Posted June 21, 2015 I was going to join, but the site's grammar and layout was horrendous. It wasn't polished or well checked over at all, and felt extremely rushed. I was bothered too much to return. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 23, 2015 (edited) The Darklands is now open to all players that picked dark in this new event New event egg This rotted egg seems to have already hatched. Edited June 23, 2015 by Jedi40 Share this post Link to post
Posted June 23, 2015 (edited) Isn't it just the players who chose dark who got Darklands and players who chose light who got whatever the light area is called? I stayed neutral and have neither. Edited June 23, 2015 by Mathcat Share this post Link to post
Posted June 23, 2015 The light area is called Lightlands and for now it has: Sprite Midge (Sun) Honey Wyrm Hiakiar Angel Serpent (All three) Caldony I think it should have Diomandra as well, but I haven't come across one yet. Share this post Link to post

But don't they all drop in the creche anyway? Share this post Link to post
Posted June 23, 2015 (edited) Once again - for the third time - I get on to find most of my holding area missing, including a bunch of stuff I bought back after the last time this happened. If you chose a side: go to the event page and you should get the other side's scroll, giving you both. (It may be a Light Clan/Dark Clan exclusive.) Posted June 24, 2015 I think the event ones might stop dropping in the creche later on No I was talking about these ones: Sprite Midge (Sun) Honey Wyrm Angel Serpent (All three) Share this post Link to post
Posted June 24, 2015 No I was talking about these ones: Sprite Midge (Sun) Honey Wyrm Angel Serpent (All three) Yes. All the other areas drop things that also drop in the creche, like Blind Wyrms and Black Dragons in the Darklands, for instance. Share this post Link to post

Posted June 28, 2015 I love the new look to the creche. It reminds me of ToD in a way. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 10, 2015 Have you read today? (WIP) In the tallest tower of the hold, an unusual book resides. Although not much larger than a reference book, and upon close inspection of it you will find only blank pages, this book is said to contain all knowledge of every past and future event, all timelines, and even more astonishing- knowledge of the world before ours. Still safely sealed in its unreachable crypt, a small index of its collected knowledge has been spilt for curious mages to enjoy. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 18, 2015 Come one, come all! Well hopefully not all, I'd rather keep some of you safe.... A certain... problem.... as you all know is the constant encroachment of the darkness surrounding our strange lives. From the recent losses of multiple stars in the night sky, to the somewhat recent loss and reclamation of the flower fields, this is becoming more and more of a problem that needs to be addressed, as the seven seem to be waning in their power. As such, from order of the high council, we are now allowing scouting parties of mages to take their champions out towards the edge to try and fight back the darkness. Word has it that the power is constantly growing on these monsters, and as such it is of dire need that we require assistance. We cannot ensure your security, or any other concerns you may have, but our original scouts have fleshed out the more dangerous creatures. Be careful, if you encounter a problem you have my help. http://forestofmirrors.x10.mx/battle/ Share this post Link to post
Posted August 3, 2015 (edited) Last Edited: 8/30/2015 (Very incomplete list of Power/Magic Attack for the various creatures) Battle: An Incomplete Guide Note: The information below may change as the battle system gets updated, but should be fairly accurate right now. Something to remember is that the stats of the demons you battle will be about your champion's stats (unless you've just changed champions/trinkets, in which case you might want to flee the next battle, as the demons seem to take one fight to update). To add trinkets, click on Change Trinkets, then scroll up. Trinkets can be added or removed one at a time. The main stats are Health, Attack, Range, and Defense. Health represents how many points of damage your champion can take before needing to be healed. Your health can only be so high at the start of a battle - I'll call this amount maximum health. Attack is how many points of damage your champion can give, plus or minus the Range. This may also vary depending on your power or on how much defense the opponent has. Range is the amount by which your champion's attack can vary (as best I can tell). Defense is the amount of damage your champion can block if you click Defend while battling. If your champion's defense is higher than the opponent's health, you gain the difference in Health. This is crucial. Defense may also have some impact on how much damage your champion takes (since I've seen messages about an opponent with lowered defense taking more damage because of that). Your dragon may also have a power. Presumably Physical means they're better at physical damage and Magic means they're better at magic. Some of the magical attacks are very useful. Once you've picked up a few powerful defense trinkets, it might be worth experimenting with different dragons. Magic attacks include heal (heals your champion for a certain amount), blind (reduces opponent's defense by a certain amount each round), poison (reduces an opponent's health by a certain amount each round) and defense increase (increases your defense). Be aware that you may need to refresh between attacks. How To Battle Without Going Broke 1. Pick a champion with a higher number for defense than for attack. 2. If you have any defense trinkets, add those. Attack and health are less important. If you add an attack trinket, make sure it doesn't make your attack higher than your defense. If your trinkets aren't showing up, scroll up. You'll need to add them one at a time. 3. Click Battle! If you have already been battling with a different champion or mix of trinkets, you might flee that battle (no penalty for doing so). The next battle will give an opponent with stats that mirror your champion's stats. 4. Click Defend. Your Health will go up by the difference between your defense and your opponent's attack. For example, if your defense is 200 and your opponent's attack is 100, you'll gain 100 health each time. 5. Repeat until Health is enough over your champion's maximum health that an attack from them will still leave you above maximum health. For example, if my opponent's attack was 100 and my champion's maximum health was 200, I'd click Defend until my champion had at least 300/200 health. 6. Attack! Magic Attack may have good side effects (lowering opponent's defense, raising champion's defense, poisoning) or might just heal your champion, but Physical Attack should do the job as well. If your champion has magic for its power and poison for its magic attack, this can be especially good, as your champion will only need to attack once during the battle. 7. Repeat 4-6 until opponent is defeated. If you defended often enough, you won't need to heal afterward. To sum up: Pick a champion with a larger number in defense than in attack. Add defense trinkets if you have them (and maybe one smaller attack trinket if Attack is single-digits)). Flee next battle if necessary. Click Defend a bunch of times (you might need to refresh after each click), then attack. Repeat until opponent is defeated. If you defended often enough, your champion will end the battle not needing any health potions. Power/Magic Attack(Incomplete) Note: I am assuming that all dragons of the same breed have the same magic attack, but I'm not testing every single dragon I own to confirm this. Please note that there can be variation between types - chargers, pulsars, and leaf midges have different attacks depending on what type they are.
