Tyrus laughed, "You've learn all you can from the elves, maybe you should open your hears to some things we have learned. Might be a wise idea knowing how you will spend the rest of your life." Jacus knew he was talking about Arwena and him being together. The jumbled puzzle that still needed to be put together.

Arwena was confused. "I thought I was, I want to know about your culture and the people here. It fascinates me..." she let Drago go and held Jacus's hand. "Are we going to see the king?"

Tyrus nodded as he slid down a ladder and landed next to them. "Yes. Though I suggest you show your letter first." Jacus held her hand and gave it a little squeeze as they moved into the castle.

Arwena nodded and pulled out the letter without letting go of Jacus's hand. She smiled a little. "You ran off so quickly I bet you didn't hear me Sir Tyrus... to me, you are still young. Although, I don't look it really. But, if you want to go by world experience rather than physical age, I would say you have more then me. This trip with your son was my first time outside the Forest realm. .."

Tyrus smiled and put his hand on her shoulder, "And it won't be your last Dear Arwena. Jacus isn't the type to sit around and do paperwork, and neither will you. Your kind take pride in the forests you dwell in, we take pride in any place we tread."

Arwena snickered. "I made the best things out of my history homework..... I got really good at paper folding. Many elves are just plain prideful wherever they go. But.. I'm not like most elves. I'm the odd one. I told Jacus this; where he is blessed by a Dragon, I am marked by one. Elves are born without any mark on their skin. But I was. For this reason, my pride is in my magic and work. Oh.... um... you didn't mean literally did you? ... that's still lost on me. We don't have extensions like humans do."

((Dotz the girls spared right next to them. He would see that they were done and had a few bruises when the boys moved))

((Well I put my thing... oops.))

Tyrus smiled, "When I say that, I mean it for a chosen few elves. Obviously not all elves are the same. Not all humans are the same. Sterotypes don't help relationships much. I wouldn't be surprised if we even say a pacifist orc or a Dark Elf priest of light." He laughed and walked inside.

Arwena shrugged and walked into the castle. "True. Tradition is being a little rough for us. I know we'll make it though though. If not I'll do anything to be with him. Elves only love one their whole lives...... Jacus is my one and only... " she held his hand.

((Well they found a way to interact with your Jax))

((Thanks))

Jacus smiled, "Well, in terms of loving people, you love more than me... just only me in a romantic way. You gotta give some love to Drago, Kayden, your parents, my parents, and since are a druid, all of nature."

"Kayden and Drago aren't people Jacus. Although I do love nature. " She followed his father to the king. She studied more of the castle this time around freezing when she saw a claw of a Dragon. It was older then her but she grabbed her right shoulder, her other hand on her left side, backing into a pillar staring at it. It was a black Dragon claw hanging on display and she looked like she was in pain. "Except for that one..."

Jacus blinked at the claw, noticing Arwena stare at it, he told her hand to comfort her. Tyrus also saw this and walked over, "A relic from the Dragonhunters of old... The dragon had murdered many... Though the story doesn't clarify if they killed the dragon or only cut off the claw..."

"No.... it is far from dead, although I wish it was. That Dragon tried to kill my grandmother when she was with child.... the armor she wore was magic, and no magic is without a price. I bare the mark that claw would have made on my grandmother... let's... let's get away from this thing... I feel like it is digging into my skin..."

She pressed herself against Jacus for protection gripping his hand tightly.

Jacus moved her away from the claw and towards the throne room with Tyrus. The King and Queen were in their thrones, an empty one were the prince would be was to the king's other side. They were listening to the daily reports. The topic of the Crimson's came up in which only the leader was to be publicly executed and the rest were to be jailed for life.

The further away from the claw, the more relieved she looked. She let go of Jacus's hand and had her eyes respectively averted. When she heard the verdict of the Crimson's she was surprised. Their rulers where just in punishment. As she approached she bowed deeply to the royalty of the room and waited to be addressed before speaking.

((I did see Arwena Fang.))

Once the reports were done and the reporters left, the king slumped in his chair. He chuckled looking at the three. "Work work work... the price we pay for keeping order. At least you three are looking well." Tyrus nodded and went to sit in a chair under his banner. Jacus just stood. The king smiled and looked to Arwena, "Seeing as they are keeping quiet, you are the one wanting to talk to me."

((I had too.... smile.gif ))

"Yes.. " She handed him her note. "This is the antidote for the beasts's poison that bit Sir Tyrus, and I have a suspicion of who is behind the monsters." She paused for a moment. "The dark elves who worship the Spider goddess have easy access to her blood and poison. Her bite is like a Recluse, and from Tyrus's wound, it looked like a large recluse bite. Her poison and blood-which is like acid from her spider half and healing from her human half- was a ingredient to make the beast. Dark druids also take on chaotic evil soul halves, and the rangers are known for having trained displacer beasts. This creature bares a strong resemblance to one, but is twisted and made into a whole new beast. " again she paused for a breath.

"I believe the dark elves are behind it, but their king seemed surprised at such creatures being described in the letter Televere sent him and was eager to find out this unknown new dark magic. If the Drow king doesn't know of it, he isn't the one behind the massing of goblins and the beasts.... but someone in the drow community is, and they are powerful.."

The king thought for a moment. The queen looked to Arwena. "I am a good friend with Televere... how is she doing? Last time I saw here, she seemed very stressed, very uncommon for a dragon."

"She seemed quite... lively... " She looked at Jacus. "Definitely lively, and quite energetic." She looked back at the queen. "She seemed very talkative. Even got us reservations to the best restaurant in the city.." She smiled. "I think she's fine now"

The queen smiled, "Well that's good to hear." The king looked up after he was done thinking, "If or when you tell your elvish council... How do you think they would respond to this threat?"

"With careful consideration. They wouldn't punish a whole race for one elf's actions. They will alert the king. The one who would do so is the king's own brother, Elder Garen. But as for what they would do, punishment for what crimes they have committed, but exact punishment is uncertain for me to relay for I didn't know what they would do."

The king nodded, "And what would YOU do Arwena? How would you address the issue at hand?"

Arwena was silent. She held up a finger to symbolize "one moment" before sitting criss cross on the floor, eyes clouded and distant. After a long while, she stood again and cleared her throat. "After careful consideration. In my perspective, I would them executed by arrow. Fire is a burial right to us, being placed in the ground, we believe our soul can't reach the starts where our ancestors are thus considering it a second death. They would be shot through the heart, then buried deep in the earth for their crimes."

The king looked at her, "I meant in terms on how the kingdoms respond to the issue, not the aftermath of judging."

"Oh... um...Well, study I guess. I don't know much about this mystery magician. Magic has a footprint of its own. If I can get a dead beast and study it to see what I can get from it, perhaps try to discover who did it... I can't exactly pinpoint it, but ill get a good idea how powerful one, or how many are behind it..." She flushed embarrassed, common wasn't her first language and she was used to the lengthy explanations of the smaller words of her native language. "I do not know how much I can do. Barely even a week ago I had no knowledge of a war, and was only assigned as a escort to one of your knights. Unless I have all the facts, I can't assume my position in the matter.

I am a guard, not a ruler. I follow only what nature and those above me tell me to do.... " She kept her silver eyes on the ground.

The king nodded, "Knowledge is what gets us out of trouble. War comes from ignorance and rage... if we are to overtake this conflict, we must be calm and use our heads before our fists. But where to start. It seems the Dark King is obvious to his own ranks.. so it seems... I wish to investigate further... Though there are still many questions left unanswered, and many other issues that need resolved."
