((ok, so effectively in one post you destroyed half of the entire army with zero casualties, and your character managed to attack and capture every single red without any issues, as well as having browns and greens hunt down and capture all of the Blues which, as said in the previous post, were under water... I am calling some serious god-modding here...))

(Guys please chill.... I could have called Godmodding on the fact that Shadow was able to avoid patrols and capture so easily, also that ink doesn't really have a pheromone trace that could be read via scent... but I didn't... even though I love Overlord and RPs I am seriously considering leaving this RP if arguements like this continue.)

 

The letter from Luna arrived just as Lilith was about to dissmiss her gathered minions. Pausing to read the letter, Lilith decided that a show of force may be nessessary.

Ordering 4 of her available Blues to open a portal to Luna's area - targetting the land about 40meters away from her tower... this should put them behind the bulk of the seiging army as the attack had been going on for a while.

Lilith then led her army of minions through the portal which was being maintained by the 4 Blues - which had orders to close it once the last minion was through.

Her army consisted of 40 Browns in the front lines, followed by 20 Reds. Lilith was central surrounded by 8 of her Brown guards, 6 Blues brought up the rear - 3 on each side.

 

The first sign that the seigers had of the arrival was a surge of magic from the portal, followed up by a volley of fire attacks from the Reds.

(Ok! I agree, RPing is for fun... I don't think it's a competition usually.)

 

Luithark- Of course something durmatic had to happen, but I though it would be to one of the generals. Actually, it happened to me. I had been up to the top of the tower to check on the captured blues when Lilith's minions arrived and I found myself surrounded. The blues had put some kind of trance on my reds, and as soon as I arrived my reds and Alexander's blues had me surrounded.

 

In the meantime, my other minions were also struggling. It happens that some of Alexander's browns and greens had been cornered into the nets with the help of my red's fire balls shooting at them... Forcing them to run somewhere else that might trap them in the perfect spot to be netted.

 

So my minions had to develop a different strategy, which is still in progress. But it wasn't as bad since of the minions sent by Lilith, which were proving themselves as great fighters.

 

(Sorry for argueing guys! P.S I'm going to hide my iPod away from my sister.)

(Hiding iPod is good plan... either that or just not let the logins be remembered on it.. granted logging in each time is a pain, but saves on the problems that others can cause with access to forum accounts..)

 

Lilith's basic strategy for her army was the Blues would provide healing and magical back up, the Reds would continue to strike at range while the front line Browns kept any melee units, enemy Greens and Browns, from reaching the Red archers. Lilith and her guard were slightly behind the Red line to protect the Blues from any counter attack and it also meant that Lilith could observe the battle and alter plans as it progressed.

Luithark- While Lilith n' everyone else were fighting, I was led by my trances reds and Alexander's blues to my room. Making a lock quickly, they locked me in to be dealt with later and left to fight. In the meantime I decided to start fiddling with the lock.

Ink is organic hence he could sense it, he could sense the patrolls due to how he can 'see' like a shark

Al three ways I use since their theories and nothing says they can't all be possible. So, that's how he knows where his prey is ))

 

Apocalypse sat down on his throne and sighed. He looked at one of the minions passing by and motioned for it to come over. "First, bring me the hurt blue, then bring me fresh meat, uncooked" He said and watched it run off. He sighed again, the plan was falling into place, one more piece of the chest board had to be found. He needed another ally. He looked at the blue who was dragged here. The blue was bluer due to blood loss. apocalypse looked at the wound. His armor gave a glint that only he could see. It was a warning of magic. He sighed, blue's were magical. But that wound, it hadn't closed at all and it should have. He frowned and raised a hand. He used his power over gravity to close the wound and keep the blood inside. If the wound opened again at least the blood wouldn't spill. He ordered them to look after him and make sure he got better. He started to wander if blue's weren't as bad as demons were when magic was concerned...

 

Shadow groweld, he couldn't sneak like this, he needed to get to Apocalypse so he could patch him up. He moved away from the tower and headed off toward where he thought Apocalypse's gates might be at.

(Not arguing on the electro-magnetic vision detecting lifeforms.... but from my understanding of pheromones, these are secreted by certain creatures during mating season to attract potential mates and are often used to mark territory, granted ink is also a natural secretion and is organic in nature, but the chemical makeup of both are completely different from each other.

