Posted July 22, 2011 (edited) PLOT For hundreds of years, the dragons of the three clans, Rosario of the forest, Teratio of the mountains, and Marena of the beaches, have gone unknown of by humans. This all changes when humans begin to try expanding their territory in the territory of the three clans. Our story follows the clan of the forest, Rosario in their desperate attempt to defend their land from the humans who are trying to steal the territory of the clans, and from the two other clans who are also threatened by the humans and are trying to expand their territory in Rosario territory. For Rosario, things are hard. Although food is plentiful, the humans have their city at the end of their territory. Thus, Rosario is closest to the humans. If these humans were to find the Rosario camp or even discover their existence in the woods, it would mean that the whole clan would be in danger of an attack from the humans. They must survive attacks from Teratio and Marena and then the humans if they should ever hope to keep their territory and continue to exist in the forest. TERRITORY Inside the Camp; *A small freshwater pond used as drinking water for the group *A den for each position (deputy shares den with warriors) *A small den for food stock *A tall rock formation where the leader and deputy stand during clan meetings to discuss important matters. Outside the Camp; *A small cave that is frequented by bears and wolves. *Mainly forest *Streams where it's possible to go fishing for food *Trails far away from the Rosario camp used by the humans who hardly ever stray from these roads. *Mountains that mark the border between Rosario and Teratio *Sand to the west of the Rosario camp, marking the boundary between Rosario and Marena. *Many smalls caves are dotted across the territory where rogues and loners are said to reside. Here's the template for the characters. Mates must be chosen before the RolePlay starts. Each person is limited to two characters and the dragons can either be dragons that are owned by you on Dragon Cave, or OCs that you've created using this template; TEMPLATE Name: Age: Gender: Breed of Dragon: Mate *: Clan: Position**: Description/History: *Having a mate is optional and mates will be chosen after twelve dragons have been created for this Role Play. **Position refers to Elder, Warrior, Apprentice, Hatchling, Nurse, or Leader. The leader is first come first serve. Whoever wants to be leader can be as long as the position hasn't been taken. Each person who controls a character for Rosario, is encouraged to create a character from another Clan. The character from the other clan will not be included into the total number of dragons. These dragons from the other clans are there only for when Rosario encounters the other clan. Please PM me any questions if you have any. RULES Also, every Rp needs rules! * No text talk please * Keep flaws in your characters, and make them realistic. * No swearing. * Keep everything PG 13. * Minimum of 4 sentences per post. * Respect each other. * OoC in parenthesis please * Please use proper spelling and decent grammar. * A limit of 2 characters per player (not including rogues, loners, and other clans) *No Power-playing, godmodding, or invincibility CHARACTER RESTRICTIONS * Your character doesn't have to be of the Rosario group. The other choices would be a loner or rogue. For example; you could be a dragon that has been exiled from one of the other clans and now comes to Rosario, hoping to be accepted. Or, you could be a loner who causes trouble for the Rosario clan. * Seeing as though the storyline revolves around the Rosario group, no dragons will be active members of another group for these dragons would be unimportant to the main storyline. For example; if you are both a dragon of Teratio and a dragon of Rosario, the Rosario dragon would be in all of your posts while the Teratio dragon would only be used if Teratio were to attack. FURTHER NOTES *Only one Leader is allowed *One Nurse Dragon is allowed *Four warriors/Elders are allowed *Four Apprentices/Hatchlings are allowed *Two Rogues/Loners are allowed *If only one Rogue/Loner is created, then the last remaining spot can be any position except for Leader or Nurse. *If no Rogue/Loner is created, those two spots may be used to be a dragon of any position except from leader and Nurse. *One warrior created will be chosen as deputy by whoever has created the leader of Rosario. *If you are being a rogue, loner, or a dragon from another clan, you must create another character from Rosario since a rogue or loner won't attack Rosario every day thus they won't be in the RP that much. The Rosario clan member that is created by someone with a rogue or loner will not count towards the total number of dragons. POSITIONS Leader: This position is filled by only one dragon who commands the dragons of the Rosario group*. He/She may choose which dragons to send into battle or keep behind. The leader also