Posted October 2, 2010 Well, I hope this'll actually BE discussion... but very well, I shall answer your little questions. Neither, I hated them both. Fred was annoying. Probably none... if anything, Slytherin, because I am very ambitious, but my projects tend to fall flat on their face. Sure. He seemed like a good leader who wouldn't break. I hate romance. No. They were only together because they were a female and male of their species. Whatever happened to chemistry? Most. Probably McGonagall... but I liked them all pretty well. Yes. Because I like characters with depth. Dumbledore did. I never liked Sirius. No... but, then again, I didn't like the book. I mainly just wanted to slap Bellatrix's actress silly. I was filled with a deep raeg. Uhm... who now? No. Just no. See above. I was expected to remember them? I guess I liked that fire that Hermoine had in the first book but you never saw anywhere else. Care of Magical Creatures. Twice all the way through. But I've read the individual books out of order many times. I'm not afraid of death, and even though I'm not against that morally, I wouldn't want to live their supposed cursed life. *looks around* A pen? Should Kingsley have stayed Minister of Magic PERMANENTLY? Sure. What did you think of the Potter, Diggory, and Chang love triangle? I empathized a bit with her, having been in a similar situation (minus the death...), but meh. Overall didn't really care for it. Should Hagrid and Madame Maxime elope? Why would they need to elope? If they get into a relationship they could totally be normal. I think the idea of them is cute though. Do you believe all of Harry's triumphs were bogus or assisted with? Uh, well, none of his triumphs were bogus as they all happened (except everything Skeeter said, lying *), but yes, most of them were assisted with. Who was your least like teacher? Pfft, Snape. If so what would you make it out of? They make a better team. No, but someone had to. Gryfindor, but according to most quizzes any of them. Yesh. Didn't exist. Not in my little world anyway. Why run away to be married? Lots of luck with some skill in there somewhere. Umbridge, even though she was never really a teacher. No, I thought it was really weird. No. It was meh. No, I would have, forget thinking about it. Bad. Worse. Langlock or Levicorpus. (The real levicorpus, not the one they introduced too early in the fifth movie.) Defense Against the Dark Arts. ...maybe 15? No. N/A. If anyone knows of good fanfics please PM me with a link. My two favorites are: Harry Potter and the Book of Merlin and The Moonlight War They both have a tad of a rough start, but they are the best I've seen of fanfic. The first I mentioned is a Harry/Hermione pairing, and it has a few oddities, but still good. The second is primarily a Luna/OC, but has all the major characters as well. It has some odd spots, but again we're talking about fanfic, not JK Rowling. Please don't send me links to any stories with a Draco/Hermione pairing, I can't stand them, no matter how well they are written. Same goes with Draco/anyone really. Posted October 5, 2010 Ron/Hermione was more destined. Harry and Hermione almost never had a falling out-- this is a good sign for those who just wnated them to be simply platonic friends.T hat's all they were. Friends. Hermione and Ron, however, had arguments every couple of weeks and light bickering whenever they had the chance. This means that they care about one another's feelings towards each other-- they get upset when the other doesn't do what they want, thus creating the arguing. In some cases that's not the case, but for then, seeing as they weren't sworn enemies, it was probable. So that's why i like Ron/Hermione more than Harry/Hermione. Posted October 7, 2010 I don't like Ginny either and never got the Ginny/Harry pairing. Ron and Hermione doesn't make since to me either - she could do so much better than him. Personally, to me JKR just threw couples together that really made no sense. So basically, I ignore the "romance" and just skim over any scenes that have it. Well she probably didn't want to invent new characters at the end, it would be too open-ended. She also had to keep the Weasleys as main characters, so I tell myself that's why it didn't end up Harry/Hermione. Really I think Rowling ended the books before it was meant to be ended, and the books suffered. Either that or it was the other way around and she didn't have any ideas and it should have ended sooner. Share this post Link to post