This would give rise to different properties, sensing pheromone throgh scent - fine but ink doesn't have the aromatic ring structures that pheromones possess.

Chemistry lecture - sorry - aromatic ring structures are often found, along with an adjacent ketone group, in chemicals with a scent attached, examples of these include analogues of pheromones as well as pheromones themselves. The chemical structure of ink is less robust and is often more linear in nature. Therefore sensing ink patterns through scent due to the pheromone content is an invalid theory.)

Lilith watched her army continue to bombard the seigers. From her position it was hard to tell whether they were having any effect or not.

Back at the tower the 2 Browns were assisting the healer in creating a brewing room. The 4 Blues that opened the portal slept off their exersions and the defensive ritual continued with 5 Blues chanting away.

((Never thought of it in that matter, but non the less, he can could use the echo location technique, in every time he 'read' one of the letters he hissed so no editing is needed. Though the fault is in the miniature amount of distance from the page to the tip of the ink. But they could have advance echo-location due to how unlike any Earth creature they are able to sense through walls with that form of sense, so what would be your argument against that?

The attacking forces had been caught off guard when A second army joined the fight. The new army had flanked them from the rear, however much of Luothark's army had already been defeated. The High Blue Minion summoned it's other High Minions and summoned a magic projection of Alexander. "Master." it said happily "The second army has arrived!"

 

Alexander stood in his throne room after Apocolypse's departure. Suddenly, a projection of his High Blue Minion appeared in the canter of the room. "Master." he said happily "The second army has arrived"! Alexander's face changed into a cruel smirk. "Excellent work, minion." he said approvingly, "I shall be there shortly". He drew out his map of the surrounding area, which included the location of enemy towers. He memorized the location of the forwsts and brush in the area, and reached out with his mastery over shadows. A spot under a tree will have to do. In a blink of an eye, he was gone.

 

Alexander reappeared on the battlefield, just outside the perimeter of the surrounding forests. He was fairly light-headed, never using a teleport from such long distances before. When he had pulled himself together. He saw the bloodbath. Minions from all allegiances were fighting all around him. He saw how the lesser prepared and and armed army of Luithark was all but finished. He also noticed Lillith's army. They were better prepared, but his army was still superior in arms. The battle will play out quite soon.

 

Then the game will truly be afoot.

Luithark- Feeling useless I decided to use some magic of my own,"Let's see if this works." I murmured some words and drew a fake line with my fingers. Then I acted like I was pushing open drapes. Where the line would have been appeared a full view of the battle. Lilith had arrived, good. Many minions on both sides were down, sorta good. And then out of the corner of her eye she saw what appeared to be Alexander. Bad.

 

Yah, she really needed to get out.

(It would have to be a very advanced technique to measure what is in effect a distance equal to an atomic diameter, somewhere in the order of 1/10th of a nanometre (10 to the negative 8 centimetres). Trying to remember my physics now.... brain is going to ache in a moment. Hissing implies use of echolocation/ sound waves. Echolocation uses soundwaves to determine distance, wavelength of sound is in the order of centimeters, so wouldn't be able to detect that difference. To read that difference one would need to use a wave of approx equal wavelength in this case X-ray/gamma ray region of the EM spectra. Most known methods of producing these are rather harmful to organic beings, at least to Carbon based lifeforms, which I think Xenomorphs still are despite the different origins.

Seeing through walls could be explained by X-Ray... but those images are more centred around the different density that for example, bone has compared to skin tissue, so walls, if of sufficient density, could block X-Rays.... OMG... we just turned an RP section into a science lesson )

 

The tower crew were getting on with their various tasks, patrols still keeping an eye on the city perimeter, Blues either resting or chanting. The healer's brewing room had been setup, now the 2 Browns were observing the healer at work.

By this time the front line Browns were engaged in their own fight, mostly sucsessful in keeping melee from the Reds... those that did get past were fired on by the Reds. The Reds were inflicting casualties, but the Blues were hard pressed to keep all the minions healed, losses would be unaviodable among Lilith's army. Lilith told the tireing Blues to conserve their energy for the Reds and themselves.

((Well, the Xeno's are silicone based rather then carbon based, but carbon is part of the molecules needed to create silicone. Their body also contains protein polysaccharides

And Yeah, I finished AP bio in Highschool, got accepted for a Bio degree, but hate Chem >>. Anyways, these creatures don't show up on X-ray so it could be assumed that such things do not affect it. And due to how its echo location is so much more advanced then anything else I guess one couldn't actually say exact things, neither as I can. Hence I lost the argument and have to choose some other way for him to know what was written... Telepathy?))