chooses which dragons are ready to graduate from being an Apprentice to Warrior and Hatchling to Apprentice. Deputy: Only one warrior is chosen to be the deputy. This deputy becomes leader once the previous leader either dies, or retires. The deputy is still a warrior and will preform warrior tasks such as hunting, patrolling, and fighting. Nurse: One dragon is permitted to become the nurse dragon. The nurse does not go into battle and takes care of the sick and injured. They use different types of herbs and things found in the forest to treat wounds and sickness. Elder: Elders are retired warriors that no longer fight and are useful to the clan for their wisdom and experience. Warrior: The main fighters of a clan who protect the camp, hunt for the group, and patrol the territory of the clan. Warriors are to attack any trespassers unless instructed otherwise by a higher-up such as the leader or deputy. Most warriors have an Apprentice who they train to become a warrior. A warrior is retired once he hits 50 years of age. Apprentice: Young dragons who are in training to become warriors. They fight only if instructed to by their mentor or leader. A dragon is an apprentice until they are ten years old and ready to become a warrior as determined by their mentor and leader. Hatchling: A newborn dragon. Clan: Rosario Position**: Nurse and mentor of Amira Description/History: Baine is a reserved dragoness who prefers to keep to herself when not on duty. She is an excellent healer and can heal many injuries without magic, in fact she uses the magic as little as possible. The white dragon has a small garden beside her den where she grows her herbs. She dislikes the fighting their clan often goes through, but willingly heals her fellow dragons due to her kind nature. Baine grew up an orphan, fending for herself for her first two years before becoming an apprentice. She took her work very seriously, and asked little questions, preferring to figure things out on her own, which often led her into trouble. The dragoness accepted her graduating quickly and quietly and immediately began her work. Her ambition has led her to be respected, even at such a young age, but despite her knowledge she often fears making mistakes. Name: Navira Age: 2 yrs. Clan: Teratio Position**: Hatchling/about to apprentice Description/History: Navira is a boisterous young dragon with an ambition to kill. She enjoys hunting insects & rodents, and will only eat meat, unlike most other females, that will wait for meat to be brought to them. The hatchling is not afraid of larger dragons, but she fears predators because her mother was killed by one. The Teratio clan took her in and kept her egg warm until it hatched, and she was only fed for a few weeks until she grew a layer of fat to keep warm in the cold mountains. Once she had learned to hunt, Navira's fat turned to muscle and she became one of the most agile hatchlings in the clan. The young dragon is very much a bully and hopes to become a warrior apprentice. Name: Vortigern Age: 437 yrs. Gender: M Breed of Dragon: Orchedrake Mate : None. Clan: Marena Position: Deputy Description/History: Vortigern, or Vern, was raised lovingly by his birth parents, who were both Orchedrakes. His mother always made sure he had a full belly, and his father taught him to battle from a young age. Due to his intensive training, Vern often got too rough during play with other hatchlings and had to be disciplined by his mother. This led him to favor his father until he realized that his father agreed with his mother. Upon this realization, he falsely accused his parents of affiliating with Teratio dragons and they were executed. Vern only realized his mistake after he graduated to become a warrior, and angry with himself, took out all his emotions onto the other clans. He proved himself an honorable warrior and was promoted to deputy upon the previous deputy's promotion to leader. Soon she actually made her way into being a warrior, and she proved herself right. Being one of the few women on her team, she was honored greatly for nearly 50 years. Along the way, she met her true love, Moongorge, a fellow ridgeback. But soon everything changed when she ripped one of her wings. She couldn't fly again, and her service as a warrior ended. Moongorge continued to fight for her, but soon his life ended while in combat. But now she provides wisdom for those who need it, hoping someone will be as good as she once was. But they were cruel, and only wanted her for work. But one day she became ill, and couldn't work, and they refused to keep her. However, they couldn't abandon a sick hatchling. They cracked one of their eggs and told one of the Teratio elders that Eleth had done it. They decided to throw her out of the clan. But the elder Elethenia protested against it, but no one cared. And so the hatchling fended for herself, unnamed. She later named herself Eleth, in dedication of the elder Elethenia, who had