X-Men: The End

Recommended Posts

The boy woke up. "Do I know you?" He asked her. "Kelvyn Jigsaw." He muttered. He looked up the girl. "Your name, and why did you just break into my motel room in which I paid for, by the way?" The boy shrugged. "What the heck... You're welcome to stay as long as you won't interrupt me whatsoever." The boy laughed. He didn't wear a shirt as he didn't really expect anyone. He was just wearing a pair of a belted jeans and white sport socks to keep his feet warm. "Hold on." Kelvyn walked a little bit, then when he thought she couldn't see him he blinked to a nearby tanktop and wore it. "Okay, as you was saying?"

~Asashi~

((this is a bit long. It's basically how Asashi got to SHIELD, for those who would rather skip))

Two hours ago...

"Hey buddy! Long time no see!"

"Hi, Joe. Wow, you're... just the same as three years ago."

"Dude, times are changin' so someun's gotta stay the same, right?"

"Yeah, sure."

"Oh... right. Forgot 'bout that. But don worry 'bout it, soon your trub'll be no more!"

"Great, I'm looking forwards to it."

"Hey, chill out dude. If push comes ta shove, I can always try to put yer original memories back. It's complicated to explain and takes alotta brilliance I dun feel like accessing, but technically your mind could start ta remember things if I start t'give you y'powers back. Oh, and here's the fake Com suite. I'll keep y'tech one all nicen' safe. So, ready?"

"....."

"Man up."

"Right, sorry. Ready."

"Alright! Let's get this oveh wit..."

One Hour Ago...

Ding dong!

"I'll get it father! Ha, funny they'd ring the front door! I thought they might just beam me up to a UFO or something!"

Asashi Leo Nethofelshi was an ordinary teenage kid with one little secret; he had recently accidentally discovered he had 'awesome' mutant powers. He could spit blackish smoke from his mouth (though he had no idea what it did) and he could become 'dead' for seconds at a time and return to his body. Asashi had whipped up an awesome but cheap outfit and given himself the name Com, then run on out to a burning building and attempted to save some peoples' lives. Well, he hadn't totally succeeded, but it had been wicked awesome to try.

Asashi normally stayed out of his father's police work with mutants and settled to studying law enforcement by himself, but recently he had gotten a bit more interested in mutants since he knew he was one. He was a generally happy person with no secrets to hide and not a worry in the sky... well, except for SHIELD. It was totally awesome that he would get to work for them, but he was a bit concerned that they might find out his power and fire him. He was mostly concerned that they'd tell his father.

Now, dressed in a nice business suite, Asashi rushed towards the front door of the Nethofelshi mansion to greet the representative from SHIELD that was waiting for him. He swung the door wide open in excitement, but stopped short when he saw three men pointing stun-guns at him. Immediately the two inner-door guards pointed their own weapons at the men outside, and Asashi feared the worst. A moment later, however, an older man with dusty brown hair and slick black sunglasses tapped the shoulder of one of the men with stun-guns, and all three put their weapons down. The man had an unlit cigar in one hand and a clipboard in the other. He raised a brow at the sight of Asashi.

Asashi quickly told his own men to put their guns down, then turned back to the man in front of him and smiled politely. "Hello, I'm--" "Asashi, right? I know, kid. Where's your dad?" "Right here!" Leo Nethofelshi strode towards the door, all dressed up in his police uniform. He had a serious look on his face, but the representative from SHIELD could see right through it; Leo Nethofelshi was dead excited for his son to get such a prestigious job. Yup, just as clueless as I thought. The boy doesn't seem to be suspicious at all either. Maybe our intelligence was wrong--he doesn't look like he knows as much as we thought he does. Ah well, with powers like his we'll make something out of him.

Paper work was completed, goodbyes were said, and Asashi was escorted by the agent and his guards to a black limo. "Here's the deal, kid: you sit next to me in the back, we have two security guards behind us and one up front next to the driver. You don't touch anything and don't say anything stupid, and we'll let you ride conscious. Got it?"

Asashi nodded, suddenly feeling nervous. "Yes sir." The agent frowned. "Sir? My father's 'sir'. You'll call me Agent Brown." Asashi nodded again. "As you wish, Agent Brown." They entered the limo. Asashi looked one more time back at the mansion where he had grown up. Such a peaceful place; nothing odd had ever happened until Asashi discovered his powers two weeks ago. He wondered what exactly SHIELD had in store for him....

Present:

From black limo to helicopter to blue limo to private jet, and finally to wherever SHIELD was. By then, even though he had tried to keep track, Asashi had no idea where they were. It was the private jet ride that had messed him up the most. After going through an hour of security procedures, Asashi was brought into SHIELD, and his adventure began...

~Asashi will not be RPed probably for the next few pages of RP as he goes through several changes in SHIELD. I'll send a 'new character sheet' for Asashi to LL when the time for him to return to action comes. In the meantime, I don't think any other mutants working for SHIELD would know about Asashi's arrival. His mind was read and he was found to know very much less than they thought, but his powers could be useful if channeled and enhanced properly. And so, training has begun...~

((Here's my shot at an intro. I customized Krys' color, aiming for a light teal, so it won't be the same as anyone else's.))

Krys

Fwip! Pung! The small, shiny blade whipped through the air and stuck, point first, into the dilapidated wood of the old tree-house. Krys tossed the second blade into the air and caught it by the tip. She weighed it in her hand and flicked it off in the same direction as the first. The second small dagger landed precisely two inches to the right and half an inch below the first. She grimaced. It had landed too low.

Krys rocked forwards onto her knees and crawled over to the opposite wall, prying the blades from the woodwork. The sound of a car pulling into the driveway caused her to quickly refasten the small dagger-sheaths and slip the weapons into their secret box under the floor-board. She rolled her shoulders to ensure her wings were tucked in and concealed beneath her sweater. Who knew what would happen if her foster parents discovered any of this? She ducked out of the hatch and slid down the tree-trunk, changing branches nimbly and finally dropping into a crouch beneath the tree.

