After all it was against the code of a medic..... then again though he was not much better off tehre. "The red seemed almost at home here even though he is more or less a prisoner." he said.

"I have welcomed the red into the clan. However, he does seem a little too at home for being in a rival clan. And there's something about those hatchlings..." Zadar shook his head.

Vita nodded "While I did not know he was welcomed I do agree." he said. So Zadar knew of the hatchlings "One was red." he said. "I hope its not what I think it is." he said. Then he lowered his head "Zadar. Permission to speak one dragon to another. No rules." he asked. If he where to open this upto Zadar he needed to know Zadar would not do anything.

Zadar looked at Vita with a somewhat confused expression, "Permission granted." He mumbled, awaiting patiently for Vita's response.

Falon flicked a tail with annoyance. She didnt let Moku get ahead, she kept a couple paces in front. She requested Zadar to lead a patrol, and she would not be denied of such. As she stalked through the forest, she felt well aware of Kast swerving and navigating around swaths of ferns, keeping pace with her. Falon crept over the leaf littered floor; the leaves were damp and made no sound as her light paws step upon them. As she leaped a small stream and swerved away to.avoid thick brush, she hissed quietly, "I am getting the impresstion you sugest the other clan moved our markers." She then bent a head to view a deer track. The way the toes split in the track, she knew it was a buck, and large one. She guessed a four point per rack. The track was fresh, too. She made a sharp whistle sound fo mimick a finch, and pointed to the print.

Moku shook her head, "No... Not at all..." Moku flew straight onto Teratio territory and over to the edge of the water. The water was the same shade of purple as it was in her dream, "No... It's as I feared. It's been polluted by those humans!"

Falon flew beside Moku ans stared in shock at the lake. She looked at Moku. "We must leavem before they find camp." She felt a wash of calmness suddenly envelope her. Suddenly a voice sounded behind the two, "A dangerous journey awaits you two." Falon spun around to see the most massive watee dragon, yet he was familiar. "Huroku!" She whispered. "You two must aid Zadar. He can not convince the clans to listen himself. Falon, you shall vsit Tertario. Moku, you shall walk to Marina. If you two stand beside him, peace shall rule." The wise old water dragon continued. "I umderstand Zadar dose not want to mention this yet, but it will only get worse. You will know when to visit the other cland. But only you two, alone, must visit."

"Huroko..." Ichimokuren turned, observing the dragon, "Are you the Teratio leader...?" She wondered. Quickly she shook her head, "Falon, we need to return to camp and inform Zadar."

Falon shook her head. "No. He is...an old friend." She looked into his golden eyes. "You...knew this would befall us?" He nodded solemly. "It wasnt for ne to mention. But be warned: Darkness, Sky, Poison, and Lightning must join together, and if the the Dove is not found, all will shatter." And with the words, he seemed to melt away into the forst, leaveing them to stand alone. Falon shook on her legs. "Moku, what dose this mean?" She shook her head. "Let me warn Zadar. My wings carry me faster than yours. But, the buck track I spotted, it was large. With the threat looming over us, we need such a good sorce of energy. Will you stay and catch it?" she looked deep in her eyes. "I know this is serious, and I sound bossy, but that us important, and what I say is true." With a friendly nod, she leaped imto the air, speeding away to camp.

Moku sighed, "Already she seems higher ranked..." With her tail dragging on the ground, Moku slowly proceeded into the shadows, looking for the buck once more. After a few moments, she spotted it once more, it was drinking from a little stream that flowed from the lake. Suddenly, as Moku went to attack, the deer dropped dead. It was laying motionless on the ground, poisoned.

Amira had woken late. She stretched her wings and limbs as far as they could go. She felt rather good and stood up. She tried looking for the others but hunger got the best of her. She extended her feathery wings and took a soft flight in the air. She had rather jerky motions since she was still drowsy and almost fell asleep in the air several times.

 

It took several minutes for her to find what she was looking for. She landed in a big fruit tree, resting on a very large limb of the towering tree. She immediately took a huge bite, filling her mouth with small fruit and some of the leaves as well. Her eye closed and she smiled in delight when the sweet juice ran down her throat, quenching her thirst.

