Don't mind us tripping over ourselves to be useful. May I suggest some guidelines for gifting so we don't get all confused? Perhaps something along the lines of gifters need to post in the thread that they have an item to gift. Then pm the member that you have an item to gift and include a teleport link? If it's a more rare item what about posting: I am on the hunt for evil! is hunting for [requested egg] for [Requester] And color code it some color that has not been used if possible? Okay, hah. So long as Tiga got her prizes. I think a new form might be useful, but shouldn't discourage anyone else from looking unless someone's posted the green form for awarding a prize. Just so that the other posters and the requester of the prize know someone's looking! If anyone requests a rare/hard-to-fill prize, that form would definitely be useful. I think it might be good to be allowed to request a certain lineage, perhaps? If the request proves too difficult we could always have a new form (somanyforms) to change or remove your prize request -- or just allow it to be changed via a normal post, whatever seems best to everyone. For example, if I badly wanted a Silver metallic from an Arsani but don't want any other prize and my points have been piling up, that would probably be easier to fill and make more sense than a CB Silver. I'd love to offer help with lineages as a reward for doing devious work! Personally, I don't think it matters who requests what as long as a prize request doesn't go unfulfilled for months and nobody who requested a CB egg is offered a messy lineage. I don't think this should turn into a htf or not easy to complete prize or breeding request. Making a very specific special breeding request may prevent people from wanting to gift and a person waiting a long time to get their prize which would make anyone sad. IE 3rd gen Checker Green Copper from Alt Desipis grandparents(which I just made up) would be a difficult request. I believe for common/uncommon breedable eggs 2nd generation should be fine, not necessarily pure-bred though. For Shimmer/Tinsels I think just indicating a color and range for generation, say 4-7th gen would be good. Share this post Link to post

Maybe a generation limit would be more reasonable, say 1-3 gen for Commons, 1-4 gen for uncommons, 1-7 gen for metallics/rares, 1-8 gen for prizes, and 1-9 gen for Holidays. Oh, man, that's a really great point (and I agree with your sentiment about the project). Same for Gypsydancer's point about this making prizes overcomplicated and difficult. I also forgot to add in my first post, but would like to point out -- I don't know Tiga's reasons for the original rules (I thought it might be so that no messy/inbred lineages, which are generally more "unloved", are gifted as rewards) so there might be another reason for keeping most prizes CB.
