ANSWERED:Connection problems.

Recently, DC has been loading very slowly when switching between tabs, or it doesn't open at all. When I try to access a website, I get a "Connection Problems" message from Google or R.I.P. from DC, even though my internet connection is fine and other websites/games load perfectly. I have to wait 3-5 minutes to switch between, for example, scroll and cave. I don't mind waiting, but it interferes with collecting eggs:(

 

Has anyone encountered this problem? What helped solve it?

Been experiencing it on and off since yesterday afternoon. Not sure what is causing the slowness, but you aren't the only one experiencing it

I and many players I know also experience this recent lag. I started noticing a lag since around 11am Cave Time 12/16. It usually solves itself after a while but has been recurring since then.

I've had the same lag since yesterday. Sometimes the cave won't load for minutes, sometimes it works perfectly well.

I have also been having this lag for at least a few days now, it was especially bad on Tuesday, the site kept giving me tombstones when I was trying to name my dragons and it's been laggy tonight.

I have had intermittent lag for the last few days, also. Got tombstone several times today, once when using grid custom sort, once when using fertility, and once when just trying to load my scroll page.

I'd been hoping this issue would've resolved before the holidays, but alas... just got a tombstone after some on-and-off lag. Hopefully TJ will take a look at the situation soon.

Yeah noticed that lag in the last days as well. It's been on and off. Right now it's lagging again. Hopefully it will be fixed before the new Holiday dragon is released.

Random connection errors today, gotten this a couple times:

Adding in that I've also been having issues. For a while it was around the xx:34 - xx:45 part of the hour but then it would happen randomly. Desktop, mobile, wifi, or data, it still happened.
I've tried Chrome and Firefox and it happens the same time on both.

Randomly having significant lag on FireFox, no loading on Chrome.  Usually works fine, but occasionally and seemingly without pattern.

I keep losing progress on the frosty farming game because of the connection errors today

It started at least a week before breeding started, but has become worse because of the event. Its bad enough I keep thinking I've lost internet, especially when I don't even get the tombstone page. It is not really linked to the refreshes I don't think. It's definitely unrelated to the hourly at least, because it'll be halfway through the hour and it happens. Sometimes it'll happen a lot throughout an hour or two, sometimes its stable enough for hours.

Was just hunting in the AP for the last 20 minutes and connection was fine, now it's laggy again, clicks seem to go through as I "caught" a CB Pryanost with the message that my limit of 2 CB is reached, while others did not. There wasn't a significant increase of users in the AP when lagging started (30-36).

The site has been under DDoS attacks. Unfortunately this is not something TJ can resolve.