Vita looked at Zadar "I know the hatchlings parents. I have known of them for a while. I said nothing fearing Baine would be banished. She is a young dragon. Plus it had happened so there was not much to stop it." he said looking down. "I did not want the same fate happen to her that happened to her mentor." he said.

"So the hatchlings do belong to them..." Zadar sighed, "Vita I appreciate your honesty with me, you shall make a splendid leader once I fall. Baine will not be banished for her actions, love is uncontrollable on the clan code's part."

Vita nodded "Thank you. And your welcome." he said taking the praise. Then lifted his head more "So what mission are Moku and Falon on?" he asked not knowing much about it. Then his stomach gave a very loud growl. He looked at it "And I guess its time for me to feed...... been to busy lately."

"Moku and Falon went to go hunt for some food but-" Suddenly, Zadar was cut off by Moku busted into his den.

 

"Zadar, I apologized the intruding but there's something very important I must tell you." Moku began.

 

"I hop it's important, Moku." Zadar replied.

 

"Trust me, it is. Now, before you yell at me, listen to this. Falon and I were out on patrol and we crossed onto Teratio territory," Zadar went to interrupt but Moku gave no chance, "I had a dream that the silver lake was being polluted by humans. I went to the lake with Falon and the lake that was once silver is now purple." She took a breath, "I went to hunt and found a buck drinking from a steam that flowed from the lake. The buck dropped dead from the poison. All creature sin the forest drink from streams and rivers that flow from that lake. and all the rivers and stream empty to Marena's ocean. The prey is poisonous."

Vita nodded. then when he heard the news he almost growled. "We can last long with out water or prey." he said "I'll take a search party. We'll find Baine. I assume your going to announce this to the rest of the clan. I'd declare a fast. Who knows whats poisoned. Or who is already." Vita said thinking fast. He stopped suddenly and looked at Zadar "Sorry. I'm getting ahead of my self."

Falon landed in camp a few long moments before Moku burst in. She stood by her side and nodded as she spoke. Then she stepped forward to Zadar. "Zadar, I must speak to you in private."

"Please... Please get a search party ready for tonight, Vita. But do not allow them to leave until after my announcement." Moku worried much about Zadar's sanity at this point, if so much news hit him at once, he may become insane. However, Moku obediently left Zadar's den along with Vita, allowing the two time to speak. Zadar regarded Falon, silently, gesturing for her to proceed.

Vita nodded and then left to get a search party ready. "Moku, would you like to be part of the party?" he asked. He looked at Vrans and Fedora "Maybe we could round up our party." he muttered.

Falon wrapped her tails around her paws and sat up tall. She drew in a shaky breath. "When we saw they purple lake, an errie sentence was revealed: Darkness, Sky, Poison, Earth, and Lightning must band together to fight the rising danger. But if the gentle Dove is not found, all will be lost." She shuddered as the words echoed once more in her mind. She closed her eyes for a long moment, and opened them again, her green eyes piercing Zadar.

Zadar tried to make sense of Falon's words, "Do you have an idea of what this might mean?" No matter how much he thought, he couldn't seem to figure out the riddle.

Moku stared wide-eyed at Vita, "A-Are you sure? Are you sure you want me to be in the patrol? After everything I've done?"

Falon leaned so close to his ear, her soft breathing blew on his check. "Yesss." She hissed. "Darkness is Vrans, for his thriving in moonlight. Poison be Fedora, for her venomus barbs. Earth must be Cameron, because his paws stay land bound. Lighning shall be Moku, for her powerful sparks. Gentle Dove must be Baime, and it is stated if we dont find her. And Sky, " She paused, her heart lept in her throat. Could this be true? "is me. I am Sky, my leader, and I shall serve you til the day my soul leaves this body." She locked her eyes to his. "And it was request that Sky tells Tertario, and Lighnting consults Marina, when you decide the time is right. But, " She continued, her eyes seemingly like emerald stars, blazing and standing through the darkness of her scales. "We must embark to the clans witjout an escort. I do not know whay, however."
