Jacus shook his head, "No, I didn't." He starts walking past the different shops and to the smithing district.

"Oh! Here! " they were almost to the smithing district when she saw a lot of stringed instruments hanging in the window. She dragged him in. Inside there where lots of stringed instruments, and violins covered one wall. A elderly man was walking in the back and a younger man more like a apprentice was talking to a woman about a cello.

Arwena looked around and was drawn to a beautiful violin She carefully took it down and plucked the strings. "Good sound... made out of cedar wood, but I guess you have to play the strings with a bow to see how it really sounds... and know how to hold it..." She looked at the work on the wood.

Jacus smiled, "Then buy it and the bow. Also I'm sure there is a book of how to play in here too. I'm sure your parents would love to hear you play."

"I will.." She smiled as the elderly man can back out and up to them. "Good eye missie, put three years in that, and been waiting for someone to see it. I heard something about a book too. Hmm. Let's make a deal, since I see you're a elf, and elves have the ears for music and the skills to play, you buy the violin and the case, I'll throw in the bow and instruction book for free." Arwena thought it over tilting her head. "How bout I get the violin, instruction book and a extra bow, and you give me the case and the bow to this beauty for free. "

They continued to barter, Arwena managed to get the case, instruction book, a song book and a tune up lesson for free or half price, and buy the violin and two bows for full price. Once she purchased it, he showed her how to tune and play it, and told her the tune each string is how to rezen the bow and tighten the hairs on the bow, before setting it in a velvet cushion in a hard wood case carved with the same design and giving it to her telling her to return tomorrow afternoon for her lesson.

She looked proud as they left the store. "You should see our market, that was short compared to most elves, they haggle over a trade price for hours. "

Jacus sighed, "I don't see why you haggled him. You saw something you liked, and he gave you a deal. I don't see why you would try and not give him the money he asked for. If I was you, I would have given him a good tip for being so kind."

"You heard me. I paid full price for the violin, but lessons and the case are expensive, I only have so much. And.... the entire thing was about about five gold and twenty silver compared to it's normal six.... I.. might have thrown in another gold.. so in essence, I did pay full price. Never seem too interested in a piece, the price always gets bumped up. I am fair when it comes to these things, and it is a work of true beauty, I would never pay anything less then original price. You need to trust me more Jacus."

Jacus waved his hand, "Fine fine... it's your money, I won't tell you how to spend your money."

"Now can we go see your friend about Drago's helm and claws?" She held her case tightly, happy she finally got what she came for. Now on to drago. She started walking in a direction, hoping it was the correct way. "Are you sure? I can get you something to eat......" She looked at him. Although she hid it well, she wanted to know if the King had anything to say about them.

Jacus shook his head, "No it's fine. I'm not that hungry. My friend isn't that far, you should still be close to Drago since the district is next to the castle wall." He made his way to the section that reeked of smoke and metal. Soot covered men walked the streets, many very muscular and bearded. They looked like tall dwarves without shirts. Many looked at Arwena with playful smiles and whistles. Jacus just laughed, "They don't see too many pretty faces, but they are all friendly and respectful."

"What is with the whistling, are they calling a animal or something? As you know, I know next to nothing about human ways.... we only whistle a tune or when we call our horses. Although it doesn't seem like they are doing that here..." She tilted her head confused as another one whistled at her. The shirtless thing only made her stumble a little, but she soon got used to it. "I worked in the forges once. As a passing from childhood to teen hood, a elf makes their own blade, I made my dagger...... although it took me several times to get it right."

Jacus laughed, "They are whistling as a sign that they think you are attractive... which you obviously are. Like I said they don't see many good looking women in these parts. But they don't mean anything wrong in it. Just messing around."

"Oh. Ok...now which smith is your friend?" She had pulled up her hood and pulled her cloak around her as far as she could. Although they don't mean anything by it, she didn't like it.

Jacus put his arm around her and led them to the forge. The man there was taller then Jacus but a similar build. He had a short brown beard and black marks on his arms. His most noticeable feature was a scar on his face over his left eye which was paler than the other. "Hello there Nick. How goes it?"

"Jacus! It's been awhile. Who is this fine lady you bring with you?"

"Arwena Wood. She helped me a lot in my trip."

Nick looked up at her, "Well... I don't see the harm of helping out a friend and his..."

He gave a questioning look to Jacus who just nodded. Nick continued, "And his lady. So what do you need?" Jacus smiled, "We need battle armor for a mount."

"That's not too bad. How big is the horse."

Jacus just smirked and chuckled.

Arwena smile. "Not horse. My mount is a wolf. A dire wolf to be precise. Size reference is about as big as a Clydesdale, wide head about two and a half hand's spans across his brow. Your hands not mine. His name is Drago, so something that looks like a dragon head with horns so he can fight like a wolf and still be effective. Claw bladed too, for his front claws

Could you do it? You could be the first human to ever make armor for a dire wolf .. in fact, I think elves wouldn't do it ither, and my smithing skills arnt very good to do such a complex project ..."

Nick blinked and looked back to Jacus who just laughed, "she isn't kidding either..." Nick though for a moment. "I'll need to see him first... for exact measurements. I got the materials, so it would take two days after measurements."

Arwena grinned. "Well he is in the stables right now. We can go there now if you arnt busy. Don't be nervous or scared about him.... he looks freighting but he really is a just a big dog. If you can't come now, you can find him in jacus's back yard. Glad you'll take up the job! He's been bugging me for years about getting him some armor. ..." she smiled brightly at him.

"Alright! We will see you then. Thank you!" She looked at Jacus. Should we collect Drago and Kayden then head home now?"

((I'm a fan of the Chaos faction in Warhammer, but not something I see Drago wearing.))

Jacus nodded yes and escorted Arwena from that district back to the royal stables.