She lifted a hand in greeting as Tina Mesconi, Krys' foster mom climbed out of the car. "Back already, dear?"

Krys nodded "Yes ma'am, my analytical calculus class was cancelled. The teacher, Mr. Brubaker is sick again. Mrs. Mesconi nodded, shifting uncomfortably, unsure what to say next.

She ran her hand through her short auburn hair and Krys was suddenly struck with a vivid image of her real mom, auburn hair, hazel eyes, always with that smell of horses clinging to her.

"Would you like to go inside?" Tina asked, "I could get out some of Mrs Rodriguez's tres-leche cake."

Krys swallowed the lump in her throat and shook her head, "I think I'm just going to go up to my room. I'm not hungry. Without waiting for a response, she turned and sprinted to the barn, not bothering to explain why she wasn't ACTUALLY going to her room. She hauled open the heavy wooden door and collapsed into a pile of clean hay filling one of the empty stalls. The box-stall smelled like grain-stalks and dried grass. The scent of horses was barely distinguishable, almost gone, but definitely there. The Mesconi's had owned horses at one point.

Beneath the scents of hay and horses, Krys picked up the vague lingering essence of smoke or ash. This barn where Krys, the living phoenix, was taking solace, had once burned with flames like the ones that had engulfed her parents' house. She felt sobs rising in her chest, but she suppressed them, finding comfort in the fact that the barn had survived, had been rebuilt, had lived on.

Maybe then, so had her parents....

WILLOW

Willow’s eyes returned to their normal size, and she blushed. “No. You don’t know me.” Examining the memory she had of the boy, she discovered that it actually wasn’t hers , just one she had stolen from a stranger. The boy started walking, and Willow’s head turned so she could keep him in sight. “I just…” The boy vanished from sight for a moment before reappearing and speaking again. “I was kinda looking for… stuff I guess. And I… well…” She paused, not too sure what more to say. She looked around a little. The boy had said she could stay…Willow untied her shoes and took of her jacket. She wasn’t particularly keen on standing there with only her tank top covering her skin, but for some reason her jacket was a tad bit warm for the motel room.

“My name’s Will by the way,” she said, deciding the boy might want to know the name of the person he just invited to stay. Wanting to stay out of his way, Willow climbed up on top of the dresser and sat there with her legs dangling of the edge.

"Nice to meet you Will." Kelvyn laughed. "Well, feel free staying here as if it was your home, I guess. Just that tomorrow I'll be heading somewhere else." Kelvyn mentioned. "It's okay, I know you're a mutant. So do I." Kelvyn laughed. "Now, how do I know? Not a mindreader, oh no. I am a biological mutant. I can read your biologic DNA, wealth... I can even tell when you're ill. But leave that aside." Kelvyn muttered as he sat on his bed. He got up and extended his hand to shake Will's hand. "The Flesh, is my nickname." Kelvyn told her. "And biological reading isn't my only power. But how about you? I just keep talking and talking. You go now."

William and 'Doggy' held on tightly as something happened, though neither was quite sure what, and they were suddenly somewhere else! A base even... underground, amazing! Well William thought it was Amazing... unfortunately 'Doggy' had also inherited Nightcrawler's fear of small spaces... small being defined as not being able to telleport out of them because he couldn't see outside.

"Question," Doggy asked as he set Will, who was still staring around in child like awe, down. "Will the... others... freak out less if I'm walking around like an undead x-man or a giant wolf? Note that I can only speak to you in one of these forms..." The two of them followed after Moira.

Jason gave Ziva a sympathetic smile. "We're close enough to smell freedom love, I'm not letting you get killed before that. I know you may be the deadliest agent SHIELD has, but doing a stakeout improves your life expectancy... so we're doing one and that... is that." During his time speaking he was setting up camp. Spreading camouflage over the area, followed by heat deflective netting to keep infrared from picking them up. He then positioned the AutoCam so that it would record movement in and out of the manhole and the surrounding area and check any and all people who entered or left against the police and SHIELD files based on however much of their faces it picked up.

Ziva was right, stakeouts were boring, at least now that technology literally did everything for them except set itself up of course. Jason finished his work and looked back at her and smiled, coming over and running a finger down her cheek, now studded with growing fur at her transformation. He knew she was probably annoyed by the unexpected and unpreventable sudden change of appearance, and he tried to make it as good for her as he could.

"I can't decide if you're more beautiful with the ears tail and fur... or without... it's such a hard choice!" he grinned impudently at her. "Tell you what, take the other cams out and set the perimeter security, when you come back I'll have camp laid out and a meal ready, then we can kill some time doing something fun..." he tapped the side of his head and winked. "if you want." It had been a long time now since they had shared their hearts and thoughts together in his mind and he was looking forward to it, and hoped she was as well. It would help keep them on the same page and they could work out all their differences, frustrations... and grow closer in understanding one another. It was really something he treasured greatly.

Moira

Moira shook her head at Nightcrawler's question as a large wolf walked up to them. "There is already a wolf that prowl's around her and her attitude sucks." she said glaring at Nerissa who merely huffed and held her tail high as she obviously rebelled against Moira's authority. "Hurry up and make sure that there is food Nerissa." she stated and watched as her magnificent creation transformed into a human andriod.

"Please would be nice." she stated but by Moira's look, she meant now without a please.

"And tell...nevermind." she stated as a large tiger also walked their way and purred as he sat by Moira and looked at the two beside him.

"Nicandro?" the animal asked Moira who shook her head in a negative way. "No, my new charge." she said and automatically, Nerissa, Aaus, Renji and Ichigo knew that he was their charge as well. "Now, William and Will...there is a combat room where you can do what you need." She said and walked towards the room to show them then stopped. "But first, please rest before then."