believed her. Name: Szara (Suh-zara) Age: 30 Gender: Breed of Dragon: Hellfire Mate *: Widowed :] Clan: Marena Position**: Leader Description/History: Szara had been very violent as a hatchling, and her parents were very concerned. They wanted her dead, instead of risking their lives. She managed to stay alive until she got older, and soon became leader. Her father tried to get her demoted, or at least restricted. So, she killed him. But in a fair battle. little lost dragon's Dragons Name: Tashrin Age: 27 Gender: Breed of Dragon: Red Mate *: open Clan: Teratio Position**: Warrior Description/History: Tashrin is a hostile dragon, often thinks that the clan is out to get him should he slip up. When he was a hatchling he was picked on for being weak. When he hatched he hatched sick and that affected his strength and paid for it. He could not do much and other picked on him for it. Now do to to much pride to ask for help he slowly got a reds strength and more anger then one should have. Though little know but get on his good side and you may see his hidden but soft heart. Never joined in when 3 or more hatchlings where playing due to hating crowds. Though he will fight and get after anyone who saddens his friends. He may be a loner but mess with his friends and you'll have him to deal with. His looks are fairly normal for a male moonstone dragon how ever his wings seemed to be only partly formed feathers.... they look like scales instead making them tougher but heavier. He eats meat just due to its taste he loves it but due to his kind can't eat to much or he throws up and feel sick, part of his breed he hates. Knows his fights and can fight using both magic and melee but prefers range combat. He was mostly social for his whole life which is strange considering he saw his parents get murdered by human bandits. When he found the clan Rosario he almost fell dead by starvation but a nurse found him and he swore he would for ever serve the clan as a fighter. She's had practice with healing medicines she's created herself from months of her practice with herbs. I can change if is a problem) Mate: None (but may eventually like one, maybe create one later when older?) Clan: Rosario of the Forest Position: Hatchling, (apprentice if someone can me my mentor) Description/History: Has grown up in the clan quietly, staying mostly awake at night. She is quiet and loyal but can be quite curious at times. She looks like a regular moonstone dragon but has a scar on her left shoulder from when she fell onto a sharp rock when exploring after dark. If on it to much it pains her a little when walking for to long but not enough to cripple her completely. She is not the best fighter but is best at agility and defense. But then the worst imaginable happened. He was bitten and cursed. His familly left his egg in the cold to die and now as an adult he hunts any dragon he finds. Searching for new prey with his two other vampire 'sons' Vakir and Smillen, who he has raised as his own after biting them as an egg. Posted August 7, 2011 (edited) Ichimokuren slowly poked her head out from the warrior den, checking if anyone else was awake. Seeing no one, she slowly dragged her light body out into the warm sunlight. It was fairly chilly which wasn't abnormal since it was now Autumn. Moku stretched her sleepy legs and wings then laid down, taking in the sun. She opened her jaws in a huge yawn, making a faint roar while doing so. She looked around, making sure she woke no one, especially the hatchlings then continued with her sunbathing, enjoying every second of it. Posted August 7, 2011 (edited) ((I know for Vrans he's going to want a mate but he's a bit young atm for one so if (I dunnu how this is going to work) there are others around his age and they need/want a future mate then we can see how they RP things out. Um ya. Edit: Ichimokuren may due but if ya want we could have em meet up sort of speak and see how things go from there )) Vrans woke up at the noise of the electric dragoness yawning. He only entered this den for a few weeks but was still adjusting. In the hatchlings den he had a select few he slept with. Now he had to find a place again. He stood up and yawned but no noise come out just air going in and out. He started to pick his way through the other dragons sleeping bodys and got out side the den. He saw her sun bathing and looked around. His sleep ways where messed up again, he was used to staying up till midnight adsorbing moon light then he joined the others to sleep till the after noon then did his duty then repeat. Though now that was once again messed up after moving to another den. He went to the food pile and pawed at the plant pile and grabbed one then went to see if there was a mouse. A mouse was small enough to allow him to eat it with out to much trouble. He found a old one, not bad just old and shrugged and grabbed it. Posted August 7, 2011 ((Sure)) Vrans looked around. The plant stem he was nawing