Need to go through and name all of my gemshards lol congrats on everyone earning points! Question: if I breed the lineaged gemshard I recently got from a gift, I claim the favor points for the egg because it's laid on mg scroll, correct?

From front page

 - A gifted Imperial Harem egg / hatchie that you receive from another member of the project must be kept and cannot be re-gifted. The favor points for gifting will go to the clan that the gifter is from. 

- All Imperial Harem offspring's Favor Points score will be based on the Clan of the person whose scroll it hatched on. 

 

So you need to hatch it  to get the points

If u breed the egg, and it's one of the milestone generations (eg 3rd gen, 5th gen etc), you'll gain the favor points for that.

 

if u gift a bred egg / hatchie, you'll gain the points for gifting.

 

However, unless the hatchie grows up on your scroll, you won't gain the Clan specific favor points.  Those points will go to the final owner of the offspring. 

 

Hopefully some of this information is relevant to your question! I'm on the go now, so I may have misread. Hope this helps!

I know the hatchie I just got doesn't count, but if I breed that hatchie now that it's grown, it's offspring should count then, it sounds like, from what you and Minx said.

To my understanding, Mink awards individual points to the person the imperial offspring grows up on, while clan points are awarded based on clan point system of the scroll the imperial offspring hatched on.

Kigyptnee is right! The Clan that receives the points is determined by the color of the offspring. How many points the offspring is worth depends on the favor point system of the clan of the person the egg hatched on. 

 

For eg,  Miss Jade from the Jade clan gifts a male Green hatchie to Miss Rose from the Rose clan. Since the egg hatched on a Jade clan's scroll, it is worth 5 points (based on Jade's point system). When it grows up, 5 points are awarded to the Jade Clan. Miss Rose, as an individual,  also gains 5 points that go towards her total Favor Points count since the hatchie grew up on her scroll.