Her steps turned towards the room where she was supposed to sleep. You could tell it was her room by the many different plants growing as well as the chemistry set in the corner along with various minerals setting on a desk with the chemistry set. "It's not much, but I'll have breakfast ready soon." she stated knowing that it was now at least five in the morning. her eyes were heavy but things had to be done to get William and Will integrated into the system of how things went. With this being the only safe place, she would have to be tied down here especially with her promise.

"And once the young one is asleep, and if you feel safe doing so, you can come and ask whatever questions you have in the kitchen." At that moment Nerissa came trotting back in her wolf form and nodded to Moira that there was definitely food there. "Aaus, Renji, stay with the boy. He's seen you two before and if his older counterpart decides to leave, you protect him with your life." The two jumped off of her shoulders and now stood on either side of her door waiting for the older William/nightcrawler to make a choice.

Moira didn't wait however, and walked down to the kitchen to start a pot of coffee. She needed it desperately even though she knew it wasn't the best thing for her...ever. But she made it anyways and even started to get the food out. There were eggs, bacon, bread, cereal, fruit. She knew where the fruit came from, but how did Nicandro afford all of this? Maybe his employer gave it to him? She didn't know, didn't care, only knew that she had to make something for this boy. Today was going to be hard for him....oh so miserably hard from what she could tell.

Faline

Ziva listened as Jason spoke and he seemed to take authority over the situation which only made her smile as she watched the man-hole wondering what was going to go on. The poor dear couldn't focus all that well because of her transformation which was always an embarrassing thing to her even if Jason tried not to make it so. It made her feel more animal than human which was hard to deal with because of the change of thought processes that went on.

When Jason walked up beside her, she actually jumped a little bit but then looked at him in a shocked way. It really was impudence that she just heard in his voice... why the cheeky little! Ziva laughed at herself as her transformation slowed down and reversed slightly so that she would be able to do as requested without having animal thoughts of hunting and killing and surviving taking over her mind.

He tempted her with a ready camp, meal and time to spend with each other just sharing thoughts about their differences and similarities, something that she held on to like a precious gem in her heart. "Okay!" she said and kissed him tenderly before running off in a normal pace to the back of the car and pulling out all she needed. It took her at least half an hour to set up all of the cameras correctly with their wireless signals all directed to the computer that Jason had. SHe knew well enough to give them a wide perimeter and placed the cameras around 5-10 ft apart. it used a lot of cameras, but she wasn't going to have anyone sneaking up on her, even if she could smell them.

WILLOW

“I was kinda heading somewhere myself.” Where that somewhere was, Willow didn’t know, but when did she? She just continued walking until she found a place to stay, and then she usually left shortly after. Kelvyn continued chatting, and Willow looked a little startled as he mentioned knowing she was a mutant. Her expression relaxed a little bit however as he explained that he was a mutant as well and why he knew she was one. Kelvyn stood up and reached his hand out towards her, and Willow scooted as far back on the dresser as she could, staring at the hand like it might bight her.

“Copycat. Or at least, Jake called me that.” Willow said, thinking back to the summer she had spent in Maine. It had been the longest she had ever been in one place, and it had mostly (okay, more like totally) been because of Jake. Willow returned back to the present and looked from Kelvyn’s face, to his hand and back to his face. “And I’m touch sensitive” She said, playing with the fingerless gloves on her hands, “Meaning I’m not a big fan of shaking hands.”

"I see, no problem." Kelvyn said. "There's not much to say now, feel free to do whatever you want... as long as it's not raping me or something." Kelvyn smiled at her laughing a little. "Well, I'm off to bed for now." He opened a side-bed for Will, as she seemed a little tired and he wanted to be a good host, despite the fact that he wasn't the actual host. The actual host was the hotel. He shrugged and let that mind go away. "Hmm, Jake... Whatever, I guess. Nice name, Copycat. Call me The Flesh, if you'd like." Kelvyn unmade his bed and went in it as he tried to sleep.

(So, Willow is taken? o3o)

"There's not much to say now, feel free to do whatever you want... as long as it's not raping me or something." Willow chuckled a bit at Kelvyn’s comment. “You missed the ‘I don’t touch people if I can avoid it’?” She said, smiling. She continued to sit on the dresser as Kelvyn/The Flesh (she wasn’t too sure what she wanted to call him quite yet…) opened a side-bed, her feet dangling in small circles.

"Hmm, Jake... Whatever, I guess. Nice name, Copycat. Call me The Flesh, if you'd like." Willow made a noise of agreement and tried to keep her smile from growing too much until Flesh went to bed. He had sounded… jealous? Of Jake? Willow giggled to herself and jumped gracefully of the dresser. She felt silly for reacting like this over a boy she had met mere minutes ago, but she couldn’t help but feeling flattered. Reactions like these were rare.

Deciding to have a quick shower before going to bed, Willow headed towards the room’s tiny bathroom. She grabbed her one pair of shorts from her bag on her way to the bathroom, thinking they were more comfortable to sleep in than the jeans she was wearing. Not for the first time, Willow was rather glad that she never threw things away if she could avoid it.

Willow took a quick shower, dried off and put on her shorts and tank-top. She dropped everything on her bag and crawled into the bed. She didn’t notice just how tired she actually was until her head hit the pillow.

((Nope, Willow's not taken :] Not that easy to find a crush when you've spent all your life (or what you remember of it at least) alone on the street tongue.gif))

((cool. Whaddah ya say if they wake up cuddled?))

The boy sighed out of sleep and started sleep-talking... "Willow... Will" he said asleep. In his dreams, he was curious of her. Willow seemed like a nice gal but Kelvyn didn't realize why was he dreaming about her. The boy sighed again as he felt dizzy. He got out of the bed trying not to wake Will up. He went to the toilet, he felt noxious. "Ugh..." the boy said as he examined the surroundings. Everything moved, it was rotating and cyrcling around him. His eyes turned pale white, without irises nor pupils. He looked like a zombie, but that is how he looks when he is sick.