on just let out some disgusting something and he spat it out. He shook his head and finished the mouse. Looking around he realized the sun was at that point for morning patrol to start heading out..... and only he and one other were up. He got up and went up to Ichimokuren "Morning, seems time for morning patrol and where the only ones up." he said feeling a bit nerves. He normaly avoided talking to those he did not know. Posted August 7, 2011 (edited) Ichimokuren looked up at the dragon then to the morning sky, "Oh, it seems it is about that time." Ichimokuren got up slowly, stretched her wings one last time, "I was hoping to do a little sun bathing but it seems those plans have been ruined..." Ichimokuren sighed. She looked at Vrans. tilting her head a little, "Do I know you?" Her body emitted sparks, not too dangerous but she was obviously agitated about not being able to sunbathe. He went on the defensive When the sparks showed up "I'm Vrans, just moved in a week or 2 ago now." he said "whats your name?" he asked attempting to not show that the sparks where agitating him. He was not used to them and every time one got close his scales would feel funny. ((He's a shy one and this is stepping out of his confert zone lol. Posted August 7, 2011 Vrans gave a curt nod as she said nice to meet him. This was going to be a interesting day. He caught up and nodded when she introduced her self feeling more at ease when the sparks vanished. then he remembered something. He was never up around the time for morning patrol before..... so he did not know that rought..... unless it was the same as after noon and evening..... he did not know. He sighed a little then looked at Moku then the ground then at her again then at the ground then he opened his mouth "Morning patrol is the same as the others right?" he asked finally. Don't worry, nothing special goes on in the morning. But if we don't bring enough food home, the elders get fairly cranky so I'll have your hide hanging in the wall if you don't catch enough." Posted August 7, 2011 Eleth opened her eyes and saw blackness from the walls of her cave. She had slept through the night for the second day in a row, and she was starving. She lifted her self up, and looked outside. The morning sun blinded her light blue eyes, but she adjusted. She knew that if she went out for food now, she'd be seen. Sighing deeply, she turned around and went deeper into her home, looking for her leftover food. All she had was a basket containing five large fish. Posted August 7, 2011 Vrans looked at the ground as she spoke. So if it where the same thing then ok he knew the way. Just you hunt as well.... alright. He looked at her though when she commented on the flying. Just what way was she talking about? He only knew of one way and that the flapping of your wings and the sorts. "What?" he said a bit quietly. "But would flying not make it harder to catch prey?" he asked then shook his head. Get your self together! Why are we treating this one so...... so....... Posted August 7, 2011 "Huh?" Moku looked at Vrans, walking again, "Well yeah but my problem is, that I hurt my wing the other day while I was out on an evening patrol. I swear, that fox was sent by Hades himself! Bit right down on the base of my right wing!" Moku strained her wing, showing Vrans the bite wound. Posted August 7, 2011 ((Haha no, i don't plan on doing that I was just giving an intro for Eleth)) Celeste opened her old and tired eyes, blinking them to remove the glaze. She lifted her fragile body off of the ground, where she loved to sleep. She walked outside, very slowly, trying to stay balanced. She picked up her pace as she started to move more, but still balanced herself. She straightened her limbs until her bones ached and kept walking. Posted August 7, 2011 Vrans nodded and when her shadow got bigger he got the hint she was showing something and decided to look. On the base of her right wing was a bite. "A fox...... bit your wing?" he asked "How did it get there?" he asked. They where at least bigger then a fox.... a full grown dragon was huge. He tilted his head as she moved the wing still then sparks came again and he backed off a bit once again agitated by the sparks. "Normally they run." he said quietly. Share this post Link to post
Posted August 7, 2011 (edited) "Well this thing was definetly something else. Body like a fox, bite like a bear." Moku replied, sighing, retrackting the sparks. She continue with the patrol, flapping her wings every once ni a while, trying to shake off the pain of the bite, "I'm telling you right now, you never wanna get bitten by a rogue. They carry all kinds of nasty diseases. I heard, that one time, a previous leader died from a disease she contracted from a rogue. The nurse couldn't even figure out what the disease was! There's no way I would be able to survive a disease like that, I'm too young to even stand a chance..." Moku hung her head, slightly depressed.
