Day to all those in or from the U.S. *sets out coffee, teas, juices, apples, brownies, and Belgian waffles with strawberries and whipped cream* Sunny. Not windy. We'll see how things look by sunset. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 4, 2021 bbq? not here! we'll probably have leftovers for dinner tonight Share this post Link to post
Posted July 4, 2021 I'm running out of dinner ideas. I might just settle for a hot dog. Still sunny and still. There was distant thunder about an hour ago. Share this post Link to post

Posted July 4, 2021 Our town had their fireworks display last night, but I'm sure our neighbors will be glad to grace us with more tonight! Happy Independence Day to those in the USA. Happy day to everyone else. Oh, man, I can empathize with that "what's for dinner?" dilemma. Some people actually plan a whole week or month of menus ahead and even do prep for the week on the weekend. Or so I have heard. Such creatures have never been a part of my experience. And when I try to use meal plans set up by others, I find much of it is stuff that hubby just won't eat -- or will complain all week about having! Share this post Link to post
Posted July 4, 2021 i plan.... maybe like two or three dinners on specific days. other than that, it's "open the fridge and what do i feel like making for dinner tonight?" i'm having a lazy 4th today, watching some twilight zone while hubby is napping Share this post Link to post
