I've only used I think two or three incubates (I have... 17? Red Dragons) on the seven evil releases I've achieved since Valentine's breeding began - they're pretty short time anyway and it's a good way to stop myself constantly refreshing AP when I don't actually like most of the Valentines dragons and should get real life stuff done.

Edit: Wow, look what I just found O_o.

What what what. How many Reddies are required to spam incubate for as long as you like?

Btw, it's heaven for releasing batches of minions to screw with v-day cos every egg is five hours and less.

Give me a moment to lie about the hiatus and organise my troops.

I am releasing these to create destruction!

Now I have a little problem. I sent four little critters off and only two came back. It's recorded in the action logs but I don't have the codes for two.

Stupid screenshot overridden the two I did have.

Update to thread... Complete!

Update completed by: Chalkboard

Please do not edit your posts as any edits will be missed. Posts made after this will be counted in the next update.

Make sure to read the blue below as there are important information for you to see.

A small update to bring our new members into the fold as soon as possible. If you have any problems or questions, just notify the group account via PM.

--------------------

All point totals and votes have been counted.

Hellfire Wyverns have attained 5 votes and have therefore been added to the list. Only Hellfires released after this update (11th of February) will count.

Zeditha: I noticed you hadn't been added to the members list although your form was accepted in an earlier update, but you have been added now. I'm also not sure as to whether I should count your first votes, since you had questions as to the nature of the project -- I will count them if you request it.

WorldofValdis: Your form has been accepted. Welcome to the project!

If anyone would like to request Valentine's prizes, they may do so until the breeding period ends!

Xasora: Your form has been accepted. Welcome to the project!

Lurhstaap: Your form has been accepted. Welcome to the project!

bouken: Your form has been accepted. Welcome to the project!

Ochredrakes have attained 5 votes and have therefore been removed from the list. Ochredrakes released after this update (11th of February) will not count.

--------------------

Anything in blue will remain in several updates to make sure everyone has seen it.

All new members that are joining must have a password in their form. The password is different for everyone. Existing members/members who have already joined need not use this password.

Keep in mind that you can vote for a breed to be added or removed from a list at any time. A breed needs 5 votes to get added/removed.

Balloons have been removed from the eligible breeds list. Any hatchlings of that breed released after the last update (29th of January) will not count.

Moonstones and Sunstones have been added to the list. Any hatchlings of that breed must be released after the last update (29th of January) in order to count.

The next time someone wants to donate a prize, make sure you post it in the thread first to avoid double-gifting.

New forms were added: "I am on the hunt for an evil reward!" is optional and may be used by any member of the thread who is searching for the egg another member has requested as their prize. "I want to banish some minions!" and "I want to recruit some minions!" are also optional, and should be used to vote for breeds to be removed from/added to the eligible list.

To those asking, it takes a little calculation to figure out how many Red dragons you need. It depends on your scroll limit, how fast you can hatch eggs, and the time it takes for your Incubates to become available again.

For example: my scroll limit is 7 eggs. It takes two weeks (14 days) to recover an Incubate BSA once you've used it. The longest time to hatch an egg is 3 days (shortened to 2 with Incubate).

This means that, in two weeks I will need to incubate 49 eggs (14/2 x 7). So, I need 49 Reds. If I pick up six-day eggs from the AP only, I need only one day to hatch them, so I need to incubate 98 eggs (14/1 x 7). So, I need 98 Reds. If my scroll limit were 6 eggs and I took AP eggs, that would take 84 eggs (14/1 x 6). That's a whole lot!

It'll obviously be a great deal more Reds if you just kept hatching AP eggs (with less than five days) non-stop. So, uh, don't attempt that until you have a whole arsenal or are willing to take occasional breaks. ;>_>

I think there is a small correction on the above. I think it should say "after" instead of before. Hellfires released before this date would not get points as they were not eligible at that time. wink.gif

and @Chalkboard- I've got a long way to go if I want to be an evil mad scientist hatchling releaser like you. blink.gif

Thanks @ Chalkboard, those calculations give me of what I'm up against.

I'm an in for a roller coaster ride of playing fast and loose with my Reds (once I collect a few more wink.gif )

Charlottekay62, make sure you only post lineage links and not view links. You can do that by changing the "view" to a "lineage".

Ex.

http://dragcave.net/LINEAGE/(Code)

As opposed to

http://dragcave.net/VIEW/(Code)
