This is my boy, Alfredo! (Alfie for short) He's a big guy now (I think I shared baby pics of him way back when). He likes to run around the den and steal paper to stuff into his cage.

Now that it's actually summer (yay 8 months of midwestern winter), I've taken my noodle boy out for a few adventures.

@tjenni Thank you! He's a 9 month old banana BP.

I'm sorry for your loss. Losing a baby is so, so hard. Corns are such sweethearts too. At least you'll always have his memory ❤

I've had a number of gerbils (and I can tell you I had adventures catching them when they got out of their habitat somehow!).  My last pet was a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach I named Cuca (short for la cucaracha).  She was a good hisser and I had her for a couple of years.  My mom liked to call her the most spoiled cockroach.  XD  I was generous with fresh fruit and veggies.  I'm petless right now and probably will be for some time.  I have other obligations and calls for my attention right now and I don't have the energy to devote to a pet.

I do not have one but I hope to have a snake! They looks so chill and slimy😂 But my family don't like snake that much so I guess it would only appear in my dreams. I wonder what they eat 🤔

Here are my exotics. There's seven in this picture. Six you can see, and one can't because she's being sat on by the other six.

I have an Axolotl (mexican walking fish or my personal favorite Water Dragon) they're sadly extinct to their native habitat but locals are trying to make it better! She/He is named Nebula she's a wildtype with very high iridophores which makes it look like she has glitter on her I absolutely love her  (':

Not sure if it counts as an exotic animal, but for the past couple days I've been taking care of a mouse I found in the garage. He looks about half-grown, we're guessing 4-3 weeks old. Something is wrong with his coordination and balance, and the day before I had found another mouse the same age, sadly already dead. I'm not sure if they got into something, or what. It was (and still kind of is) pretty touch and go with the survivor for a while, I was genuinely surprised when he made it to the 24 hour mark. But, he's eating, drinking from a syringe, and pooping, so there might be a speck of hope for him.

Holding off on officially giving him a name, mostly for fear I'll somehow jinx him, but I've taken to calling him Wobbles for his clumsiness. If anyone has experience with young rodents, advice is hugely appreciated.

I have a pet snake and a gecko! Not the most exotic, but still out of the norm.

Nova's just a regular leopard gecko, but still gorgeous and I love her.

And this is Solar, my albino ball python, and other amazing pet. This image was a few days after we got her, and she was a little underweight, but she is currently a good healthy size!20190519_141137.thumb.jpg.b719834f1494e8a096a18d09987cd69a.jpg

I have to admit I really miss having rats for pets. I grew up with all sorts of animals. We had rats, mice, geribels, hamsters, (Rats were the best though!) rabbits, cats, dogs, birds, turtles, fish and more.  My uncle had a ferret.

Funny that I find this as I'm watching a video on snakes, haha. I do not own any exotic pets (I don't own pets at all) but I have wanted to for a long time.

I'm partial to lizards and geckos, mainly because I find insects fascinating but am terrified of them. (At a point I considered owning a tarantula, before immediately remembering that I am a blatant arachnophobic and can barely handle jumping spiders.)

Leopard geckos are adorable, I would love to own one one day.