~Sophira~

In and out, back and forth, Sophira went here and there until she was certain she had memorized where almost all of the doors were in the underground complex. It wasn't super huge, but it was definitely large enough for the amount of people it held and more. Now we just need some quick, inconspicuous way to travel from here to the mainland, she decided.

Not like there was much she could do about it. Speaking of doing, I should get training, Sophira decided. She had found the door to the training room half an hour ago and now walked that way, glancing up at the plain walls once in a while. Maybe I could decorate, hang a few pictures here and there. If I'm going to live here, I should contribute somehow! Sophira sighed quietly as she reached the door to the training room. She opened it slowly, not wanting to disturb anyone who might be in there.

To her surprise, Siren was in there. Sophira almost closed the door, but she was awestruck by the other girl's dancing. Siren moved like she was floating through the air and made the whole thing look effortless. Everything she did was perfectly timed and in sync with everything else she did. Sophira stood and watched, smiling slightly, but then decided perhaps it would be best to just let Siren dance. She began to close the door.

|Ren}

Ren had stuffed herself. She had gobbled down beef jerky, tomatoes, raw chives, hot peppers, bell peppers, and even dirty carrots from the garden. None of it would kill her; no, there was only one way Ren could die, and that was a secret she wouldn't give up. Why did she eat so much, and such things that had no good taste? Because she could. In her life she had killed over one-hundred people and taken their memories, and from this she had learned thousands of new skills. She knew how to make nail polish, skin rabbits, make kilts and even speak Chinese. She knew so many things and had learned them in such a short time that often her mind just... well, crashed. Or at least, that was how she saw it. But she loved it, every bit of it. She didn't regret any skill or piece of knowledge she had ever learned, though she did regret some of the kills she had made. But those were of the past, and Ren didn't often dig into her own past.

When most of the garden was either destroyed or eaten, Ren immediately became impatient with Understood. "Where is the tentative ally Understood? She is still in the dead mutant's house, and she is searching for information is the guess I have already made." Ren pouted slightly, glancing at the body again. "I could have obtained information." Then her face brightened quite suddenly. "Perhaps Understood would like me to travel with her, and take information so she does not have to! But..." she frowned again, "Understood may not trust my judgement. Hmmm." Ren crossed her arms, then made up her mind.

She approached one of the windows to the house and looked in. Understood had already been through there, so Ren went to the next window. Unfortunately for her the house didn't have many windows, and she couldn't see her ally from any of them. Ren tightened her fist and closed her eyes, then allowed her fist to smash through one of the windows. It crashed to pieces, making a hole just large enough that Ren could get a running leap into the house. She grimaced at the pain in her hand, but she did not hesitate to back up and leap through the broken window, rolling to her feet once on the inside. She was in a room with papers all over, most of them blank. She looked around the room, suddenly curious of her surroundings.

WilliamandDoggy

Doggy nodded, emotionless. "No, it needs to be done soon, he will rest once the process is complete. Then I will be gone and he can ask you what he needs and explain things as he wishes to."

Doggy took William's hand and tried to lead him in that direction but William took hold of Moira's leg. "Don't leave me alone..." he looked up at her, pleading in his young eyes, and fear.

Doggy hissed between his teeth but didn't remove William forcefully. "It would be... easier... for him if you came with, but I wish you wouldn't." Doggy replied strangely. It was one of the few things he had his own opinion about, even if it was better that William have someone there to help him get through the pain, it was private, it was William at his worst, and Doggy didn't want anyone to see the pain.

"No!" William begged, grasping Moira's leg with surprising strength for the look of his skinny little arms. "Please don't leave... I don't want to be alone anymore..." William wasn't looking anywhere anymore, he had buried his face in Moira's leg, and had his eyes closed tightly.

JASON

Jason smiled as Ziva loped off into the woods with the gear. As promised he quickly got to work on finishing camp. Soon he had strung up overhead cover to disguise them from overhead surveillance and also any rain that might come down. He quickly set out food as well, they couldn't afford to cook anything because of the need for fire or some sort of exothermic reaction that would give them up to infrared detection even with the netting in place. He didn't much mind though, tunafish was best eaten cold, Ziva would enjoy that he knew. As for himself, he had packed several of SHIELD's EEMs (Energy Efficient Meals) that would suffice.

After setting out the food he called Shini to his side and transformed him into a sword. He made sure Ziva wasn't back yet and took a deep breath, standing in the midst of the camp, he took the blade and shoved it into his chest, breaking through ribs and piercing his heart. The pain was incredible as always and a large among of blood immediately burst from his body out of his chest and back but before it even hit the ground it became a black haze that swirled around him, dissolving the sword and the wound and then flying into his eyes as if being sucked in by a vacuum.

"Huuuuuhhhh!" Jason took a deep breath, coughing lightly as he quickly found and placed his sunglasses on his face. The entire campground was covered in his darkness, but with a few steadying breaths to regain his composure and concentration, he withdrew the darkness until it only covered his skin like flowing water cascading down his body and reversing direction as it flowed about his skin.

He sighed, pointing at the EEM case and watching it melt open at his prompting. He was looking forward to this... he'd been preparing for this specifically as a gift to Ziva to make up for the weeks of training they had both endured under SHIELD before they had finally allowed them to head out on this assignment.

Moira

Moira had been about to put things into place for cooking when a desperate William clung to her leg pulling at her heart. The pain and terror that this young boy must feel, must be excruciating. Moira had no other choice but to gently place a hand on Williams head as she listened to Doggy. "Hmm," she smirked at him before finishing what she was about to say. "I usually don't do the things that others wish me to do. Most of the time I do what they ask."

When william cried out "No!" Moira gently, but firmly pried his arms off of her and held his face gently in her hands. "It's alright William. I'll come." she said and, gently picked the boy up in her arms not wanting him to be afraid, not wanting him to be alone. She knew the feeling and knew that it wasn't something that was fun, for anyone other than possibly some sick psycho like Militia.

