The gaunt black-haired girl skulked along the pavement, head tilted downwards. Her green eyes roamed the grey concrete for money or anything to eat. A forgotten sweet, an end off a hotdog. Nothing. Face set bitterly, she darted into an alleyway and slid down to sit on the ground, head in hands. Her stomach gave a desperate rumble, and she whimpered softly. "We'll find something... Soon..." She let her hand drift down to the floor, staring blankly ahead as she tapped her fingernail. Then, she flicked it by accident. If only she had known her power better. A small flame started, and she didn't notice until she sensed heat. Looking down, she saw, to her horror, that it had caught alight on the dumpster and boxes littered around. "No!" she screamed, jumping up. "Not again!" Realising there were people living or working in the buildings on either side, she shouted out. "FIRE!"

What to do, what to do, what to do… Róise kicked a tiny rock of the pavement, scrunching her eyebrows and huffing a little. Why her? Of all the effing mutants in the entire effing world, why her? And now that she had seen that fancy secret hideaway… Ugh. Róise huffed again, before looking up and seeing a girl sitting alone. She didn’t think much about it, apart from the fact that the girl was a tad bit young, but then she saw her hand moving. “Fire!” Róise grabbed the girls arm and began running as people started to pay attention to the scene. Ducking back into an alleyway, Róise looked at the girl and hissed, “Are you out of your mind?!”

Quite suddenly, Alice was being dragged along by someone. She struggled to be let go, head turning from side to side. She finally slipped her hand out as they entered an alleyway, panting softly. "A fire... Dunno how it started... Didn't want people hurt," she lied while panting softly. Oh god, she was hungry. So hungry. Wait a moment; why was this girl so angry? Her expression hardened. Had she perhaps seen her start the fire?

((we're kind of taking a break from it right now because L² (aka LoveLost) is too busy in real life right now to have it going again; you may post a form in the ooc thread for this rp which is on the top of the first page and it will be reviewed/accepted but it'll probably be awhile that this will be started back up again...just so you know ))
