"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."? That's one of the character's names, plus the hatchie is a Guardian and they have literal shields so in addition to being a reference (if I'm assuming correctly) it's also kind of a pun.

 

 

(If I'm right yours is a much more clever reference, and that's so cool! My own dragon based upon the same character is a Nebula because they're so science-y. :3)