Moira took them first to her lab and inquired if Doggy would need anything and if he did say that he needed anything, she grabbed it quickly for him after setting William down on one of the counters. "Stay here for a moment." she stated. She wanted her glasses so that she could get rid of this infernal headache and she needed to change out of her wet clothing. When she came back out, she was in a pair of sweats and a light tank top with her normal labcoat over everything. Her pockets were filled with whatever Doggy may hae requested and she picked William back up and walked to the training room.

When they walked in, the room was already occupied so Moira, not meaining to be gruff, sat William on the ground and quickly placed up a wall around the area that she, William and Doggy would be in. Hopefully the girls wouldn't be frightened at that, but at least they would have the solid room the themselves instaed of having others join in...it wouldn't have been safe as far as Moira could figure. "There."

Ziva

Ziva jumped when she found all of her sense slightly dimmed. It was always annoying when he did that without warning...even if she knew that it was going to come at one point in time or another. But even then, it was still a little weird. Ziva placed the last camera and practically ran back to camp, but had to restrain herself to make sure that she wasn't too enthusiastic otherwise she might as well change back to a cat and run all day for the sheer joy of it.

After a few minutes, she was back in camp, her hair tied up high because of the afternoon sun that had come out even if it was starting to get cold. Her dress was the same, but she no longer had her shoes on. Ziva was met with the view of her fiance covered in the darkness that had allowed them to share so much and instead was not a darkness to her, but a light. A light of hope and promise.

Ziva smiled at Jason as she walked up behind him and gently tapped him on the shoulder. "Cameras placed sir!" she saluted him jokingly with a girlish smile showing that the Ziva that wasn't so twisted was still there, and happy to be near Jason.

William and Doggy WilliamandDoggy Willianoggy Williggy Willgy Will

Doggy nodded, "just a change of clothes for myself. Something that would fit me." He waited patiently with William in the lab until Moira came back with the clothes and lead them into the training area. There were others there but she quickly isolated them with a wall on each side.

William looked up at her and smiled, there was still a bit of fear in his eyes but he was obviously glad she was there. William slipped into the larger clothes far to big for him with Doggy's help, slipping out of his own shirt and shorts. He swallowed and stood up, looking rather ridiculous in the over sized clothing.

"Whatever happens," Doggy said to Moira, "just stand perfectly still and you'll be fine, don't move, and don't touch us... until its over" With that word of warning he sat in front of William and took the boy's hands. Beginning at their hands a green glow spread over both of their bodies until their skin was covered in the florescent outline. Green tendrils shot out of Doggy's eyes and mouth, shooting into William's as his entire body seemed to dissolve into William's body. Then the entire room seemed to fade away into a white light, the training room shrank back into the background as if they had just traveled a hundred miles away in a second.

William lay on the ground, playing in the dirt outside a run down home, cornfields to his back and a dirt road before him. From the house came the sounds of shouting a man's voice, a woman's cries. Curiously William walked towards the house, not realizing what was happening, that father was drunk again, that it was like this every day... And he stepped into the door and met a hand driving into his chest and knocking him backwards out of the house. Moira felt the blow as well... and then it faded.

He flew through the air and suddenly everything was moving again, traveling at the speed of sound away from that place and into the middle of a mountain. Now William was older, a young teen and he landed from the blow on a cold metal floor. Shakily he drags himself to his feet, he's bleeding from more than a dozen flesh wounds but he hasn't made a sound. A man with a patch reading SHIELD asks him a question but there is no noise to hear, and again, a shadow out of nowhere, hits him, cuts him, and he falls to his knees. Moira feels the cut, the impact... and then it fades once more.

Even as that happens the image shifts again and they fall down down down for miles before his knees connect with the ground. Before him is a young girl, a man is holding a gun to her head and asking a silent question. William now looks to be about eighteen, his body is covered in scars. Moira can feel his longing, to give an answer to a question he cannot answer. "I love you..." the girl mouths the words to him and he wants to look away, but he can't, he won't leave her alone in her last moment... and then the flash from the muzzle of the rifle, and the scene fades into white.

The light is so faint you can barely make out the outline of William sitting against the wall of a cell. There's a book in his hands, he's crying, and Moira can feel the anger and the sadness inside him, he trows it against the wall of the cell and it vanishes into green light. He hangs his head, willing to die, wanting it even.

Darkness engulfs the scene and suddenly they're falling once again until they land in a pile of hay. Moira finds herself in the air, watching from a bird's eye view as two helicopter's landed and were destroyed along with their occupants in a series of brief firefights with an unseen attacker. Then there was William again, and night-crawler, standing over the corpses. One of the soldier's coughed and William turned his head, he raced over to the man, picked him up and his hand became a blade as he swung at the man's face. But suddenly the man was gone and Nightcrawler's blades were blocking his blow. Moira could feel his confusion and his anger, and frustration, and then the scene faded again.

Finally the world came into focus again, this time the location was obvious it was a church, people lined the pews, a man was in front of them saying something. Moira found herself lying next to Nightcrawler and William up in the rafters where no one would see them. William was crying and Nightcrawler had a comforting hand on his shoulder. Now William looked a little over twenty. Moira suddenly felt happy, more happy than she had her entire life... and then suddenly the training room raced back into reality and she found herself right where she had been, leaning back against... something supporting her, an arm... and she found William holding her up with one strong arm as she realized she had almost fallen over.

((if that's ok with you LL))

"Mrs. Moira," He smiled down at her, tears in his eyes, and he was obviously sweating. Apparently the process had been even harder on him than it was on her. "Thank you for staying, are you alright? Did you see... anything?" His voice was deeper, and showed genuine concern. He looked nothing like the twelve year old he had been earlier. He had obvious scars on just about every visible surface of skin Moira could see. His hair was longer.