 

Apocalypse looked up as a breathless minion ran from one of his gates. Apocalypse looked at the red and tilted his head happily. The minion looked stressed out, scared slightly too. Apocalypse listened to what it had to say, and it was funny news. It appeared that a battle was taking place, and the winner would influence the rest of the competition. He thought about some things and decided that he might as well help his ally. He called up his higher minions. "Alright, so I need you do me a favor... Wait... No, not a favor, but a task. I need you to guard Alexander's tower. I'll open a gate on top of his tower and you step through and guard it. If you meet any of his own minions help them." He said and watched the minions talk among themselves. "Take a quarter of our own forces" He added after he realized they were bickering about how many to send. He stood, he should go and watch the battle. But Unless Alexander asked him to help he wouldn't. He looked up surprised when he heard a scream from one of his gate guards. He stood, in one hand his blade, in the other a ball of flames. He watched the guard run inside weapon drawn and bleeding lightly. Apocalypse started to laugh when he saw Shadow sneak in. He motioned for it to come closer and frowned when he saw the blood. "Alexander?" He asked, so far he only knew that Alexander had faced Shadow. Shadow nodded and its tail tried to cover one of the cuts but that didn't help.

 

Apocalypse sighed and used the same spell as on the blue to use his abilities over gravity to close the skin and keep the blood in. But unlike the minion he also made it so that the Xenomorph could make the blood spill at will if the wound reopened. He smiled and walked toward a gate which just ripped through the ground. He stepped through, Shadow close behind him. Apocalypse was near the tree line watching the battle from afar. From here he could see most of the battle play out, and his massive bulk made it so that he could easily be spotted. Shadow climbed onto Apocalypse's back and rested his chin on the great demon's shoulder, his tail snaking around Apocalypse's body so that he would be able to feel Apocalypse more. He missed the old demon, and the demon missed his Shadow. Together they made a strong team, together they were worth many minion's lives.

Lilith hissed quietly to herself as she spotted a large bulky figure observing the battle from a distance. The image that Shadow had sent was quite clear in her mind, she had no doubt that it was the demon Overlord observing this battle.

 

(Wonder if demon blood can recognise other demon blood.... that may make things interesting if it can... considering Lilith's a halfblood demon. Also what would most demons think of halfbloods?!?)

 

She deliberately turned away from the demon to concentrate on the battlefield. Her first concern had to be tactics, not some previously projected image.

Lokie got off the floor and sat on the throne. All these years living in hiding was not good for his bones and teleportation really didn't help. Ah i remember when I used to break the laws of time and space, I always hated it idiotic teachers at the academy.

Well now what should i do first with this run down old tower...

 

He ordered for twenty red minions twenty green minions twenty blue minions and forty brown minions.

 

Blue minions come forth he commanded. I need you to hunt some large ocean animals go now!

 

Green minions you must find a powerful stead for myself but you can not kill it yet, but you can kill as many other beast you like. you will be escorted by ten browns.

 

Reds you will go down to the graveyard and bring me the lest decayed corpses.

 

Browns you will build fortifications. Build walls a gate fix this crumbling tower. After wards you will return to the tower and wait.

 

After giving his orders, he got off the stone throne and said: Ugh, even in death thrones are to rough on me i will have to get it padded latter.

Apocalypse felt Shadow enter his mind and smiled at the familiar presence. "peace or war?" the odd voice that Shadow had chosen as its own asked him. "war..." apocalypse answered and chuckled as the Xenomorphes mind stayed in his. They shared information, tactics,many just talked. Shadow told him everything he had gathered,maw, and done. Apocalypse told him of the peace treaty. He felt anger come from Shadow but shrugged it off. "Hes a strong warrior, he makes a great addition" he said and Shadow nodded, being content as he learned of the master plan, as he learned what the fates of the others would be.

Luithark- I decided to make my.. 'captured' presence more noticed. Maybe a small distraction. Using some of my mermaid skills (Mermaids are magical creatures, so of course they can predoce spells like such) I enlarged the projection of the battle and added some mist to it so not all of my minions where abouts were known. Making it so large that it was a s tall as my tower and as big as one of the largest villages nearby, made it very faint. But it still attracted the attention I was seeking.
