It is a very bad thing to come look at this thread-- so many combos that I would never have considered, that I now must look into using!

 

Congrats on the finishes and PROGRESS!!!

 

I think I will stay away from the gems-- dorsals and nebula are making me crazy enough

 

the Plateds have some interesting potential and Rivers will be outstanding in blue combos and probably a lot of other things as well

I finally got a an undine from the spotted wing as a mate for her but as is common these days "no eggs" at least they will be compatible!

have half of about three projects done - waiting for the other pair to produce!! I guess if it was easy we'd get bored

Okay this is getting ridiculous! I was hoping that with the new Jungle breeds the Carmines would start to ease up but no dice. <_< Are Cassares and Blue-Bandeds this dominant too? Though as others have said, if it was easy these projects would be a lot less fun~ c:

Yuuuuup. You wouldn't believe how long my 5th gen tea x pebble checker took me (and I only got the second gen pebbles thanks to the dedication of fuzz, the lovely dear). I think it took them being released for a year for breeding to become reasonable.

So I started this nhio x bbw line and this ptradrake x harvest line, both of which I really love. I wanna continue these checkers but I'm also thinking about turning them into lovely commons. Opinions on good mates (I can rebreed third gens for the other breed, so both lines could be either the top or bottom)?

 

The ptradrake x harvest I got the idea for because the eggs are kinda similar. Maybe another similarish egg type?

Hmm, for the Nhio x BBW, maybe keep the Nhios as the frame, and use something equally as bright as the BBWs like Brimstones or Magi, or Canopies if you'd like to keep the green theme? Carmines or Sunstones might make the red on the BBW stand out? As for CW x Harvest, what about CWs as the frame with Whiptails or Waterwalkers to go on the inside?

 

And now thanks to the Earth Day breeding I have a new project (Like I needed one. ): Terrae x Pink for the top half, and I'll have to build a Spring x Terrae for the bottom half.

The Nhio checker: Carmine maybe? With Nhios, you may even have a chance to get both breeds

 

The Harvest checker: Sunstones might look good both ways.

 

Just for fun, I tried my 3 Royal Crimson guys with Carmine ladies - got 3 Carmine eggs

@ Sock I like Nio tropical or Canopy to replace the BBW , but then I like similar color patterns for the most part and Brimstones in place of the Harvests-- again same color replacement

managed to find someone who could breed a mint so I can finish a mate for this ap find (notice I am venturing out of my safe zone and trying contrasting colors in the middle )

 

nice to see a flury of activity here- must mean our dragons are producing again

It's their original name. Since I was active in the original thread and missed their release due to inactivity, when I came back and saw them in cave just recognized them as ptradrakes, I often forget they're actually called coastal waverunners, lol. Sorry.