He looks JUST LIKE THIS!

JASON

Jason smiled as she came back and they both ate their food quickly. Soon they were finished, neither having spoken a word. Jason could hardly keep from smiling throughout though, he had been working on this every spare moment he got, retreating into his own mind in order to work on the designs, making sure everything was just right. After weeks of work, and enduring SHIELD's torture, it was finally ready... he hoped. Ziva and him hardly ever had time alone, much less free time alone. This was his way of making up for it.

They sat facing one another once supper was thrown out and Jason took Ziva's hands. Grinning he concentrated and his blackness engulfed both of them, blasting out of his eyes and knocking his sunglasses off. And suddenly Ziva found herself in the middle of a forest, alone, pine trees on all sides of her. There was a river to her left and she stood on the bank. Snow covered the ground but it was surprisingly mild in temperature, certainly a bit too warm for snow to truly exist. A scent caught her nose, the smell of pine wood burning in a fire somewhere nearby.

"Caw Caw!" Shini flew over head, landing a few feet away and staring at her, then he took off again in the direction the fire smell was coming from. As Ziva followed him ((I'll just assume she does for now)), she came upon a clearing where Shini was grasped by Jin and became a sword again. Jason stood with a smile, sheathing the sword in its sheath at his side.

"Welcome to wonderland Alice." He grinned. He held out his hand and the campfire he had been sitting by disappeared. He stood up, stretching his large black wings. "Do you like them?" He asked with a smile. "It's so I can keep up with you, you don't have to worry about anything here... you can let yourself go, transform. Chase a deer, hunt. Whatever you can imagine, concentrate, and it will appear." To prove his point, Jason snapped his fingers and a large rose bush grew up into his hand. He broke a white rose off at the stem and flapped his wings once, carrying him over to her and placing the rose in her hair with a smile, kissing her cheek. "Whatever you want, I'll do my best to make it, I've been practicing for a long time now."

Moira

Moira nodded when Nightcrawler told her not to move once the process had begun. But against his orders, she did move and held her hand in front of her eyes when a bright light surrounded her after a green light illuminated both Nightcrawler and William. It was hard for her to see for a moment but when she could again, her kind green eyes beheld a little boy playing in the dirt on some sort of farm. But there was shouting going on and when she could see, she saw that his parents were arguing over something but then she felt something hit her hard on her chest...

The next few scenes drew tears to her eyes and they slid silently down her cheeks even as she felt the immense happiness that she hadn't even come near since she knew that she was going to America to try and find a better life.

But when it was all said and done, Moira found herself weak from the experience and actually being supported by someone that she didn't even know...or at least....

When her eyes focused, Moira almost felt like she was looking at Nicandro which surprised her, but he wasn't this strong, nor was he the same height as Moira who stood at 5'5. It seemed like forever as she looked up at this man and knew that it was Will. She just knew it. Well, how could it NOT be William? He was the only one there that side of the wall that they were behind and Nightcrawler....William... had stated that it would be like this.

She stood up on her own for a moment and backed away to get a better view of him and from what she could see, life had not been kind to him. "I saw a lot." she said in her thick, hardly understandable Irish accent. "And don't call me Mrs.....or Miss....." she said with a frown since she had to take everything in. "Are you alright?" she asked her tone changing from one to slight admonishment, to one of worry.

Ziva

Ziva had enjoyed every last bite of her tuna fish and enjoyed every last flake, she even drank the juices. It was a bit embarrassing though that her breath smelled of tuna so she reached behind her and grabbed a piece of gum from her purse before feeling Jason reach for her hands. She turned back around and for a moment everything was completely dark, but when she looked again, they were int he snow...but it wasn't snow. It was almost like walking on cotton candy even though it still crunched beneath her feet and felt cold to the touch.

Shini, her favorite crow, landed in front of her, almost asking her to come with him and she did so knowing that wherever Shini lead, Jason was sure to be there and there he was. But his appearance was something of a shock to her. He looked healthier, like he did when she first met him instead of too skinny because of a lack of a good meal. Just thinking of it made her wish that they had never joined SHIELD, but then again this was the perfect time to forget that.

The smell of the firewood was tantalizing as she looked up a small knoll to find Jason sitting there. But as she walked up, he stood up flexing large black wings up over his head making her stare in wonder at him. She was breathless at the beauty of such a gift from him...such a dear treasure.

When he flapped over to her and placed a perfect white rose in her hair, Ziva blushed like a young girl who was going on her first date. And her blush grew darker when Jason kissed her on the cheek. "Jason, I love your wings." She said and decided to think herself into clothing that she had always dreamed of wearing. Jeans and a button up shirt. When she concentrated hard enough, she had a pair of comfortable, but not too loose, jeans and a shirt that was tucked into her jeans with the arms cut off and one button undone from the top. This was comfortable. Her feet were still bare as she thought of how she would love to walk with him in the snow and actually...

In a moments notice, Ziva sped a small distance away from him and made a snowball. This snowball was compact and hard and she thought very hard about it being cold. With a devious and playful grin, Ziva threw two more snowballs at Jason after she threw the first....the fight was on!

When someone came crashing through the window behind her Elyon dropped the files she had been reading and spun around. As she did so she grabbed both of her pistols and aimed them at the interloper. It was that girl again.

Keeping her pistols trained on the girl Elyon glanced briefly at the hole in the wall where the door had been. Surely walking through that would have been a lot easier than leaping through the window? Obviously this girl was not right in her mind and therefore could be dangerous. She would need to be handled carefully.

"What do you want?" demanded Elyon.

((urgh... I got whatever Dr. Paine had, so I've been sick past few days. Catching up on RPs now))

~Ren~

Understood did just what Ren hoped she would do: she came, pistols in hands. Ren was amazed that Understood hadn't shot yet; obviously the girl had much training, and might have been so unfortunate as to be one of the many who had been trained since childhood... or one of the few who were brainwashed.

Ren followed Understood's gaze to the hole where the door was and smiled, then met her eyes. "What do you want?"

"I want to help you, Understood," Ren said quickly. Excitement burned in her eyes, and her body tensed. "I'm getting bored, sooo bored, Shooter has not given me an assignment when he should have. I do not know what is wrong with him... bad things happen when I get bored..."

Ren paused a moment, glancing with pleasure at the pistols. "I will stay out of your way now, but I would like to assist you... if your main source of direction in life will so graciously allow me." By the last words Ren of course meant Understood's superiors.

"I can be of assistance to the greatest, and I believe by what I have seen that your assignment is to assassinate and search the belongings of several mutants. You are a mutant, are not you? Surely you have enough control over your own mind to realize that I am as well? If your goal is to get rid of dangerous mutants, I know of a few I can bring right to your doorstep."

Ren was pretty proud of her use of the figure of speech and she grinned to show it. Her teeth were surprisingly straight, though there were bits and pieces of beef jerky and vegetables here and there. If Ren hadn't been such a mess, she could have been quite a nice looking young lady... but as it was, most people would immediately be able to identify her as insane. Not that she was so much insane as knowledge-overloaded. There were still a few people whose knowledge she longed to steal, a few people who knew things she desperately wanted to know... but hey, she had her whole life in front of her and she was certain she could wait.

Jason put up his wings reflexively as Ziva hurled the snowball. He took a deep breath as it hit him, it was freezing! She was definitely too good at this... That thought crossed his mind as a dozen other projectiles found themselves flying in his direction.

"You're not imagining enough!" He smiled, using his wings to shield himself as he reached down and grabbed the snow as if it was a huge carpet and cracked it up and down like a whip, sending a wave of snow in Ziva's general direction. He knew she was fast enough to dodge the wave if she wanted... but he had other plans in mind. He closed his eyes and Shini took off with a happy caw as the snow in front of Jason began forming into the shape of crows and took flight, flying after Ziva.

"At least they're not homing pigeons!" Jason called out with a laugh. He had other things to show her, but for now... it was harmless fun, stress relief, even... play... something he was sure Ziva hadn't had enough of as a child... if any.

William!

William smiled at her, releasing her from his grip and taking an appropriate step back. "Better than I deserve," he winked at her as he stretched. He stretched as one might stretch when trying on a new pair of clothing, testing his ranges of motion in each joint as he settled into his real body.

He cracked his neck from side to side. "I've had worse." He adjusted the T-shirt and tucked it into his shorts. "I'm sorry to be a bother but that always leaves me half starved, you had said something about food earlier yes?"

His demeanor was completely different from that of Doggy or his boyish self. He was older, stronger, taller, obviously, but also happier, an oddity considering the obvious marks on hid body, speaking volumes about what he must have gone through at one point.

"Oh food but there's not time for everything! I need to meet everyone, before I have to change back." He smiled at Moira, "nice to meet you by the way Moira, for real that is. When I'm neither confined to the mind of a child or floating about outside myself as my subconscious, I hope they didn't give you too much trouble."

Ziva squealed...yes, she squealed in utter delight at the snow that was coming towards and was about to dash aside when she noticed that the snow turned into crows! She gave a surprised gasp and turned to run but decided to stop and turn towards Jason instead. "Hehehe..." came a throaty laugh as she imagined the crows turning into deer....lots and lots of deer. When they fell to the ground they landed softly and looked around in surprise for a moment before staring at Jason and Ziva. With a chuckle, Ziva roared like a lion at the deer which promptly looked as if they were going to jump out of their skin and just the mere thought of that, had deer bounding away with their muscles showing as if it were through a piece of plastic all over them. "Cool!" she stated and then looked at Jason her eyes twinkling in the freedom that she knew they had. It was then that a thought entered her mind and she concentrated really, really hard.

It took a few minutes for the scenery to change, moving the mountainous, snowy area far away from them and presenting a large grassy meadow with a lake in the middle of it. The smell was crisp and clean, and the feel of grass underneath her feet, was something that she had not felt in awhile. "Tag your it!" she said as she dashed over to Jason, lightly punched him, and started to run away in a medium paced speed.

Moira was still take aback a little at the sudden change, but it didn't show on her face. She wanted to make sure that as long as William was in this form, that he was taken care of even if he was technically her elder. It was odd for her to see him this way...happy that is. Based on the way that Doggy was, she thought that he would have been more so melancholy or at least, well, she didn't really know. How could she know when this was something so new to her? At least she had her glasses on so she could see him well enough. "Uhm food. yes..." she stated and started to walk where a door had now appeared at her obvious summons.

"And as to the others, they are still asleep save for Sophira and Siren who are training in the next room. Uhm, okay, basic rundown of people that you will need-" she was stopped as Ichigo and Renji appeared in their tiger and dragon forms only to snarl and growl at William. "Idiots." was the only word she said which caused them to transform into their human forms with quizzical looks. "Catch his scent and send it to Nerissa and Aaus." Came her command and the two did so then ran off in the direction that they were heading.

"Well, those two idiots are Renji, the dragon, and Ichigo, the tiger. They have two siblings, Nerissa a wolf android and Aaus a reptilian android. They are my creations." she kept walking at a modest clip towards the kitchen where things were still standing out on the counter and still cool to the touch. With a flurry of white cloth, Moira stripped off her lab coat and tied up her flaming hair into a loose bun then slipped on an apron.

"The supposed leader is Nicandro, a strong telelpath with abilities in controlling metal and earth. Don't stare at his hands when you meet him...if you meet him. They are mechanical. His girlfriend and hopefully for the love of all that is good soon to be wife is Riley. She controls weather. Siren is able to put humans to sleep with her voice for as far as I know and Sophira can take people's wounds from them and put them upon herself. There were others earlier, but I think that our main foe, Militia, has converted them. Militia is a man that can multiply his being so that each of them are an exact replica of himself capable of doing all that he can."

She stopped for a moment as she quickly cracked half a dozen eggs into a pan and added some ham from a baggy into it as well as some cheese. As they started to fry slowly, Moira turned and grabbed flower, butter and various other ingredients and combined them into a bowl then flipped the contents (after they were moistened with milk of course) onto the counter and started to knead the dough.

"We live in Boston and the base is on an island off of the coast. Our main antagonist is SHIELD who hunts our kind either to capture or kill us. And you already know about Com I guess?" she asked looking over the brim of her black rimmed glasses then back at the dough as she started to quickly cut it into perfect circles, threw them on a pan, and tossed the pan into the oven. At that point she stirred the eggs then washed her hands.

It was another 15 minutes before the eggs were done and they were done just as the biscuits were. Another minute and she had a glass of juice, a glass of coffee, the eggs and a couple of biscuits in front of William to eat.

"Eat up there boyo." she said with a smile and a wink. She loved cooking for people and was glad that Nicandro had made such a large kitchen.

((cool. Whaddah ya say if they wake up cuddled?))

((Hm.... Sure. tongue.gif Willow will be all like 'I do not like him. At all. Or maybe just a little...))

Willow

Willow could hardly remember the last time she had had a real bed to sleep in. It only took her a couple of minutes to fall asleep, but even the comfortable bed couldn’t change how lightly she slept. She was sure Kelvyn had been trying not to wake her, but she couldn’t help but react when he moved. Willow ignored him, thinking he probably just had to go to the washroom or something, and tried to go back to sleep.

When Kelvyn didn’t return, and Willow didn’t quite manage to fall asleep either, she got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom. She leaned against the wall and looked over where Kelvyn was standing. “Are you okay?” She asked.

The boy turned around to reveal two pale white irises and pupils. "Not really. I'm not a zombie don't panic, I just feel really bad and it's how I look when I feel that way." Kelvyn muttered, "C-close, y-your... e-eyes..." Kelvyn said, holding his mouth. He opened the toilet lid and started barfing, It was red, it was blood. It was white as well. "I-it h-happens... o-once a year." Kelvyn said, sighing and taking a deep breath. He got up to the sink and cleaned his mouth, washing his teeth. "Uh, sorry for everything I guess..." Kelvyn spoke with a warm, apologizing tone in his voice. "We'd better get to sleep now," Kevin said with a heavy breath.

"My goal is to eliminate all mutants."

Elyon lowered her left pistol while raising her right one. She aimed right it between the insane girl's eyes and was just about to pull the trigger when her earpiece buzzed into life.

"It's okay Elyon, this girl is not a threat to us at the moment. By the sounds of it you are with Ren. She's a little...unusual, but she can be of some use to us."

"Ren" repeated Elyon.

"Yes. Don't shoot her. Yet."

Elyon lowered her pistol and placed both of them back in their holsters. She fixed Ren with a dark stare.

"What other mutants?"

Jason smiled as Ziva tagged him. Fun... harmless fun... and yet it was hard to forget the world outside, the danger, the fear, and the hope too. He shook his head, forgetting was the point, enjoyment, relaxing, there was no place for doubts here. He smiled as Ziva changed the environment and took off after her, using his wings to fly low through the forest and then suddenly he pulled up and was gone. After a minute of gaining altitude he looked back down, Ziva was a tiny spec but his eyesight had changed to that of an eagle, and he tucked his wings to his body as he dove, shooting through the air like a cannonball. He homed in on her slightly confused self and opened his wings just in time to land next to her without breaking his legs.

A giant hand made out of mud suddenly splashed itself onto her from behind and he smiled from in front of her. "tag back." he grinned, but didn't run away. Running away from her was not in his nature, he'd rather be with her, and not play a game that involved separation. The mud vanished and a trail appeared, leading up an incline and into some pine trees.

"Come on I made you something." He grinned, racing up the trail. The trail twisted and turned and he ran for what seemed like an hour, but running in his mind was different. He didn't get tired, and he felt almost like he was floating across the ground, running at speeds he never would have achieved in real life. Up up up the trail went until the trees cleared and an opening could be seen.

He rushed through it and suddenly there was a clearing of tall grass with a cobblestone path leading to the door of a cozy sized cabin made from logs. It smelled of freshly cut pine and on the front door a heart was drawn with the letters J+Z in the middle.

"welcome home." he turned and smiled at Ziva.

Will

William nodded to Moira, digging into the food with a vengeance. He ate it all and gave her an appreciative smile. "Thank you, that was wonderful."

His smile didn't last long though and he sighed as he leaned back in his chair. "Yes, I understand... what Com has decided to do. More than anyone I suppose I know what' he'll face, and what he may become when I see him next. I'm not looking forward to it..." he sighed again and stood up.

"Thank you for agreeing to take care of me, it sounds silly to say it now that I'm like this..." he shrugged, "but I can't stay like this for more than a day, it gets longer each time and eventually I'll be completely better. But healing... is a slow process. I try to make the best of everything that I've gone through though, there are always bright spots, meeting you for example, and soon I'll meet the others here. Hopefully I'll even find a way to contribute to the group in some way, I hate... to always be a burden on everyone..."

*Lily... Er, Siren*

Lily was continuing with the flow, gently moving through poses and longing for her point shoes. As she went into an aerobesk she noticed the door moving. Abruptly, Lily stopped, snapping into Siren's character. She tensed as she realized someone had been watching her dance, no one had seen her dance since that night with Jay. She'd been quite careful about that.

All of this was really done within the span of seconds. "Who's there?" Siren called up to the door, her tone implicated that she was annoyed. There was more to it than that though, Lily had been exposed. For that brief amount of time, Siren had been Lily. That had been her true self, not the great Siren who was both acquirable and desirable, yet indifferent at the same time.
